Unable to answer basic size questions because they are not in warehouse to be able to measure items. 2 plus years later still remote. Get back in the warehouse so you can service potential customers.

This company lists items as "in stock" that aren't. Two weeks later, I am told by customer service that the pump is backordered and there's nothing they can do.

Sold product that doesn't work, no text notifications on promised products, custemer service unwilling to return product. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Bought a Basement Watchdog combination backup sump pump and primary pump from them when I build my new house. So far, it's survived multiple floods. Product and web store is awesome.

Both Brittany and Suzy were extremely helpful in taking care of a shipping issue I had. They were all over it and got it resolved within a few hours. Fantastic customer service!

Don't waste your time. They are selling products they don't have in stock. They double charged for my order saying I ordered the product twice which I did not. My order will not be shipped for a month if I receive it at all. Do not use this company.

I needed to install a sump pump for my basement. From my initial contact through placing my order these guys, in particular Billie and Liam, were just awesome, patiently answering my questions, making suggestions, and offering advice re what was needed above just buying a pump from them. I recommend the highly if needing help with anything to do with sump pumps!

If you have damage during shipment - you're in trouble. Horrible service, email process only, slow resolution. I got the replacement piece from the manufacturer for free. Would have taken over a week to get a $5 piece from them damaged in shipping.

After buying many pumps from this company I had a switch go bad on a Basement Watchdog pump after just two months. When I called for replacement of the switch Sump Pumps Direct gave me another number to call for warranty service. This company refused to help in any way. Do not buy from this company.

The return process was awful. Took like 3 weeks to resolve, Sump Pumps Direct required me to buy twice to get a working pump and gave me a lot of anxiety that the refund might not even occur. It worked out in the end, but it was one of the worst return processes I've been involved in, ever. Take pictures for them like a crime scene investigator after the part arrives broken, then wait while they deliberate for weeks with no communication. BAD.

Called to order 2 pumps and other misc needs for our church to pick up cause there location is about 10 miles from our location. Was told I could not pick up items cause they suspended customer pick ups but I could order and maybe receive items in a week or so. I do appreciate there being safe but if food, auto parts, laundry etc businesses can handle door service you would think they would have figured something out by now. Oh well lesson learned

I ordered a battery backup for my sump pump, had a problem with delivery (parts were missing). I e-mailed sumppumps direct and they got back to me right away and received the missing parts in a couple of days. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Hooked up everything and it all works to keep my wife quite.

Ordered a pump but got a different pump. Not sure who's mistake it was. Arranged to return it and get the one I had originally wanted. All OK so far since I am not sure what the original screwup was. My problem is that I then got stuck with a $50 shipping fee, their original shipping fee ($15) and a $40 something restocking fee for a pump that was never removed from its original shipping box. It is this restocking fee that I have a real problem with.

We had a wonderful experience with Sump Pumps Direct. We were frustrated and confused regarding what pumps we needed for a rental home that we own. The home seems to be located above an underground water spring, The pumps that were in there were not working well. Product specialist, Jim, spent a half hour on the phone with us listening to our dilemma. He was so knowledgeable. He told us what he felt the problem was with the pumps that we were using. We followed his recommendations. The shipping process was fast. The pumps that Jim recommended are working great for our unique situation. We will never buy from anyone else!

Never received item I called customer service and after 45 minutes on hold she confirmed my item was probably lost. I was told I would get a call back with a resolution, no one called back! Nothing. I contacted PayPal and opened a case sump pump direct didn’t even answer PayPal. I got my money back from PayPal after wasting a month waiting and sump pump direct is no where to be found. Beware if your order gets lost or broken you’re on your own. Never will I deal with a company like this again.

I had no knowledge whatsoever about sump pumps, so when ours went out (during a thunderstorm of course ) I went online for prices and reviews. I came across Sump Pumps Direct and noticed the great prices and no tax or shipping fees! I read the customer reviews and that was enough to convinced me to give them a try. I still was not sure what type of pump I needed. I decided to call and was lucky enough to be connected with Rhonda. She was so helpful. She answered all my questions and found me the right sump pump for my situation. Thank you so much Rhonda! So in the end, I saved money, got a much better system than the big box stores offered, received great customer service and my system was delivered to my door (no tax or shipping fees) in 2 days! What more could you want?

Watch out! Their website will suggest items to add to your cart that don’t fit the equipment you order. Then they’ll give you hard time to return and charge you return fees!
This outfit has no business being in e-commerce. They don’t get the basic concept that people should be able to trust that they’ll get what they order and the seller will stand behind it. Advise: keep away!

Horrible customer service! I should've listened to these other bad reviews!!! I ordered a riser box and lid, using their specifications listed online. The job was delayed, so when we started the job and realized that the inside diameter of the riser box was not as specified, it was not going to work. When I called customer service they said I was outside the 30 day return window, and refused to do anything, even an exchange for the right size box. I STRONGLY advise against using this company even when you think you're ordering something simple like a freaking plastic box. Don't trust their specifications listed online! Terrible company!

I purchased a backup sump pump and an AGM battery. They sent me the pump but I did not receive the $300 battery. They have no clue about the battery but just told me to wait a few days. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company.
