These days it’s daunting to find a company that you can trust to do the work that they’ve promised and it being done well. I have great neighbors and they indirectly placed me in the capable hands of Chimney USA. Thank goodness. Our water heater couldn’t function without a cleaned chimney flue. The Chimney USA team accommodated us with short notice, sweeped (NPI) in and got the job done in less than two hours. Provided pictures of the clogging issues and their completed work. 5-star rating for sure. We fully intend to employ them for other needed repairs. Chimney USA Inc. was great. After an issue with our chimney I contacted them. They kept in informed with what the problems were and what needed to be repaired. I got was provided with before and after pictures at each stage. I would highly recommend Chimney USA Inc.

I was very fortunate to find this company on a Saturday after we detected a slight carbon monoxide leak due to a new water heater being installed. The owner, Mirna, worked hard to get us on the schedule and personally came out on Fathers Day with her technician, Raphael, who worked hard to resolve our issue and get us hot water that same day. Within hours, our chimney looked like new and the work was meticulously completed. Chimney USA, Inc. is a family owned business who is extremely honest, fair and reasonable. Mirna explained each step of the process, reassured us along the way and wrote out a very detailed paper estimate and receipt. They also take photos and videos in real time so you can see the actual work being done on the roof. We were beyond pleased and I highly recommend this company. I was extremely happy with the work of Mirna and her team. I needed a full rebuild of my boiler chimney from the roofline up, in addition to a new stainless steel liner. Unlike the other firms who gave me estimates, Chimney USA proposed to try to open a second, abandoned flue in the chimney, which would allow them to eliminate an awkward length of duct that ran across the landing of my basement stairs. They succeeded in doing this, which involved clearing substantial debris and rubble from the abandoned flue. When they were done, they left the roof, sideyard, and basement stairs cleaner than they were before they started.

I used Chimney USA before, but this service was for an issue previously identified.
We needed the old chimney removed and rebuilt, with the liner and cap reinstalled as needed and the chimney cleaned.
Mirna scheduled the appointment and her guys arrived on time. They quickly assessed the job and started work.
The old chimney was removed and a new chimney built. The liner and cap were refitted and all debris was removed. The chimney then received its annual clean sweep and checkup.
I am absolutely pleased with this service and the technicians. Everyone is respectful, competent and professional in their service delivery.
I found their pricing to be competitive with other estimates. And, the price is the price.

We needed tuckpointing work done on the front of our home, as well as major chimney work. Rafael and his team did an amazing job. He clearly explained every step of the project and showed us before and after pictures. They took precautions to minimize dust exposure for all work done inside our house. Our 30-year old chimney liner needed to be replaced, so they installed a new liner and put in a crown. We are very happy with Mirna and her team and highly recommend them for all chimney and tuckpointing work.

I DO NOT recommend Chimney USA. Their prices are doubled that of their competitors. They ripped out a perfectly good chimney liner, they did not put one back in the chimney (which is against code) of a furnance that was only 10 years old, and they charged me almost $1500.00. They said they removed debris from the chimney. I never saw what they removed except old newspaper that was probably used for insulation from the previous installer. They gave me an estimate of over $3600.00 to put the liner back in with minor cosmetic improvements to the outside of the chimney. They removed a perfectly good Tee that connected the water heater and furnace together with two separate temporary pipes going into the old piping entryway. Then they were going to come back and replace it with a permanent Wye connector in the new proposal (which would never have fit into the opening). The list goes on. The bottom line is they left my elderly father's chimney in a worst condition than how they found it! This was a scam.

The first two pictures are what they pulled out of my Dad's chimney which they did not replace. The last two pictures are what a bad liner looks like...not mine. what Chimney USA did. The first (of the last set of pictures) is what I paid another company to undo Chimney USA's sloppy work. The new chimney company's work was not only aesthetically better looking and professsionally done they also restored it to the way it was originally.They put the "T" connector back in and all for less than what Chimney USA charged me. The new chimney company even gave me a lifetime guarantee on all the work provided and a coupon off the work they did. People, please do you homework. This is what happens when you don't.
