Rocky Mountain Electrical was very professional and clean when they came to do work at our house. We have had them come twice and I will rescheduling again for another appointment. We had all of our light fixtures changed and a few new plugs added. I was very satisfied with their professional work behavior and also very nice and kind. Paul was our worker and I enjoyed working with him because of his knowledge and easy to talk to personality. He cleaned up when he left and brought us yummy english scones too. I don’t know if he’ll do that for everyone but anyway, it was nice and it’s good to have a good experience like we had with them!

Called RME to do a complete new hot tub installation and couldn’t have been happier or more impressed with the quality of work. We were on the schedule within days of our initial call and Greg and Kelly even showed up prior to the installation date to scope out the project and make sure they were prepared ahead of time. You could tell it wasn’t the easiest of jobs (my panel was on the opposite side of the house) but they knocked it out of the park. Would recommend RME to anyone.

Background: We have had 2 other electricians out to bring power to our patio cover that was installed with puck lights and a brace for a ceiling fan, but no electric components needed to be useful were included. Our patio cover is fully insulated, so the job was more complex than an open top cover. Both electricians were completely perplexed, although they were from the firm that was originally recommended by the patio cover company, and indicated that there was really no way to bring power to our unit without potential damage to the unit and the need to cut through the sheetrock on our house. We called the patio cover company and were informed that they no longer work with that firm and have a new electrical company, Rocky Mountain Electric, that is familiar with their covers.

Greg came to scope and quote the job and he was able to design an installation process that didn't require invasive steps, like going through sheetrock. He clearly explained the steps necessary and gave a very reasonable quote, which we agreed with and we scheduled installation.

Greg, and his apprentice Greg, came this morning to perform the work, and we could not be happier. They were on time, courteous, clean, professional and very thorough. Both men communicated with us throughout the process, making sure we were all aligned with the desired outcome. They took the necessary time to do the job properly and neatly, explained how to use the switch and remote and the patio lights and fan look AMAZING, as though all components were manufactured together. The pucks couldn't be used the way they came installed from the patio cover company, but Greg had a great solution that actually makes them stand out more and they lay flat and tight against the cover. They nailed the fan placement too (the patio cover company didn't mark where the brace was). Before leaving, they both made sure the work area was clean, actually cleaner than when they arrived.

Of all the contractors that we have had over the past 2 years to bring our standard spec home up to a home that is to our liking, and there have been SO MANY, Rocky Mountain Electric / Greg & Greg, were by far the top. They will be our go-to for any electrical work that we need.

Installed a new line to our freezer. They were very professional and innovative when confronted with the wiring in an older home. The charge for the service was very reasonable. We appreciated their timely response, and the extra effort they made to complete the job without needing to return. They were friendly and took time to explain the problem and how they proposed to solve it.

We called this company because they had positive Google reviews. The visit was scheduled within a week. Paul and Taylor arrived on time, assessed the project and gave us options, and then completed the project same day. Very professional: they did excellent work promptly; we recommend RME and would use again.

I called Rocky Mountain Electric to schedule an appointment. They called back about 2 hours later saying they had a cancellation and would it be acceptable to have the electricians on site within 45 minutes. I agreed and Greg the electrician arrived with an apprentice and replaced a large ceiling fan with a light fixture I had purchased. Greg swapped the light for the fan exceptionally fast. He was professional and courteous, and I will be using him exclusively for my electrical work.

Rocky Mountain Electric installed many new can lights, replaced ceiling fans, installed new electrical outlets and smart switches. Greg, team lead, was very professional and knowledgeable, provided expert advice and recommendations. I will use them for future electrical needs and would highly recommend them to others!

I had this company come out and install some recessed lights in a bedroom. The electrician (Greg Barron) and his assistance were fantastic, professional, and did exceptional work. I am writing this review, in particular, to mention how transparent and fair they were in their quotes and pricing. No surprises and honesty with costs involved. I could not be more pleased in the service and was a welcome surprise.

My husband and I recently moved and hired RME to add 8-9 new outlets. Greg and TC were incredible to work with! They were both very professional, prompt, and hard workers. They were also incredibly flexible—we had movers in and out of the house for hours and they worked around the chaos. Paul and Greg did a great job on my project list. Paul installed two floor outlets while Greg replaced all of my wall outlets and a ceiling light fixture. They worked efficiently to get everything done in a minimum amount of time, while still doing quality work. I would highly recommend them.

We have used RME for many of our electrical projects over the years. I would absolutely recommend them. Some of the items they have taken care of for us include installing infrared heaters in our sunroom, updating all our indoor/outdoor lighting fixtures, adding new curcuits/outlets in our garage and pantry, adding outdoor outlets, and upgrading the electrical panel. Greg is always professional, knowledgeable, on-time, cheerful, and trustworthy. I know I'm not going to be taken advantage of or overcharged for a problem that doesn't exist. I also appreciate that they treat me this way as a residential customer and don't make me feel inferior because I'm not a contractor, as some companies do.

Greg and Francisco from RME came to my home in Star to install a grounding system along with some other electrical projects that needed attention. They arrived at the appointed time and worked efficiently through each of the projects. February 2024 is the second time in six months I have engaged RME for their assistance on electrical issues in my home and have been completely satisfied with all their work. While I do not consider RME to be inexpensive, I do consider them to be fair in their pricing and they do get the job done correctly the first time. I will be back to see them for electrical work as necessary.

I called RME after a recommendation by a friend. We thought that we had a major issue that could cost us thousands. Steve came and checked out our situation, did some research on our old (we thought obsolete) system, and got back with very good news. They were able to find the parts to get our problem fixed. The office was able to fit us in after the parts arrived. Paul and his apprentice came to the house and got our lights up and running. Plus, took care a few other minor issues we had been living with. He was friendly and knowledgeable, and passed on lots of information. We have found our “go to” electrical contractor. We highly recommend!

We recently used Rocky Mountain Electric for a complete remodel of a house we purchased in the fall of 2020. The team was extremely responsive, professional and easy to work with. They were able to help us with design aspects of new lighting through construction, and guide us through what would work in each room. The team communicated often before any decisions were made through each step of the project. I would recommend them for the quality of work and responsiveness. We will definitely use them again for any future work.

RME ROCKS! These guys are great. From Steve the estimator to Greg and Grant the installers, 5 stars all the way. Professional, courteous, knowledgeable, on time and easy going. They listened to my needs and got the job done exactly the way I wanted it. Steve was very helpful with choosing the appropriate infrared heaters and controls for my outdoor patio project, and was always available for any questions I had. I had assumed that some of the wiring had to be exposed, but Greg and Grant went above and beyond to make sure all the wiring was concealed. Greg suggested options that made the job look and function even better.
I have used RME in the past, and will continue to use them for all my electrical needs.

I called Rocky Mountain Electric to help resolve an issue with the GFI in our bathroom not working and the jacuzzi outlet not having any power. I knew both were controlled by separate breakers.

During their troubleshooting, they didn't see an outlet behind the door, which was the GFI for the jacuzzi. So they required a "specialty tool", a wire tracer, which they did not have on them. They charged me $75 for the tool PLUS the time they took to go pick up the tool at $185/hour.

Their technicians come unprepared to the job lacking basic electrical tools such as a wire tracer and will charge you for the time to go pick up the tool. It's a scam!

We recently had an outdoor structure installed by ShadeWorks. It needed lighting and a ceiling fan installed. Greg and his partner came out today and completed the work in a friendly, knowledgable and professional way. Great service all the way from the folks in the office to the field. I highly recommend RME for any electrical work.

We hired RME to completely rewire our historic 1930 house of which 90% of the electrical was knob and tube as well as to move an electrical panel. I cannot speak more highly of our experience working with everyone at RME. Steve managed and bid the project, he answered all of my questions and spoke to me in plain English since I’m not an electrician. Greg was the lead electrician on our project - his expertise, level of custom service, organization, communication and attention to detail was incredible. He made every effort to minimize demo which at times took some real creativity but he knew that was important to us given we wanted to keep as much original structure / lathe and plaster as we could. He also had a great team working with him - Kelly, Evan and Francisco. We have worked with other electricians and our experience with RME was unparalleled. I recommended RME to my Mom and they are currently doing a number of things to her house - I’d recommend them to anyone!
