This is our HOA's new landscape maintenance provider, and apparently it's all about the leaf blowers. 1) After mowing and edging (some places, but not others), a worker with a leaf blower comes along and blows clippings and lawn debris off the hardscape and onto the front porch, 2) then a worker comes by and blows some of it off the porch, 3) then a worker with his blower returns and blows some of it back onto the porch. 4) For the finalé, yet another worker with a blower comes by to clean up the gutter, and blows its contents – cigarette butts and assorted litter, windfall from the trees, dead leaves, rocks and asphalt rubble that collects there – all back onto the grass and sidewalk. Brilliant.

We've used various lawn care companies over the years, and Pro Care is the best. From their professional technicians to their super helpful and friendly office staff, they are a great company. Highly recommend.

I've used Pro Care Landscape Services for several years ranging from sprinkler blowouts and irrigation repair to lawn/tree/shrub treatments. The front office staff is very friendly and responsive and the field techs seem very knowledgeable in their related field.

Rude and unprofessional!

Called to schedule a consultation with an arborist. The lady at the office took our name and number, but never called back to schedule an appointment.
We did not follow up and had almost forgotten about it until a few days ago when we received a bill over $45.00 for a consultation.
Apparently, the arborist had just showed up a few days after our call and looked at the tree. We never received a follow-up call/letter or email telling us the result of this "inspection"--you can hardly call it a "consultation" since neither one of us was present.
When I called in response to the invoice, the person staffing the office, a lady named Bethany was unable to provide me with any information in regards to the arborist's visit, but made it very clear that we owed the $45.00. After questioning her further, she became increasingly snippy and finally ended hanging up on me.
We will most definitely never call this outfit again for any landscaping/yard care needs!

UPDATE: 12/31/2013. We have an update on this review, because the company, through a certified arborist, has done a good job of following up on the issues we identified in our review. We have now received the services we contracted for, and the representative came to our home and was well-qualified, well-informed and had done a significant amount of research on our property and the tree in question. The services were done in a professional, and appropriate manner. It does seem to us that the initial contact from their office person was an isolated instance of that one individual, and was not representative of the company as a whole.

Would give them 6 stars if I could. These guys are incredibly hard working. Their landscaping team built a beautiful paver patio in my backyard. From the people in the office to the salesman to the crew doing the work, I couldn’t have been happier with my experience with Pro Care!

This is the 3rd year Pro Care has serviced my trees and they are thriving, disease free, and healthy. Kelsea just deep fed all my 20 trees and many shrubs and the TLC she showed them was appreciated!! Kelsea and other employees of Pro Care are above and beyond caring people who do the right thing for their customers, rare these days. Pro Care continues to treat their employees and customers the right way. THANK YOU

I've used Pro-Care for a quite a few years for both regular lawn fertilization and tree care. No complaints about any of this. My reason for not giving them 5 stars is because they talked me into a soil aeration a couple of times. The aeration punctured some sprinkler lines in a couple of places which went undetected for a while until over the next year when the lawn became gradually spongy in a couple of places. When the sprinkler lines were blown out for the winter, a couple of geysers sprouted up to reveal the defects. You could see the defects by looking at the lines and see that the holes were very regular in shape indicating that the aeration tines had punctured them. It cost me money and inconvenience to get them fixed. My advice: use Pro-care for fertilization and weed treatment, but avoid aeration unless you are confident that your sprinkler lines are buried extra deep.

I own multiple properties and I used to perform all the landscape maintenance myself. Two of my properties developed an infestation that I was failing to properly manage. It looked as though I was losing some trees and shrubs and I had to break down and ask for help. Pro Care came highly recommended and their certified arborist truly impressed me with his depth of knowledge and professionalism. He even knew the Latin vocabulary for the plants and pests (being a medical professional with years of Latin classes, I was impressed). Anyhow, they saved my landscapes efficiently and the price was so reasonable, I had them bid for complete maintenance and my properties have never looked so good. A coworker who lives on the same block as my 4 plex asked me how I had such a beautiful yard and that it was the best in the neighborhood and I honestly had to admit I handed it over to Pro Care!
I would also like to comment that I utilized Pro Care's landscape construction services at my home last summer. I had them remove sod, add a raised berm, add a concrete border, reorient the sprinklers, install all new plants and bark in my Tuscony Villiage home with a large empty back yard. They were inexpensive and did the work promptly. Very polite hard workers that we enjoyed. I trust these guys and appreciate them. They are a well run professional company.
