I called Moonscape Lighting late in November for Christmas lights on my house. I assumed since it was so late in the season, I would be looking at lights for next Christmas, but after speaking to Mark from Moonscape he told me the lights could go up THIS YEAR if I didn’t mind them being placed the 2nd week in December. NO PROBLEM!! Mark was so easy to work with and so accommodating, it was such a great experience, no to mention my house looked FABULOUS!! Worth every penny to me. Thank you Mark and Moonscape! Definitely going to use them for my lighting needs in the spring!!

We recently worked with Moonscape to update our landscape lighting, and the experience exceeded our expectations. From the initial consultation to the final installation, the team was professional, responsive, and detail-oriented.

Their design recommendations were not only creative but also practical, enhancing the beauty and safety of our outdoor spaces. The lighting highlights our home’s architecture and landscaping in a truly stunning way.

The installation process was efficient and minimally disruptive, and the team left everything clean and tidy. We’ve received so many compliments from neighbors and guests.

Highly recommend Moonscape to anyone looking to elevate their outdoor space with high-quality, thoughtfully designed lighting.

Everyone that now comes to our home after 6:00pm is in awe of the artist glow around the house , the pool and the putting green. Moonscape was very reasonably priced and came back for touch ups quickly. It makes a Huge difference to the feel of our home at night!! Highly Revommend!

We moved into a home in Glen Ellyn recently with a beautifully landscaped and wooded back yard. We love fire pits and enjoy entertaining around the fire. This tree line seemed to call out for an elegant lightscape so we started comparing companies and reading reviews. We narrowed our options down to two companies and both came out to make a plan and give us a quote. Mark at Moonscape Illumination had a creative vision while the other company just wanted to put up lights around the yard. Moonscape has a unique advantage in they add “moon lights” high up in the trees to complement the up lighting. The moon lights mirror what a clear night sky with a bright, full moon might look like in your yard. While the price was more than we had budgeted, we chose Moonscape because of their vision and their technology inspired us. Within two weeks the lights were installed. Everything runs off the Kasa app on our phones, giving us complete and convenient control. We were a little worried about having too much light, because we like smooth lighting, not harsh, and we didn’t want to annoy our neighbors. The Kasa app allows us to choose various light levels, from 25%, 50%, 75% or 100%. We like 50% (see pictures). The technicians who installed the system were very professional and careful with our landscaping. They buried the wires without disturbing the plants and treated our trees with precise caution. Now our yard looks better than Ravinia! The moon lights cast peaceful shadows while the uplights reflect the beauty of the canopy. We also like the added security the lights bring to our backyard. We highly recommend Moonscape Illumination. If you have the budget, they will enhance the value of your home and give you magnificent beauty after dark.

Mark and his team were extremely helpful! They came out and helped with some landscape lights but also walked me through on what they were doing, incase any issue came up again so that I could easily fix these myself. Upon looking at the rest of the yard, Mark made some amazing recommendations and will be working with Moonscape to illuminate some other areas of my yard. Felt more than a service call as they were geniunely interested in helping me out, especially with the recommendations!

Mark and his team did an amazing job! He worked with us on creating a plan, communicated throughout, and worked seamlessly with our landscape team. The end result is amazing. This lighting has been the talk of the neighborhood. It's really cool and highlights all of your trees and landscaping. Highly recommend!

I met with Mark initially. He had great ideas, proposed a plan and reasonable price. His team were prompt, friendly and executed the plan flawlessly. Also had Moonscape light a maybe 50’ evergreen for Christmas. Everything he’s done in our yard is awesome.

Reached out about concrete for expanding a front porch, new stoop and driveway. Responded back quickly and came out to quote us right away. Was the best price form the other quotes we got. Explained the process and helped with getting a permit for it. Would use again for other concrete needs.

Tom was outstanding and helpful. We had a narrow window of time and needed a professional quote. He was able to accommodate our schedule and provide a comprehensive solution. I would definitely recommend his services to others.

Tom and his crew were awesome. We needed our stoop and sidewalk to the driveway replaced. They did a terrific job. It looks fabulous, and they had competitive pricing.

Had Sennstrom install a stamped concrete patio in 2012. It still looks brand new in 2024. I hired them to install a new concrete driveway this year. Great experience both times.

The team at Sennstrom did an incredible job of replacing my concrete driveway. They were professional and would recommend them to anyone. I’m so pleased with their work, would hire them again in a heartbeat! The absolute best people who did the best work.

We had a large front porch stoop (with a roof overhang) replaced by Concrete by Sennstrom. They did an excellent high quality job. Everything from the estimation and communication to the work crew was very professional. They are very experienced with skilled workers who really know what they are doing. We are very happy with the results and would definitely use them again.

Such a great experience working with Jonathan and his team. He was quick to respond, talked through the entire process step-by-step and even visited my home multiple times. We replaced and leveled 6 slabs of sidewalk and part of our driveway. Workers showed up on-time, very professional and did great quality work. Overall, I am very impressed and will definitely use them again. Highly, highly recommend!!!

I hired Sennstrom to replace my driveway that slanted towards the house while also replacing a set of old front entry steps that had sunk into a slant a, turning them 90 degrees and building a walkway adjacent to the driveway to the sidewalk. Once scheduled, the project took about 3 days from tear out to completion. They crew was easy to work with, clear about what they were doing and why. The new driveway is beautiful with the correct grading away from the house. Totally professional workmanship. Could not be happier.

Leaving a review for a relative:

Work completed: Partial garage floor and complete walkway and porch.

Many thanks to Jonathan, Santiago and the entire Sennstrom crew. High quality work done efficiently. The crew was polite, friendly and proudly paid attention to detail. We would highly recommend!

I must say, this company is one of the most professional and attention detail companies I have ever subcontracted. Not only that, Jonathan, the lead foreman and his team were always on time and kept us informed on process. When the job was complete, he also informed us on the curing process and what to expect. We went with a California finish on the driveway and the front walk ways with a pebbled colored stained finish which looks amazing! My driveway, apron, and walkways are absolute flawless. If you want quality, commitment, honesty, experience and to know the job will get done with no headaches, I would highly recommend this 5 star company. Thanks again Jonathan and team for a great experience!!!!!

We had our front stoop, steps and sidewalk replaced by Concrete by Sennstrom in October of 2025.

From the moment I met Jonathan we had a great experience, he was flexible and answered any text promptly. The communication was excellent throughout the project and their foreman, Santiago was knowledgeable, accommodating and professional as was their entire team. They worked fast, but made sure we knew what was being done every step of the way. We are very pleased with the experience as well as the end result.

I would definitely recommend Concrete by Sennstrom. Thank you Jonathan, Santiago and team!
