I had a few problems with this company, all with the dispatch section. First I asked for a quote to replace an outlet. They could not provide a quote to replace an outlet, because “the technician had to see it.” Second, I made an appointment a few days in advance and they gave me a window from 9am-11am. I received a follow up email stating that the window was from 9am-1pm. When I called to confirm, I was told that they could not change that. It remained 9am-1pm. They called me the day of my appointment to let me know that they had to reschedule to a different day because the previous job ran longer than expected. I agreed to reschedule. I asked if I would be the first stop and if the technician could be there at 9am. I was told that the technician would be there promptly at 9am. They day of the following appointment I called at 8:45 to confirm my 9am appointment. The dispatcher told me they were running 30 minutes late. Cut to the end, they arrived at 10:00. I explained they would only replace an outlet. They pulled out a laminated sheet to show me the price. This is when I asked them to leave. I could have been given this set price by the dispatcher, but I wasn’t. The technician had not inspected anything when he handed me the sheet. After researching the price later, I admit it was comparable to other companies price wise. I felt like the situation could have been handled better with upfront pricing and better scheduling. In the end, I paid about the same price to a different company that showed up on time and gave me accurate pricing up front.
