Called Ryan to come out and access a large 35+ year old maple that lost 3 large limbs in the snow and wind in Oct. Also discussed removing a large oak and honey locust and shape trimming a large ash. We've used Specialty for many years, having similar work performed in the past, all with the same excellent care to the trees, the adjacent landscaping, lawn and various yard "art and ornaments". arrived with crew of 6 and necessary equipment. They got on it, took great care to talk with us about any concerns, before and during the work. Got the job done in about 2 hours! Excellent work, trimmed trees look much better, Maple will shape up, removal done with great care and great clean up of debris, could not be happier ... as usual! Specialty is always who we recommend.

Great service at a good price. We had another company come out to give an estimate and the price was almost as much as Specialty charged but they told us we had to remove the stumps ourselves.

We had Ryan's company do tree trimming at our rental property and spraying the trees at our home for bark beetles. They were timely, did excellent work in all respects, and left the jobs very clean. These were all trees that we recently inherited when we moved here and were all in great need of attention to ensure we don't loose them. The trimming of our trees is particularly amazing. They have good structures and shapes now that they are cleaned up. We look forward to having the company do more work of grinding old stumps out in the Spring.

Have used these guys twice now. Service is prompt, professional, and waaaay less than others locally. Their attention to detail is amazing. Always leaving the yard better than when they arrived. Highly recommended for tree removal ( 2 diseased aspen trees) and trimming (4 large fir trees). Heck these guys are so awesome I would recommend them to do anything. The level of service is just that great!

I called Specialty Tree Services to remove one large boxelder tree and prune a large maple tree at one of our rentals. Ryan emailed me an estimate the same day for a very reasonable price and within a few days the it was done. They did an incredible job. Fast, courteous and clean. Thanks Ryan.

Specialty Tree Services removed a full sized mature fir tree in a residential area within a very tight space between homes. This bid was not the lowest, but I was impressed with the professionalism and obvious experience of the owner who did the estimate. His explanation and description of the process was reassuring. Questions were answered directly. This was an amazing amount of work and worth every penny!

The Specialty Tree crew of five persons showed up right on the spot at the beginning of the first day as scheduled. They carefully removed a panel of plastic fence for equipment access and carefully placed a number of 4x8 plywood panels to protect the patio and lawn. I was fascinated by the process and was welcomed to watch most of the day it took to removed the tree. The teamwork and experience of this crew was obvious. They worked tirelessly and communicated with each other extremely well and were very confidence inspiring. This took the whole day and a couple workers showed up the following morning to finish up the cleanup. I can't say that I don't miss the tree very much, but with all of the wind blow-downs recently in the neighborhood, and this tree's condition, this needed to be done. They left the place spotless!

In summary, I give this outfit my highest recommendation.

Fast friendly service from the boss on down. Cleanup was amazing, nothing left to pick up later here, or in my neighbor's yard across the fence line. This is the second time I've had STS do some work, definitely worth what they provide. Highly recommended.

From our 1st phone call to our first walk through of my property, Ryan was great to work with. He answered all my questions and made me fill comfortable. He emailed me a quote for the removal of a bunch of Aspen trees, and the pruning of my River Birch tree. He worked with me on scheduling and his crew did a wonderful job. They exceeded my expectations. I will be looking forward to having them do some more work for me in the spring.

I had a large, dead birch tree close to my house that needed to come down and Murl and Nick did an amazing job of getting it taken down carefully, and leaving the area so clean it was hard to tell a tree had ever been there! They were a pleasure to work with and Ryan was great at communication and pricing. I’m grateful that I don’t have to worry about the tree falling over in a strong wind anymore. Just had a tree removed from my backyard and Specialty tree did a fantastic job at getting the tree down in a tight corner and very good cleanup. I would definitely recommend them. The price was very reasonable and they are fast and efficient. Great job !!

We had some tree damage on one of our latge maple trees, so I called a number of tree companys, some never returned my call but Ryan at specialty was quick to responed and came out the next day. Very professional and knowledgable. would highly recommend them, there respectfully of our property and polite and and did a great job cleaning up after. We eneded up having a couple other trees prunned and some tree spraying done.

I called 5 service providers to remove a large number of trees from the property. Ryan, with Specialty Tree Service, was the only provider to call me back, and on the same day that I left the message. A month later I still have not received calls from the other 4. Ryan, who is very pleasant and knowledgeable, came to the house the next day and issued a quote that was more than reasonable . We set up service three weeks later and, WOW, what a great job! The crew of 4 were professional, organized, clean, and very protective of my property. The over 150 feet of grass to be driven on with large heavy equipment was carefully covered with plywood sheets. As the trees came down in sections, nothing heavy hit the ground, very well managed. Total clean-up was completed and one day after watering the yard, I cannot tell that they were here...other than my 9 willow trees being gone. I would tell anyone having tree work done, support this local business. Specialty Tree Services does a phenomenal job.

Ryan is extremely knowledgeable and very valuable in keeping my trees healthy. With 52 trees and 15 different varieties, that becomes complicated for me, but Specialty Tree Services takes great care of them all. I highly recommend their services, including spraying, treating and pruning.

I have had Specialty Tree service on two different jobs in the past few years. The most recent involved taking down 14 hazard trees which were very close to our home and shop. The Crew did an outstanding Job, Very Professional , and hard working crew. This wasn't an ordinary job. one bad move and considerable property damage could have resulted. Not with this crew, they did a wonderful job and went the extra mile to take care of it properly. After they were finished , they cleaned up the property and you could not tell they were even here, not even a pine needle left. If you want a job professionally done and done right , I highly recommend Ryan, Ken and the crew at specialty Tree service. My neighbor was so impressed with them, he hired them to do some work as well.
