We recently had a pool heater installed by Chip and Dip. Our project went smoothly and working with Phil was great. As it was a big project, he made sure he answered all of our questions so we could make an informed decision. The guys were polite and did a terrific job! We would definitely recommend Chip & Dip for your pool projects!

We recently purchased a new pool and the new gas heater was installed by Chip and Dip.
Kathy and Phil were both great to work with. They were very helpful and informative throughout the process. Kathy was my lifeline and was very patient with all my questions. Phil and his team did a great job and were very professional. Phil answered all my questions and helped me navigate the whole process for the heater install as well as anything other questions I had about the pool.
We plan on using Chip and Dip for some of their other services such as opening and closing our pool.

On very short notice, Phil and his team fitted our pool with a new pump and heater with accessories. They managed to squeeze us in during a very busy part of the season. Very professional and accessible.

Chad did an awesome job replacing our skimmer gaskets and acknowledged why our heater makes a shrieking noise. We will eventually have them install the correct size gas line from the gas meter directly. Very knowledgeable and professional.

Phil was what we needed this summer. We were new pool owners and completely overwhelmed. We called Phil and he came the next day. He walked us through everything we needed to know about day to day maintenance. He answered all my questions and really put us at ease. We reached out again for him to close up our pool. Phil and his team were amazing!! Phil was a great communicator from day one. Always responded to my texts or calls within an hour. Onsite he didn’t miss a beat. Walked us through everything he was doing at all times. We had a few issues we ran into with other contractors and he helped us with these issues that were not even part of his job! He helped us to remedy our problem and, subsequently, provided support in how to address the copper issue in our pool water due to the leaking heater.

We made a huge decision to get a pool, we had never owned one and was unsure about the process. We decided to go with Chip and Dip and that was definitely the right decision. The owner always communicated with us, answered emails by the next day if not immediately, made sure we were aware of every step and was very easy to work with. Having any kind of construction with people at your house can be hard but they honestly made it so easy! It was an exciting process. They are also really great with design and helping you pick the best for your project when it comes to choosing trees, plants etc. Even though the pool is complete, Phil the owner is so kind and goes above and beyond to help with any questions about the mechanics and maintaining the pool. He doesn’t hesitate to help! I also want to say that the guys that work for him are considerate of your property while they work which is really awesome!!

Dang, these guys are great. We wanted an inground spa to replace our old above ground hot tub, and from start to finish, we were in the best hands. Chip & Dip was the only company that called us back, since we were a smaller project. Phil is a champion, and was so clear and honest and remembered all of the smallest details from our first meeting. We felt so taken care of, and are now enjoying our beautiful new in ground spa! 10 stars. Call them. Do it. DO IT.

I’m not someone who typically leaves bad reviews. In fact, most of my reviews are 5 stars because I genuinely try to support businesses when I can.

I used this company for two seasons and initially had a very positive experience. They were flexible, kind, responsive, and did a beautiful job cleaning the pool and helping with PVC repairs.

Unfortunately, things changed after I discovered an issue with the filter. One day I came home and could barely get it off because it had been forced on so tightly — even my husband struggled to remove it. That’s when the problem started.

I reached out simply asking whether repairs like this were covered or if they carried liability insurance for accidental damage. After that, communication stopped completely.

As a service-based business owner myself, I understand accidents can happen. What matters most is how a company responds when they do. Unfortunately, the damage is significant — around a $400 repair — and the lack of communication has been the most disappointing part.

Had they responded and worked toward a resolution, I would have continued using them and would not be leaving this review. But the complete lack of response leaves me concerned about how similar situations may be handled for future customers.
