Vic and his team were great. We scheduled a date to have some work done, but when they had a cancelation they let me know right away and got to our job a couple days earlier. When the job was completed our trees looked fantastic. If you asked me if I would hire them again my answer would be YES.

We hired A Cut Above Tree Service for a major tree trim project in our subdivision. They were by far the most communicative and very in tune with our needs as well as educational as to how they were going to trim our trees and why a specific way is crucial. We worked with Chandler (who was amazing) and their entire crew. They left our community very clean when completed. They started and finished the project as scheduled, on time and on budget. This was not a small project but they handled it very professionally. We have almost 900 trees in our community.

A Cut Above did a fantastic job on pruning my trees and lilacs. They were on time, very fast and efficient and cleaned up very well after. It was fun to watch the climber and how he was able to get the ones he wanted. I will use them again.

We are more than pleased at the hard work the A Cut Above did for my yard. They pruned 2 trees and removed a troublesome 40+ foot maple tree. They informed my husband along the way. We are native Idahoans and were looking for a company who were certified, licensed, and insured arborists. A company who could "do it all". Trim, Prune, and maintain the health of our long time Boise trees. A Cut Above was professional, responsive, hard working, personable, and cleaned up after the work was done. All of the workmen were professional, hard working, and their teamwork was amazing to watch. We were very impressed with the level of service, from beginning to end. They are communicative, knowledgeable, informative, and a good resource to talk about tree maintenance. A Cut Above is fantastic -- timely, communicative, excellent work, reasonable prices, and mindful of our house and dogs on our property. Their trained arborists helped us decide the best options for the trees in our backyard, including removing a large one too close to our house. Vic, the owner, was onsite for the work, made sure we were happy, and ground down the big stump of the removed tree himself. For such a big job, we were impressed that they completed the work, cleaned up (a great cleanup job!), and completely done in under four hours. We can't even tell a tree used to be there. Loved working with them and we look forward to doing so again when we go to plant a few more trees in the yard. Highly recommend!

From the first free evaluation and cost estimate to remove a sick and dying maple tree to completion of the job, Jared with A Cut Above tree service did an excellent job. He answered our questions about a replacement tree. In doing so, he demonstrated extraordinary knowledge about all things: trees.
