When my dryer went out, I knew that the cost might be expensive to repair, but I wanted to see what component went out to be sure in my decision. With that, I knew I might have to take a financial loss on someone coming out to diagnose the problem, so with every business I called I asked specifically how much it would be to send a technician out to diagnose the issue. Here I was quoted $75.

Once the technician arrived they did a great job, but ultimately I decided it would be more cost effective to replace the appliance. I was ready to pay, but was then told a price double what I was expecting. I told the tech that I specifically asked about diagnostic pricing because I knew there was a chance I may go with replacing depending on the part cost, and I was told that the office charges $75 in addition to a separate $75 cost, for a total of $150.

Though I'm happy with the technician and am sure the service would have been performed to my satisfaction, I am not happy with a bill double what I was expecting. While the other reviews regarding the overall service are accurate, I am displeased because I asked several questions knowing that I would potentially be losing out on more money for certainty in my decision.

The technician ultimately reduced my cost by $25 which was helpful, but the principle of it did not leave a good impression.

This company has an amazing response time. Their technician arrived the same day and expertly repaired my fridge that wasn’t cooling.
