Working with Brian from Boise Landscape Design was absolutely amazing! From the very beginning, he brought a level of professionalism, creativity, and attentiveness that far exceeded my expectations. He spent over three hours with me during our initial consultation, truly listening to my vision and understanding the unique needs of our large family with six children, while also designing a space perfect for entertaining!

What had felt overwhelming for years was suddenly exciting and achievable. Brian patiently walked me through every detail—plant selections, ground cover, hardscaping, water features, firepit placement, and decking options. His ability to combine functionality with natural beauty was truly impressive.

When he unveiled the final design, it genuinely felt like Christmas morning! The attention to detail was remarkable, and the plan he created will completely transform our backyard into a tranquil, inviting oasis. It’s not just a design—it’s a space where memories will be made for years to come.

Five Stars – Exceptional Landscape Vision & Execution!

My wife and I recently completed a major backyard transformation, and working with Brian Bentler was one of the best decisions we made in the entire process.

We first met Brian several years ago when he was with a large landscaping firm in the Treasure Valley. Even then, his preliminary design for our patio impressed us with its creativity and thoughtful layout. Although that original patio was never built, we never forgot Brian’s vision and talent.

Fast forward to this year—we found an exceptional contractor to design and build our new patio addition, and we knew immediately we wanted Brian to bring his expertise to the landscaping. His design exceeded all our expectations. He created a beautiful, functional plan that included inviting spaces for entertaining, meandering paver walkways, low-maintenance plantings, and, most importantly, preserved our stunning backyard lake views.

Brian’s creative skills are truly remarkable. He listened to our ideas, blended them seamlessly with his own expert insights, and produced an incredible 3D rendering that brought our dream backyard to life before a single shovel hit the ground. His design was so well-prepared and detailed that it sailed through our HOA approval process without a hitch.

We are now watching Brian’s vision become a reality, thanks to Hockema Landscape—led by Kabe Hockema—whose craftsmanship and attention to detail in construction are every bit as outstanding as Brian’s design work.

Clean up wasn't done. Weeds weren't done. Hacking of our bushes last year killed them for this spring.

Could do better securing their load. Had to follow one of their trucks on highway 16 dropping gravel it the back the whole way. Could do a better job for sure

My Son had worked there for a bit, his friend still does. Anyway, I now have the wall along my lawn that I've always wanted. And even better than I could have done myself. Was a great learning experience for Son.

Your driver off of Overland today was a real prick in traffic. Not great advertising when you’re driving a business rig.

This company is clearly misnamed. It should be called "Lazyco" instead. For some unknown reason our HOA renewed our contract with them, despite half-@ssed maintenance, dying trees, and unkept landscaping. I watched their people get off their riding lawnmower, move some branches, then move some branches back once they cut. I called our property manager to have them come back out to our development to remove the branches, only to find them in a vacant lot next door to me the following day! Now it has been three weeks since they have come out to our community and it looks so bad with all the leaves everywhere that several neighbors and I have taken it upon ourselves to clean part of the common area that a competent landscape company would be maintaining. Do not hire these useless and lazy "landscapers"!

I reached out to Lawnco to get a quote on tree treatment. I was given an arrogant attitude by the salesman and basically told I would be given a quote AFTER the first application. “This is what happens next on our end if you want to continue with Lawnco bro We are Super busy with this stuff” I don’t think so BRO!

Earlier this evening my 2 year old and I were walking through the parking lot of Albertsons on Cole & Fairview when a white Lawn Co truck (which was treating the parking lot with ice melt apparently) came dangerously close to hitting us and didn't even slow down.

He (or she) then continued speeding around while I waited for the opportunity to read the logo on the truck.

Shame on you for your blatant disregard for safety.

These guys take good care of the lawn in our subdivision but completely butchered the shrubs! They cut all the blooms off all the grasses and sheared the shrubs into meatball shapes :-(
