He's the only mechanic I've used in the last 15 years or so with the few issues i couldn't fix myself and he's been great. That's why i was surprised when i took my car in to get an issue looked at on Monday. No word, try to call Thurs and no answer. Stop by Friday and he hands me my key saying it's the transmission, need to take it to a transmission shop. It was apparent by the snow the car was sitting since Tues. Had he called it may be almost done by now, instead I'm borrowing a car for another week. I won't be back.

My go-to. This guy will often fix things for half the price as other shops. He is honest with me. He is quick and he will get back to me with what exactly needs to be done to make the car operable again, and what else can be done but isn't absolutely necessary.

Bill, his wife, and their sons have always been incredible to work with on any of the wide variety of car issues, big or small, that I've brought into them. Rudy's has been my auto shop since my very first car and will continue to be.

I thankfully found Bill to work on my college sons car about 5 years ago. Since then he has actually worked on several of the family vehicles. He and his son John are very professional and always honest, fair and dependable. So happy to call them this morning and be able to send the big ford in for repair!! Thanks Bill & John, appreciate you so much!!

I am always pleasantly surprised when I find out the cost for repairs on my vehicle. I almost feel like I'm taking advantage of them! Rudy's keeping my Camry running, with 300k miles on it. High-quality work for low prices. You can't go wrong here.

Exceptional experience at Rudys. I got a surprise day off and decided to get a part replaced in my car. Bill promised he could have it done that day, and despite being busy he stayed well after closing hours to make sure it was done and that everything worked properly. He is now my go-to for all mechanical needs on my vehicles.

I don't know what motivated the guy who wrote the assassination review. It is so over the top as to be suspect. Ending with "This guy smells..." The only thing that you are likely to smell there is a lot of WD-40 on some days.
Bill Rudy gets his business mostly by word of mouth. I am 67 years old and have been going to him for more than a dozen years. Small office and always busy two lift garage. His shop is all work... no glass waiting rooms... so don't bring the kids and plan to spend an hour or so. No waiting area.
He has never suggested something that my vehicle did not need. His estimates are sometimes half of other repair shops... and vastly less than dealerships. He has never charged me a penny over estimate. He will install quality parts that you buy if you wish... though he will only guarantee the labor in such a circumstance.
Only problem recently is that his shop is overworked. I called last week, but he could only get to my vehicle today. He needs more mechanics, but he refuses to hire anybody who doesn't measure up to his standards.
I have a mechanic and a doctor and a dentist that I can trust. It took me years to wind up with all three.

I have been taking my vehicles to Rudy's for years, on the recommendation of a trusted friend of mine. He is honest and trustworthy, and does a great job. He is a straight shooter, and will not recommend a repair he doesn't think is necessary. I completely trust Bill and I highly recommend him. He is fair and gets the job done.

These guys were amazing! We are from Kansas City and I had my whole family in a full sized Ford van going across the country on a summer trip and we got stranded in Boise with a bad wheel bearing. (Don’t ever get bearings made in China!) I called dozens of mechanics. Everyone was booked for days. These guys put aside their schedule to help us. They gave me a ride back to our hotel and repaired the van as quick as they possibly could. They got us back on the road an hour after they got the parts they needed. I would trust them again with any of my vehicles if the opportunity ever came up again. Their price was great and they were so honest and helpful. Thanks Rudy’s!!!

Rudy's Auto is fantastic! They are honest, knowledgable, and do excellent work. They diagnosed my Subaru outback's engine issue in a very clever way and poinpointed the issue so that I didn't have unnecessary work performed. They have fair prices and it's obvious they are extremely experienced. I haven't had any trouble with my engine since! Definitely recommend.

Will not recommend this place. I had a friend tow my 1998 Toyota Camry to Rudy's when I was out of the country because he couldn't get it to start. It just sat on his lot. Eventually returned to the US but couldn't get around to the Camry. About 6 months ago I had an unpleasant experience where I asked them to fix my car, but was told it would cost me thousands of dollars. I told him I still wanted it fixed but he refused and wouldn't do it. He kept pushing me to sell it to him for 250$. He muscled me out of a good car that ran great before. Only recently did I realize why he did that to me. Cars have appreciated (due to inflation) in the past year and I am sure he made thousands of dollars off of me. My friend who took the car over to this place has an attachment to this business, but I believe I was scammed out of my own vehicle. Whatever happened to giving the customer what they want? Therefore they deserve this review and I will never have any car serviced there ever again. After all this time the bad taste in my mouth has yet to go away.

Rudy got me in on very short notice and had my car finished quickly. Honest, friendly, easy to work with, and very reasonable pricing - hard to find all of that at one place these days. Only thing to be aware of is that they don't always call right away when your car's done; I didn't hear anything for several days and then called to find out they'd been done for a couple days. Given everything else it's pretty hard to hold that against them.

What a great guy! He stopped what he was doing and helped me fix my bike as I was riding through the neighborhood and noticed my seat was broken. I will definitely take my car here! What service and care.
