I highly recommend this tree company! I had an over a hundred foot tall tree in a tight space I needed cut. Many other tree services wouldn't even put a bid on it because it was too technical. Sawtooth did the job at a great price and left the exact stump height I wanted. This crew is seriously impressive.

I have used Sawtooth Tree Service for 3 jobs now and have had such a great experience each time, I no longer get other bids when I need tree work done. The workers are skilled, work hard and respect the property. The price is very fair, and communication is excellent.

We had no choice but to remove two large oak trees near our driveway. This was a big job. To add complexity, a local tree farm and milling company was interested in the oak. It is beautiful wood and it would have been a shame to discard it all. Sawtooth worked with and assisted the other company in picking up and loading large sections of oak. The Sawtooth crew did a superb job for us. We needed a three-year trim of an aging, 70 ft tall silver maple tree and removal of two small trees in problematic locations. All was done expertly. They took care to avoid harming other landscaping, used good safety practices for themselves (thank goodness), and seemed to care about the trees on which they worked. They even cut limbs up for our fireplace. When done, they left the yard in good order. Finally, they were a pleasant bunch of guys. We appreciate the work they did for us, to keep our large, aging tree healthy, symmetrical, and stable for years to come.

Great experience with Sawtooth Tree Service. Dave and his team were professional and friendly. While it pained me to remove a 70’ Scotch Pine that was part of my childhood (yes, I’m a tree hugger), Sawtooth Tree handled it with care and curiosity including cleanup.

I’ve been using Sawtooth Tree Service for many years to trim and remove trees. Their work is impeccable, immaculate and consistently less expensive than any other service provider that I have found. I won’t use any other company!

I can’t thank David and his team enough. I was so impressed with their work. I had a lot of trees that needed major trimming (many in difficult areas) in addition they removed 2 very large trees including stump grinding. They have top of the line equipment and did such a professional job. When they finished they clean up everything and left it looking great. The pricing was very reasonable. I will definitely use them again. If you need any tree service you will not be disappointed-hands down the best.

I got a quote from Sawtooth in October to remove 3 large trees from my property including stump grinding. Out of 4 quotes Sawtooth was by far the most reasonably priced (very reasonable actually). Dave and I agreed to meet a my house at 9 am and as i was pulling in at 8:58 am he was pulling in behind me... A+ for punctuality. My time is valuable and he didn't waste it by being late. They got to work quick and i think had everything done in 3 days. One tree was against a fence line and i believe they hit some wire which added some time. If it were not for the tree with wire they might have had everything down in 2 days. I requested they leave the Chips and wood less than 8" on my property for mulch and firewood, respectively. the chips were dumped cleanly in one area and all the wood was piled. They came back to grind out the stumps a week later due to weather and letting the stump killer soak in. 2 of the trees were near irrigation ditch banks and the stumps were ground in a way that did not compromise the ditch bank. most communication was done via text and a few phone calls which were all responded to in a timely fashion. I prefer to pay with credit card as i get points/miles so i was glad to be able to pay an electronic invoice with my credit card. Overall a good experience.

We really enjoyed having the team here… listening to them have fun cutting down the tree makes me want to be an arborist if I’m being honest!

But they did a phenomenal job throughout the entire process, from how fast we got the quote, to booking, to having the tree gone, it was super easy working with their team and the communication was perfect for my schedule.

We love the outcome, they ground the stump down and you’d never even know there was a tree there. They also came in with the lowest cost of the vendors we reached out to and made it quick and easy.

But I truly loved how friendly, approachable, and fun their team was.

We will definitely be using the team again when needed.

Sawtooth tree service workers were awesome and were so kind to even help us load our friends pickup with the extra wood. They were quick and cleaned up the area and street perfectly. The team did a great job from start to finish. They took their time, were conscientous about the integrity of the tree, and did a remarkable job with clean up. Reasonably priced and great communicaion as well throughout.

We want to thank you and the entire crew at Sawtooth Tree Service for the fantastic job they did removing the 75-year-old silver maple from our backyard in Boise. Initially we did not want to remove the tree because it was a mainstay in our backyard. Once it started losing limbs it became a hazard. We were extremely impressed with the sawyer who climbed the tree and cut it down. The sawyer pointed out to us that the tree center was rotted out and we had prevented it coming down hard in windstorm. Everyone did a wonderful job removing and shredding debris. The crew that came back to remove the stump was equally professional and conscientious.

Very happy with the work of removing a tree and grinding the stump in our back yard! Dave’s bid was great and the work was done within a week of the quote. Exactly what we needed and were hoping for. Patrick and crew were very nice and professional and cleaned up the demo well! We did want the mulch from the stump grinding as well as a chunk of the lower tree, so they left that for us. We’re very happy with the outcome and experience with this company and would definitely have them back when we need!!
