We had Rent A Gardner demo our mess of a backyard, including fence removal, and lay new sod. From our first meeting for a quote to project completion, Aarki and the team were great. Clear communication, competitive pricing, and beautiful work! We love what they did with our yard in just a few days, and we will 100% be coming back to them with more work in the future.

Rent a gardener completed a 3-day project of clearing my backyard of weeds and debris and edging and weeding all of my flower beds in the front yard and remulching everything fantastic job! We couldn't be happier, the workers worked nonstop in the heat and humidity.They were very thorough and complete and, they just did a fantastic job! Very pleased with service and products. Amy and Caroline patiently worked with me to design my new flower bed even as I changed my mind several times. The planting crew did a great job and even cleaned my yard and trimmed my hedges at no additional charge. Now I wait for my new flowers to survive the tremendous heat wave that arrived days after the planting.

I hired Rent a Gardner to clean up, repair, and reseal patio pavers. They did a fantastic job. It did take some time for them to get back to me between my online inquiry and their call back to schedule an estimate visit. However, after that, they were consummate professionals: responsive, on time, and their follow-up and work was great. I appreciated that they wanted to do the job well and right. In comparison, I went with another company and crew (because they were cheaper) to clean up and place new sod on my lawn. That company put me off for 4 weeks (missing the promised “latest date” window, sent folks who had no idea what they had to do, and then came and placed sod the week I said I’d be out of town). I wish I had used Arun and his company for both projects and saved myself the headache. You won’t be disappointed with Rent a Gardner!

The work done was how we requested, and it looks great! Rent A Gardener effectively weeded, edged and mulched all beds, plus took out a nasty buckthorn shrub. They also took out some overgrown ground cover, planted hydrangeas in its place…all in one day! I highly recommend them!

We recently had our landscaping done and it could not have turned out better!! We had got landscaping work done a couple years prior and have tried doing things ourselves as well over the years. We have an odd shaped yard and nothing seemed to ever look good. So many different parts of the yard get some sun and no sun and it hasn’t been easy keeping things alive.

We worked with Amy and Team and they really transformed our yard. They listened to all of our pitfalls and came out to the property a couple times to really inspect get a feel for what we wanted. Instead of just planting things, they laid sod down, where we would not have thought, and reshaped how are yard looked. It looks better than ever and would absolutely recommend Amy to anyone looking to redo their yard!

Rent A Gardner re-landscaped large beds on three sides of our house. Great work, above and beyond. Arun suggested thoughtful changes to the plan that we were delighted with. The crew was dilligent and professional. We're planning another project with Rent A Gardner already!

We had Rent A Gardener for a full day of work on July 7th. There was a crew of 3 for the day (9 hours).

They relaid bricks and added more bricks and gravel to the area at the foundation along the front of our house, so water would flow away from the foundation. They exceeded our expectation!

There was extensive weeding to be done, cutting back of plants and removal of dead plants.

They finished a brick line (that we had started but never finished) down the property line between our house and our neighbor's. You can tell where I ended and they started, as their line was straight and even.

They removed bricks that were bordering our large maple trees and hand edged them beautifully.

They finished off by applying leaf mulch to every garden area and around each maple tree. We were told that leaf mulch is very beneficial to trees and perennials. We ordered extra leaf mulch, that they left in our driveway, so we could apply it to our back gardens.

Fabian was the lead on our 3 man crew and we couldn't be happier with the work that was done!

We met with Amy for our first consultation. It was $48 to meet with her and discuss what we wanted done and get her ideas, but it was subtracted from our estimate, when we decided to have the work done.

The owner Arun came over to discuss my idea for the relaying of the bricks at the foundation of the house. He was easy to talk to and made sure that our plan was implemented perfectly!

From start to finish, we were very pleased! It cost more than we expected, but we were happy with the results!

Overall great experience! Hired them to refresh the landscaping in our front yard. Caroline came up with a great design and was able to reposition some of our good existing bushes which helped from a cost perspective. The crew did an excellent job. One small thing was missed but they came back and got it done after I notified them. Great communication. Pricing was very transparent and seemed fair when you also figure in the design effort. Would definitely recommend

Really pleased with the landscaping job - came out exactly how I wanted it. The job was completed in the time allotted. Workers were great and left the yard looking neat and tidy. I had made a few changes after the initial estimate and Phil was great in working out a more friendly budget and keeping me up to date with emails. Will definitely keep you in mind for future work! :)

Update - unfortunately, issues arose with regard to the new grass seed. It wasn't spread evenly, so large patches of the straw covering was left untreated - resulting in patchy growth. I also got grass growing where I did not want it - in the rocks in border of the house, due to careless distribution of the seed. See pics. I emailed Phil on a Sunday. When I did not hear back, I sent a follow up on Thursday. Phil responded that same day and I was told my email was being forwarded to a manager and that someone would be calling me the next day, Friday, to set up a time for someone to come reseed -- I was told they were busy and were trying to fit me into their schedule. Maybe its just me, but if you complete a job and take the customer's money, you should assign a little more priority if there turns out to be an issue with that work. It is now Monday and I have not heard from Rent A Gardner. Since I don't know if they will ever get back to me, I went out this morning and bought grass seed to reseed the areas myself. Plus I will now have to pay even more money to water these areas of new seed until it gets established, an expense I should not have if the job had been done correctly the first time.

We had a great experience with Rent-A-Gardener! From the initial planning session to the actual planting and clean-up, the team exceeded our expectations. They listened to what we wanted and had great suggestions. Their team has a wonderful ability to visualize the possibilities and make it a reality. We are thrilled with their work and recommend them highly.

Amy did a great job providing input and ideas to a refresh of our existing established garden. When it came time to execute (moving and removing existing plants, shrubs, small trees), Salomon worked hard the entire day and was careful throughout, especially with what was being replanted. Highly rececommend.

Where to even begin?? We made the radical decision to replace our dying Kentucy bluegrass front lawn with natives, perennials and pollinators instead of grass. A friend designed the project & we hired Rent-a-Gardener to carry out the plans. Arun came out to view the scope of work & Aarki supervised the crew on-site as the plants were laid out. The project took the three-man crew three full days to complete. Fabian and his crew worked non-stop, despite the weather being uncooperative.The end result is AMAZING & we couldn't be happier! The quality of materials used is unbeatable. Plants are beautiful and healthy. Compost, soil & mulch were quality. What they called "mulch", I call compost....black gold! Here is a before and an after of the job.
We're already planning a back yard renovation & will call Rent-a-Gardener again!

Arun and his crew were great to work with. He provided a detailed estimate and was communicative throughout the process. The work was done quickly by a friendly team. And they cleaned up after themselves, which is always appreciated. I will definitely reach out for other landscaping projects in the future.

I asked Arun to come back out and give me a quote to make the flower boxes his team installed in the spring more like raised garden beds. Just like the initial work, the work was done quickly, professionally and looks great!.

Amy at Rent A Gardner responded quickly to my inquiry, she came out and reviewed the project. Her team was super careful in our wooded area - they left the small burr oak trees but removed all invasive plants and weeds. The yard has never looked better. I will certainly use them again!
