NIC Tree Service gave us a quote that beat another tree service, so we went with them. We asked them to take down 2 trees, one of which was a pine tree, that was massive and as tall as a double story house. The crew took it down on its side what seemed like a blink of an eye. My son and I watched the whole process from start to finish and it was really impressive! My neighbor asked them to cut down a smaller tree while they were here and now he is happy. The team cleared and chipped everything into their trucks and cleaned up any debris. This whole process took 2 hours. I’m really happy with the service I received.

2/14/26 Downers Grove, IL. Nic Trees Fidel's service definitely deserves 5 stars! He climbed up the tree to cut down and remove a huge tree branch that was blown and fallen onto our roof. He worked very skillfully and carefully to section the branch and lowered the trunk pieces onto the ground away from our house. He is very responsive to our call for service, came to price out the job the next day, and had the job done two days later. I highly recommend his service!!!!!

NIC Tree Services was absolutely amazing!!!! Fidel was so kind, patient and understanding with all of my questions! He and his guys were on time and very efficient! They did an excellent job, not only with trimming our 5 large trees, but also with cleaning up all of what was left on the ground! I cannot recommend them enough!!!!! I had a great experience with Nic Tree Services. A partially dead weeping willow fell in my backyard during a storm. I reached out to local services and Fidel with Nic Tree Services was the first to respond and come by. He assessed the fallen tree and told me they could also clean up the mess of broken branches from the nearby crabapple trees- from when the weeping willow fell. I also asked if he could help uproot 2 small bushes (I had already cut them down to the roots) and he said no problem. When I reached out to confirm the job, Fidel responded later that day and locked in an appointment. It took them about an hour and he walked me through showing me the completed job. The prices are extremely reasonable and the service was top notch, friendly, and efficient. I will 100% use their services and recommend them to anyone.

We had a wonderful experience with NIC Tree Service today. When Fidel initially came to assess the situation he was very curious and informative. We threw him a curve today by asking to have another big tree removed besides the ones we initially contracted for. He took extra time to do this too. The cleanup was amazing. I was worried about limbs having to be brought down in my neighbors yard. You would never know they took down such huge limbs in her yard! It looks pristine! Fidel is awesome! He is professional, knowledgeable, and did a fantastic job removing a large rotting tree that had become a hazard. He also trimmed another large tree and made it look fantastic. He had one other crew member assisting him and they did a great job cleaning up the job site and took a lot of pride in the work they performed. He also ground the stump 18 inches below grade. I highly recommend NIC TREE SERVICES for your trimming and removal needs.

What a wonderful experience. Fidel and his team were great. I had a very large tree in my front yard close by the house that developed a split. Fidel is an expert at his craft and was competitive too. They left the yard in better shape than when they started.

Fidel gave us a very fair quote. He & his team removed an approx 35 foot high 4 ft around maple tree from the back corner of our fenced yard, ground the stump & hauled away everything , then filled in with sod. They arrived on time & worked very efficiently. It was fascinating to watch how he cut & lowered the upper branches so they came right down next to the tree! They took steps to protect fence and other landscaping. They even used turf tires on their equipment so when they went back & forth down the side of the house to the back they did not destroy the grass. When they were done you would not have known there was a huge tree there. Thanks for the great work, would call them again it the future for any tree work.

I recently had Fidel, owner of NIC Tree Service, remove a 75 foot Silver Maple tree ( and 2 other smaller trees ) from my back yard. My neighbor recommended Fidel to me; Fidel’s quote included stump removal and was almost 25% lower than another quote. He and his crew did a fantastic job even working around power lines. Fidel is truly a master of his trade. His team cleared all lumber and debris exceptionally well. I highly recommend his services to all without reservation.

Fidel and his crew were excellent to work with. They trimmed and cut various trees in our yard including stump removal and a large tree in preparation for a fence install. Fidel was great in answering any questions to make sure the job was completed to satisfaction. I would highly recommend anyone to use NIC tree services in the Batavia and surrounding areas.

Fidel and his team were incredible. I had a tree split that was going to go either onto my house or power lines. He came out and assessed and him and his crew were so quick and safe and considerate. I couldn’t recommend them enough and will always call Fidel if I need anything in the future.

I had two trees that needed trimming so I called to get a quote. Fidel took my information and came out the next day. He was very attentive to what I wanted done. He was very easy to talk to . Very professional. We settled on a price that was very reasonable.
The first day we had weather to melt the snow, Fidel called to start the job. Him and his crew took less than 2hrs to trim the trees to my satisfaction. They disposed of all the branches and thoroughly cleaned the property. It was a good experience to have Nic Tree Service do the job. I would definitely use them again. Highly Recommended.

NIC Tree Service saved our house! They came the same day we called and removed a tree that split in half from a bad storm. Fidel and his crew were very professional and did a tremendous job. Cleanup was great. Very happy with their service and speed in an emergency situation!
