I recently had the pleasure of experiencing incredible service from Gem State Generators and I can't praise them enough! This family owned and operated company is amazing. Jon and Kyle know their stuff. From the first phone call I knew I was dealing with professionals who genuinely cared about my issues.

I had taken our Onan on-board generator to a local RV place to diagnose the problem. When they quoted a high price for the work, I decided to make do with our portable generator for a while. I am so glad I didn’t have the RV dealer repair it.

I am so happy I found Gem State Generators. First, they came to us instead of us having to take the motorhome to them. Kyle is incredibly knowledgeable, and had the problem diagnosed in literally 5 minutes. It turned out the diagnosis from the RV Dealer was wrong!

Kyle explained everything clearly and he and Jon discussed different options for getting it fixed and came up with a unique solution that saved us over $1000! They provided a detailed estimate, leaving no room for hidden costs or surprises. The repair was swift and efficient, with my generator running like new in just a couple of days.

What impressed me most was their commitment to customer satisfaction. After the generator was installed back into my RV, and I had run it for a couple of hours, an oil leak was discovered that wasn’t apparent during the initial repair and testing.

They went WAY above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Kyle came back out and removed the generator, took it back to the shop and had to tear the entire thing down to find the leak and fix it.
When he brought it back and reinstalled it, I asked what we owed them for the extra work. He said nothing.
I actually argued with him a bit because this was not in the original scope of work and neither of us knew about the leak. He said they gave us a quote for start to finish and they honor their quotes. I was absolutely blown away. They will have my business for life.

Absolutely top notch service and knowledge. Kyle came out on time, explained the issues, and had my onboard RV generator up and running in no time. He took the time to explain what the issues were and installed some a mesh screen to prevent future problems. Highly recommend!

These guys are awesome. I had a camper generator giving me fits and John got it going only to have it stop working a week later. I called and they came out and got it going again and the issue was probably my own with some bad gas in the line but they stood behind their work and got me fixed up with no extra charges.

We are in the process of a cross-country move and will be living in our RV for a few months. We were given Gem State Generators as a referral from our RV repair technician. We had concerns with our on-board generator throwing out too much power and blowing up light bulbs. So glad we got in touch with them!

Kile came out and had diagnosed the situation within 10 minutes. About 5 minutes and a couple of adjustments later, our generator was up and running as it should. He addressed all of our concerns, answered all of our questions, and offered advice and care tips.

The generator in my motorhome was having lots of issues and wouldn't keep running going down highway making the interior really unpleasant on hot summer days. John and Kyle went out of there way to get it fixed before I had to leave town. I HIGHLY recommend them.

Kile (son of owner John) was informative and provided amazing customer service. My motorhome generator had not been used in the past couple years so he provided information on how to prevent problems in the future and running it for 1-2 hours monthly with a load on it. The mobile service call, generator maintenance (oil change) and information on how to care for my mobile generators was over-the-top service!!!! I’m from Oregon and would not of got this great of service from my area. Very reasonably priced for mobile service. I highly recommend Gem State Generators for any of your generator needs.

What a great father and son business. Had John out several years ago for a small Honda generator issue. He did a great job so I called them again for an issue with the Onan generator in my RV. Kyle came out and immediately diagnosed and fixed the problem with the full system then tested the operation and electrical output to make sure it was all in-spec.. As other's have said he also provided tips and recommendations to keep it running. Without a doubt a quality run family business. It is nice to see the dynamics where the knowledge and skills are passed to the next generation. I would not hesitate to call them again for any generator repair or service issues. Bravo.

Not a cheap product but worth every penny. I got the permanent lighting just before Christmas. It ended up being a two day install on a Thursday and Friday.

There was a programming glitch that they worked over the weekend to fix. Been working perfectly ever since.

The app to control the lights is easy to use and program timers and color schemes for different seasons.

The owners and employees are very professional, friendly, hard working, and knowledgeable.

I would recommend them to anyone and would say it’s a great investment. I was skeptical at first thinking that’s a lot for Christmas lights but I’m having fun changing the colors for Valentines, St Patty’s, Super Bowl, etc.

The white setting provides great perimeter light for safety and security of your home or business.
