Had a terrible experience with this company.

I would never hire this company! I live on Schubert in Glendale Hts. They have had our street torn up for 2.5 months now and still aren't close to being done! The village hired them because they had the cheapest price and it is clear why. They replaced the water main and storm sewers. While digging they hit the gas line twice, the old water main and the sewer line. They said it would be done in 2 months. They already had 9 working days where no one was on the street doing any work at all. And our street has been torn up this whole time creating a dust cloud every time a car drives by. And to make it worse they convinced the village to only replace half the street. Even tho their heavy trucks have been driving on it and they scrape the pavement with their tractors. The whole street is a mess and looks terrible. If you are hiring them because they are the cheapest... You get what you pay for!

Spoke w/ the office girl Clarissa & quickly got scheduled. Dale was nice, friendly & very respectful of my home. Test was quickly done in about 10 minutes. Would recommend to all my neighbors.

Had them sent by my sewer line warranty company. They got here and were very pleasant people, plumber and his assistant. However I needed to run a lot of water to prove that the line was clogged. As my basement toilet was overflowing from flowing water, I cleaned it up and the plumber was talking on the phone with his boss and his assistant was no where to be found. They then told me they could not unclog my sewer line because I needed a $2500 clean out installed and they could not help. They said that my floor-valve would be damaged if they tried anything other than first installing the $2500 clean out. I called another plumber who came and unclogged the line for $70 in 30 minutes and he did not overflow my toilet and was able to do it easily thru that floor valve (he even said these floor valves serve as a perfectly fine clean out point). They didn't seem dishonest, so I don't feel they were trying to scam me, but they definitely recommended I spend $2500 for no reason and did not fix my problem.

Amazing service from Aquaflow. The technician was quick, courteous and cared about my house. He laid down foam flooring to protect my wood floor and my cabinets. He also taught me how to care for my kitchen drains to prevent back up in the future.

We had this company come out through our home warranty. Bo made it very clear that he is not paid enough and did not want the work. He had told us during first visit on 10/11 that repairs would not be covered under warranty which is not true and unknown as nothing has even been submitted. We had him scheduled to come out again to finish his work. He told me that the wall had to be opened and we would not sit and wait for us to open the wall because he is not paid enough to do that. Completely rude and unprofessional. Based off of previous reviews it appears evident they will do anything to avoid warranty repairs.

We had Tony come in to look at the kitchen and bathroom sinks. Kitchen wasn't even covered but he tightened it up no problem. Let us know what we needed to do (simple stuff) and was very friendly.
    In and out quick.
    Great experience

Jonathon Cisneros and Bill did amazing work. Both men were knowledgeable, informative and timely. I had 5 issues! All issues resolved, and very neat work. I highly recommend AquaFlow Plumbing, along with Bill and Jonathan for any of your plumbing needs.

The service was good in the past, my last 3 contacts have been poor. Most recent replaced a garbage disposal which lasted 6 months and wanted to charge to come back out replace it, potential cost $385. I would have to wait until they get reimbursed from the manufacturer. Office manager did not know how the service works when it comes to warranty. Safe your money.

Leaking, broken kitchen faucet was replaced with a much better one by Moen. 2 plumbers arrived on time, diagnosed what the problem was, gave me viable options. Excellent quality faucet, expertly and promptly installed, very professional and courteous, answered all of my questions, and explained how to use the new faucet properly. You cannot beat the satisfaction of work that is properly done using top quality materials and products. Highly recommend.

My experience was a nightmare. The technician I had was Ken. The first time out, he did NOT unclog my bathroom drain. He said he need to come back after I remove the sink and the vanity so he could get into the wall. I had the sink and vanity removed the next day and he came back out the day after. While unclogging my sink, he clogged my bathtub. And, then he could not unclog the bathtub. He told me that he had to come back on Monday because he had other appointments to finish and he couldn't speak to supervisor until then anyway. This would have been the third appointment and he wanted me to wait three more days over the weekend before any more attempts to unclog the tub that he clogged. So, I called another plumbing company and they came out the same day and they had my tub flowing within 15 minutes. So, Ken had me spend more money than necessary. I would not recommend Aqua Flow to my worst enemy.

Made an appointment and told the office I work from home and would literally be on calls all day, but would be there. The day of the appointment, the tech called and left a vm when I was on a call. I called him back and he was extremely rude and said “you didn’t answer the call, so I didn’t go to your house. If you want me to come another day, you need to call and schedule another appointment. I’m not driving back for a free estimate” wow. I don’t care how good of a plumber he is, you don’t talk to customers like that. I’m sure I’m not the first and won’t be the last they lose because of that tech.

The Serviceman Tony was very nice. He actually got to my place 2 hrs quicker than another company. I got a good deal and didn't feel like I was being taken for a ride. Just wanted you to know Tony that your are appreciated.

They are arrogant, rude and will lie, to the warranty company. Must be a family owned business because what the techs say is gospel. I ended my contract with the warranty company because of their lies. Even went to BB Bureau. I will never recommend. I offered to pay out of my own pocket for a rodding the tech refused then said that I asked him to charge the warranty company which was s lie. So I just decided to ask a stranger to commit fraud really they are not a good honest company. Needless to say another company fixed my issue I paid that company over 6 thousand dollars for the repairs so why would I need to commit fraud for a couple of hundred dollars.

I highly recommend this service! Tony was really nice, came on time, and quickly fixed a VERY clogged sink within an hour. He was communicative about the issue and gave us some tips for maintenance after his fix. We're very pleased.

Ken came out & fixed my sewer backup in less than an hour. He arrived exactly when he said he would & went right to work. He knew exactly what to do. I felt totally confident in his skills as a plumber & will definitely call Aqua Flow next time.

I had the sewer line replaced and capped. In the past the plumber would have to come indoors and remove the toilet but this will change with repairs being outdoors. The guys came early and were very professional and thorough. I’m happy with the work. No more removing the toilet.

2/16/23: Was just contacted by a rep for Aqua Flow. Was connected to them via American Water Resources' Sewer Line Protection program. We have a backed up and charged drain line from our cleanout to the sewer. First noticed in November and rented an auger to clean the line, pulled back tree roots and the water flowed a bit better than before. I had Perfect Home Services come out this past Saturday (2/11/23) and was quoted $30k and 1-week to dig up the entire drain line and replace it, the stack, and saw cut the concrete basement floor to install PVC. Perfect Home Services states that the line is charged, stack is crooked, stack has pinholes leaking waste, foundation walls are cracked due to sinkage of the drain, parts of the yard are sinking from the drain's leakage in the yard. Quoted for 150ft of PVC. I'm hoping to validate their findings with Aqua Flow and get a competitive quote that our insurance through AWR will cover. I will update this review as the process progresses. As of now, I received a call within 10 minutes of filing our claim on AWR's support line and they set up an appointment for tomorrow between 12p and 4p.

Water heater pilot would not stay lit after nicor shut off gas for meter work.
Nicor came out tied to light and said we needed a new part. Called our home solution warranty company and they hooked us up with this company. Nice man came to look at it. Lit pilot and left. Was literally in my house for 5 min. Later that morning it went out again. Called to get him back and were told “we are done coming to your house, you need a new water heater” and quoted us $2500.
Done coming to my house after 1 5minute visit which her didn’t even look at out, just lit it and left. Even tipped him $20 for coming so fast! What a joke!
Update called back homesolutions warranty and choose Center Guard plumbing and they came out next day, said it just needed a new burner assembly. Not a new $2500 water heater! Works perfect!

My piece of advice with this business is to avoid them at all costs.

I had Aqua Flow assigned to me by my home warranty company. They came out on 10/13/17 to assess the problem. I had a leaking drum trap that needed to be replaced. After the technician came out it took two weeks for the company to submit the proposal to the warranty company. I did not receive the proposal from the plumbers until about a month later, despite many follow up calls. Once I did get the proposal I saw that the plumbing company grossly over-inflated the scope of work. I tried calling the company to clarify the scope and discuss why it was different than what the technician had said on site, but was never allowed to speak with the estimator or technician. Ultimately, Aqua Flow decided that it was not worth there time if they could not put $950 worth of extras onto a $300 job. This process took me 2 months to resolve. I hired another plumbing company, they came out two days later and replaced the drum trap in less than 2 hours for $290. I would strongly recommend avoiding this company, there are much better service providers out there.
