Our FarWest Landscaping team has delivered beyond our expectations and we will definitely be using them again as our landscaping needs develop.   Our yard needed a lot of basic groundwork; eliminating 3 large slabs of cracked concrete, installing drainage at the base of all downspouts, and adding french drains or weeping drains as needed to manage the amount of water that accumulated in certain areas. In addition to this extensive remediation work, we wanted to build enough of a foundational setting to be able to grow a beautiful garden over time, at our leisure.  We worked with Emily to develop a plan and she was able to hone in on a style that works for us, using trees that will give us shade over time and breaking down our new paver sitting area into three areas for interest and to maximize the time we spend outdoors.  She brought great ideas to the table and was flexible as we modified our options before starting the project.  Nick was our project manager and once he and his team took over things moved quickly and smoothly, communication was excellent.  It was a 3 week project and with Isaiah managing the day-to-day work with an exceptional crew (thank you Alex, Victor and Oscar!) it wasn't long before we saw our yard completely transform.  We highly recommend FarWest, and this team, and look forward to working with them again in the future as our backyard oasis continues to develop.

We had the best customer experience thanks to Lorrie. She helped us determine exactly what would work in a particular area based on sun exposure. It was a hot day and with our limited mobility she took good care of us.

When I was looking to do a total redo of my yard several years ago, Gary was the only landscaping company that would even talk to me. Other companies wanted plans drawn by a professional landscape architect or their own landscape architect. They wouldn't consider working from the plans drawn by a recently graduated horticulture student.

Gary and his crew did a wonderful job translating my vision for my yard into reality. They were willing to accommodate some plan changes as we went along. The job included a large patio of pavers that still looks great. They reinstalled a new sprinkler system that is still working well. Gary went with me to the nursery to pick out the plants and shrubs.

I have used them since for weed control in the bed areas and for other miscellaneous maintenance. Gary is very accessible and returns calls promptly.

Got a bunch of trees removed along with regular landscape work. They do an excellent job all around!

Called about next year's lawn service and they don't even know if they will be available. Won't be using them now or in the future. Poor business etiquette.

I lost control of my yard and just could not seem to catch up on it. I needed a jump start with a full clean up of overgrown weeds, flower bed renewal, edging. Etc. The hard work and work ethic of the man they sent out was truly inspiring!! I’m still blown away that one man did all that he did in a single day. I wanted to get out there and help. I’m not used to letting someone else do all the work, but I’ve come to the hard realization that I’m not Wonder Woman. I can’t wait to do more business with this company as I try to continue to build up my curb appeal and improve the health of my poor neglected lawn/landscaping.

I requested that somebody come out and give me a bid for some Landscaping work that we needed. Gary called me back that same day, and set up a time to come the following day. However, Gary never showed up nor did he have the decency to call me and reschedule. Not very responsive and left me waiting for nothing, not good customer service. Disappointed.

Had a water leak in my front yard I looked for weeks to find it. Finally called Green Lawn care and was met by a very well trained employee, he found the leak within an hour. Their rates were very reasonable.

Terrible costumer service. I called to ask about tree removal and the gentleman on the phone didn’t ask any details about the job. He immediately said he won’t come out and remove the tree for less than 500$. “If your looking for something cheaper I’m not your guy.” I never said what price range I was looking in. I was willing to pay more than 500$ But I’m happily going to spend my money somewhere else.

If you want to consider hiring Gary Banse, please do your homework first. Get EVERYTHING in writing WITH HIS signature as to costs, materials, time, size of plants, and your COMPLETE expectations, otherwise, you will be shocked at his open-ended billing with NO itemization. I was given a quote for $5000+, ended up with a $7000+ bill, DEAD plants and drip system not working. NO attemps at fixing or even an apology. Bottom line is: Gary is NOT a landscape designer and has no interest whatsoever is a job well done or even a satisfied customer. He may be great at mowing lawns, but designating himself as a viable landscape company is patently untrue in my experience. BEWARE.

Had a technician come out and do fabulous work. Nathan was his name! I will do repeat business based on this experience.
