I called Town and Country Electric to repair some electrical issues on my elderly father's home in Boise. They promptly sent electrician Wayne to address the problems. Wayne was very professional and not only resolved all of the issues, but came up with some very efficient and cost-saving solutions.
I would highly recommend Town and Country Electric and have only the highest praise for electrician Wayne!

I had full power loss in my home and two shops. Unable to determine the cause I called a few local electrical companies with very poor results, then I called Town and Country and although they were booked out until next week one of the owners was close and offered to come take a look. Within 10 minutes he was at my home-
He immediately saw the problem and did a quick bandaid fix while they find the replacement part. Very knowledgeable and professional!

I was looking to add power to my backyard office along with receptacles, light/fan box, and switches. The electrician that came out was professional and knowledgeable, but when the quote was sent to me by Carla the next day and I was surprised by the price. I replied to email thanking her for the estimate and asked for a breakout of the line items so I could better understand what I was being charged for (2 line items looked like they were quoting the same so I wanted to make sure I understood the difference). My inquiry was never responded to and no follow up. Red flag! Needless to say I went with Jay H Johnson and am so glad I did! If you're looking for communication, punctuality, an expert in the industry, REASONABLE PRICING, and an excellent job done call Jay! Transparentcy and quality all the way around is what I was looking for and found it with Jay (you can find him online on Angi's List, Google, etc.- 5 star ratings). Town & Country was disappointing- no follow up, uncommunicative, and unreasonable prices.

Town & Country did some work for us in February 2017. When they were done they had broken the corner of the drywall off our attic hatch & scratched up the ceiling around the hatch. They also drilled extra holes in our ceiling & marked it with Sharpie and left it that way. We decided not to call & complain and to just move on.
Fast forward to November 2017, when an issue was brought to our attention. One of the jobs to be completed in Feb. was to use an existing wire lying in our crawlspace to hook up a floor outlet in our living room. We have just sold our house & upon the inspection, we have a live wire lying in our crawlspace. I called to see if they would be willing to check it out because they are the only ones who have been in our crawlspace. The receptionist was wonderful & polite. The owner, Andy Ward was not. He was rude, talked to me like I was stupid, & basically stated that we hadn't called before to complain & now we wanted them to fix something they didn't do...only they did. Upon further inspection, they did not use the existing loose wire that we had specifically asked them to, even though he told me over the phone that they had. They ran a new wire from somewhere different and left the loose live wire laying in our crawlspace.
My husband called today to tell him what had been discovered & that he shouldn't talk to people the way he talked to his wife. The owner acted unconcerned & offered no apology. I urge you to use caution with this company, they will not stand behind their work & will treat you rudely!

Carlos was timely and did a great job of working through the issues I had with a circuit in my house. He talked me through what my options were and ultimately as he continued to troubleshoot he was able to find and fix the problem. I will definitely be using Town & Country again although hopefully I won't need to. It was great experience from booking the service, to having the work done, to paying for the service.
