Summer Lawns mows the common area for Eagle Glen Town Homes, in Eagle, and it rained today...and they still continued to mow through the rain storm. You cant mow a lawn in the rain! The grass is laying down from the rain so the grass doesn't even get cut!

Summer Lawns maintains several communities that we manage in the area and we like working with Brendan and his team. He's responsive to our requests and provides a great service. Thanks Brendan!

I don't know what has happened with Summer Lawns, I have had pretty good service in the past until the last year. I have only used them for spider barrier services. They make appointments and then don't show when they were supposed to come, I would call and then it takes a day or two for someone to get back and reschedule. I've always received a paper statement left on my door (the bill) That has now changed they email it to you so I got a call the first time that they didn't receive my payment and I apologized and said I don't remember getting a bill I must have overlooked it and they then explained they don't leave bills anymore they email it to you so they had an old email address I gave them my new one so now they have serviced my address again and I called about an invoice and was told they will be sending one to me. Well fast forward a month maybe even two and I get a call that my account wasn't paid - verified the information and again wrong email address. I paid with the service with my credit card over the phone and asked them to send me an invoice to the appropriate email and nothing but today I show they charged my credit card an added a $5.00 late charge. I think they need to restructure their management and get things back inline like they used to run things. Needless to say I won't be using them again.

My neighbor asked me yesterday how come our yard looks so green! I told him about Summer Lawns and he just said wow. This company is prompt and efficient and also very friendly. I highly recommend!

If I could give a "0" rating I would. These are the new contractors for the HOA in our neighborhood and despite multiple attempts to talk to them about large sections left untouched, dead trees left un-pruned/removed, and large piles of debris left they continue to Ignore our requests. Below is a picture of the "job" they did "clearing" a large weeded area...stopping 1/2 through the job, extending only about 2' off the road. Absolutely ridiculous.

We partner with Summer Lawns on many of our Communities Managed by myself and my team of Managers in the Treasure Valley. Brendan goes above and beyond to help us keep our clients happy. He deserves 6 stars if it were possible!

Summer Lawns billed me for a treatment that I did not authorize with the price discussed. Then they wouldn't return my phone calls then sent me to collections! Very unprofessional. Make sure nothing is verbal because they are dishonest.

We have been Summer Lawn customers for over a year - both for lawn services and Christmas light decorating. We are very pleased with their proactive approach and our lawn has been transformed over the last year. Kyler is so helpful and is great at offering suggestions for more improvement. I'm happy to recommend Summer Lawn!

Summer Lawns is a top landscaping company from design to end I would highly recommend them. Summer lawns that would be one and Joe took into account my disabilities and designing my yard. Juan Carlos the worker he always let me know when he arrived he always let me know when they were leaving very considerate of my needs. I'm in love with my yard watch for pictures.

Summer lawns has been a breath of fresh air. I used Zamzow's DIY fertilizer program for a year and was constantly battling my yard with weeds and dry spots. Finally I got fed up and decided to hire the pros. After only one application my yard has never looked healthier. The technician was super nice and knowledgable. I'm with these guys for the long haul. Thanks again!

Summer Lawns is contracted by our HOA for common area lawn care, tree trimming and numerous other services. Last year their lawn care service grossly deteriorated. Several areas were overwatered causing mower wheel ruts that went ignored. This year their weekly string trimming has been overlooked for several weeks at a time in at least one particular area. Their "supervisor" has recommended a french drain in a large swale area, stating it is needed for better drainage -- an area that has seen no drainage problem in 15+ years.
His time would be better spent supervising the work of his employees instead looking for imaginary issues/jobs to bring in more revenue. I would not hire them.

I had input from 4 or 5 different lawn care companies and chose Summer Lawns because they were the only one who had someone come out to actually look at my lawn. The others either quoted from a Google map view, or based on size. They are responsive to questions and have always checked out problems I have with my lawn (which are infrequent). My lawn looks great and grows well.

They service my subdivision. Constantly over watering and tearing up the grass with their lawn mower tires. They are trigger happy with their weed sprayer. They have reseeded some areas that they've torn up in the past and the seeds don't even match the current grass so it looks like a patchy quilt.. We've been using them for years here and they just keep getting worse. Horrible service.

I live in an apartment complex that Summer Lawns services. They do a terrible job! Lawns are unevenly mowed and they consistently miss entire swaths of grass...recently they had a two woman crew “trim” the landscaping and they butchered the roses in particular, left a lot of dead branches on the shrubs, and left invasive grasses growing through the shrubs...and a gentleman that was supposedly checking the sprinklers and soaker hoses left at least three sprinkler heads laying on the ground after he was “done” and didn’t fix any of the dry areas around my building. They also are spray happy with their weed killer and spray it right at the bases of trees to kill anything in the tree ring, which I suspect is why one of the trees has died. I would never recommend these supposed lawn “experts”.

Unfortunately there isn't a "0" stars rating. AVOID THIS COMPANY so you don't have to experience DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY! PHOTOS ATTACHED.

Despite being asked by our community management several times to stop being so careless and damaging property, they continue week after week. Repetitively!

Management of the community where I live has escalated the issue all the way up to the owner of Summer Lawns, but the irresponsible owner doesn't take it seriously or resolve the issue.
I stress about gardening day, dreading it, and I proactively go out and clean up any leaves/debris from my driveway, walkway, and yard on the morning they are scheduled to come. I do this prior to them coming so that my property/plants don't get destroyed by them when they come. Kinda defeats the whole purpose of hiring gardeners!

They take their blowers and blow all the debris from multiple units and buildings down to the corner units. They blow it into anything in its path with such force that there is so much debris blasted into my garden pots and plants, under my door past the weather-stripping to the point where it even comes into the front entrance. It results in such a mess, requiring an hour of clean-up all over again, and kills my plants. It doesn't matter that even though my property started off clean from my efforts prior to them coming, I am left with a mess. (SEE PHOTOS.)

They have also chipped the siding with their mowers, they blast debris all over the buildings to the point where it is blasted higher than the windows and doors and caught in the window wells and tops door frames at least 7 ft high. I was also told they've sent rocks flying into glass doors cracking them, not by accident but total disregard and carelessness (facing the wrong ways while weed whacking).

It's not just a little debris, but a lot. I literally picked a WHEELBARROW full of debris in just one day out of my plants and pots, wreath, hanging pots, from under my garage door, lawn chairs, patio table etc.

The owner was sent about 30 photos of repetitive destruction of my property by the management of my community. They asked the owner to come see for himself and clean it up. He came and said it's normal for that to happen and did NOT clean it up! They asked him to reimburse me for the damage... he didn't.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY if you don't want a huge mess and destroyed property to deal with!

Summer Lawns has been taking care of our many trees for a couple years now and they do a great job! Good price, good communication and helpful and courteous. Can't ask for more than that.
I have already recommended you to many people. :)

Summer Lawns was contracted by my homeowner's association to maintain our properties. The contract States they will mow, edge, apply weed and bug control products. Our cul-de-sac is 3 years old and is ruined, due to lack of water, weed control, fugus and bugs. I started to complain months ago while the problems were treatable, but nothing was done until it was too late. Summer is the time you're supposed to enjoy a green healthy lawn, but what we got was year round dead lawn and nice healthy weeds.

    Stay away!

Everyone I've worked with at Summer Lawns has been helpful and very friendly. It's only been a few months since they've been treating my lawn and it's already greener! Fairly priced and professional, I highly recommend Summer Lawns to anybody.

They do a terrible job in our subdivision. I don't know why they were chosen to do the common areas. They do not blow the grass off of the side walks and left a pile of grass at least 6 hours on the road when you enter our subdivision. That is unacceptable service. Never leave a pile of grass like that. Unprofessional. I don't think they can do a big job properly. Maybe stick to individual homes. I will be consulting with the Hoa to get a good lawn company. Finally after complaining today they are on-site to blow off the side walks. We have weeds a foot tall in the common parking areas. If I could give them a zero I would.

I use Summer Lawns for pest maintenance. The employees are friendly and respectful. They answered my question regarding a certain pest and followed through with an email for a thorough answer. They are reasonably priced compared to other local companies. I would recommend Summer Lawns to anyone for all their services.

As one previous customer had stated, worst customer service ever! I had the exact same experience where they provided services without consenting me and after I had canceled their services entirely. After explaining this to the Sumner Lawns Representative and company Vice President, they just simply argued and continued to justify their charges for the cancelled services and without any form of understanding. I explained to them I called and cancelled all services. They told me they had a "phone log" keeping track of any phone conversation and did not have any record of me calling. Interestingly, I provided my own log provided by my phone company showing all calls to Summer Lawns and most particularly the one phone call on the date of cancellation. Additionally, they argued they received my approval along with a signature from me allowing for additional extra services. I argued that was fraudulent considering the fact that I was renting out my home and it was impossible I signed anything as I have been living out of the state. Without any reasoning and decent customer service, they sent me straight to collections. This company is a complete nightmare! I was appalled at the horrific experience and made sure to contact better business as well as warning others of the deceitful business they conduct. Advice I would provide anyone considering Summer Lawns is DO NOT....
