We needed 2200 sq ft of sod and some serious yard clean up. We had a lot of difficulty finding a company that would respond and work with us. My wife found Rent A Gardener and I am very glad she did! Not only were they responsive, but they worked with us on every detail of our project. We know nothing about landscaping and Rent A Gardner was just what we needed. They listened to what we wanted and then went to work crafting a plan that exceeded our needs all within our budget. I rarely write reviews, but this one was easy. We liked the work so much we hired them back to completely redo our front yard. My husband and I were very pleased with the work Rent A Gardner did for us this season - cleaning up the beds, edging, spreading mulch and laying stepping stones for us. The crew went above and beyond what was expected and the owner always responded quickly to any questions we had.

A short time later, after we had reviewed and accepted the landscape plan, the crew came out to complete all trimming and planting. Update: We have had so many problems with maintaining the bushes that were recommended and planted by rent a Gardener. Finding out that these were not the ideal shrubs for the conditions of our front yard. Lost two of the bushes last year, and my two hydrangea bushes are probably going to be dead soon. I communicated the conditions and our needs. I just felt like the selection of shrubs was not done with our needs in mind. This was also confirmed by an arborist we have been working with. We now have to probably start all over.

We bought a house and needed help with some landscaping. We decided to go with Rent a Gardener because of their fair pricing and customer service. Mathieu was great to work with. The workers who came out to do the work were amazing. They did such a great job and we are very happy. I also appreciated that I could email Matthieu with any questions and concerns and he was really good about getting back to me, I will definitely use the in the future and I highly recommend them.

Rent A Gardener team did a great job on my patio extension. I live in a condo and having a patio extension means that I was very restricted on what I could do since I had to follow the condo rules and regulations. Arun was very accommodating and did sketches and had answers for all my questions and was able to craft an extension that fit in the condo guidelines and was also made me happy. I would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them!

Arun and his team leader Fabian visited our home twice before work began to make sure we were on the same page on what we wanted done.

We had a fabulous experience with Rent a Gardener, from the initial consult to the day-of installation. Arun is a wonderful human being and has the kind of good, kind soul you just want to be around. He is very knowledgeable and gave us some great suggestions when walking around our property, and took into account our budget when planning everything.

On the day of installation, the team worked very hard weeding, mulching and installing the new plants. Everything looked fantastic and I will be calling on this company for yearly/ biannual clean ups from here on out.

I’m completely happy with Rent A Gardener and the transformation of my backyard. They helped us with clean up, trimming and removal, and planted well over a dozen new shrubs I had purchased earlier in the spring. The company was helpful and responsive from my first inquiry to completion. Arun coordinated the project and designer Aarki shared her ideas on how to deploy the new plantings among the established ones, which bushes needed only trimming, and which ones needed to be removed. The team was pleasant and proactive and worked tirelessly on a warm and humid summer day to complete the project by dinner time. Pricing was very reasonable and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I won’t hesitate to call again and highly recommend this company.

They did an amazing job on my very overgrown perennial gardens. It is now beautiful. Arun makes sure the workers pay attention to detail and respectful of the property. Our Rent a Gardener crew did a fantastic job on our front yard! They removed some bushes that were an eyesore and manicured our planting beds. The owner, Arun, takes the time to answer all of your questions, and even came out to our property again after an initial consultation in order to clarify items on the proposal. They came and surveyed our yard to see the size and what needed to be done and then sent us an estimate. The team that came was very good, the yard was cleaned of leaves and other debris, plants were cut back for the winter. They let me know when they arrived and when they were done. I was very happy with the end result and will continue to use their services.

We hired Rent A Gardener for our subdivision front signs and we were very pleased with the results. They were very helpful and professional and were easy to work with. They worked with us to stay within our budget and gave us plantings that were easy to maintain and drought tolerant, as we have no water source at these two locations. They were very responsive with our questions. We would use them again.
