Lumber would not take my call. They put me on hold and eventually hung up on me.

It's Christmas Eve, and the Hot Water Heater has gone out to the second & third floor tenants. We turned to Home Depot and these guys were GREAT! Home Depot sent Kevin Loden & Tim Joiner from DRF. They drained the old Hot Water Heater and put it in the alley, corrected the old (really old) plumbing, rebuilt the duct work, installed the new Hot Water Heater, checked out the other two Hot Water Heaters and explained how everything worked. We have perfect hot water on every floor on CHRISTMAS EVE!!!

I bought a beautiful orchid 2 weeks ago, unfortunately after 3 days home it started to die. I have checked the flower snd see the center was full of water and mold. The staff members must know how to watering an orchid. watering an orchid means killing her if they don’t avoid to put water on the plant. The water needs to put at the border of the vase not on the plant, not on the center of the orchid. I would ask Home Depot to carefully instruct their staff. Very sad and disappointing.

Thanks for the answer but the staff should be trained before start selling something.
As a customer I would avoid see a beautiful orchid died in some days and to spend money just to see it died.
It is hard care of orchids but it is not mandatory sell orchids in their Home Depot store !

I had a first phone meeting with the cabinet replacement team for Chicago Lincoln Square neighborhood. The lady was awesome! But we realized I need the cabinet refacing team. I set a meeting with the cabinet refacing solution in Chicago. I was told I had to be on-site so I bought a plane ticket then FLEW from Denver to Chicago for the first meeting with Kemp. We spent 2-3 hrs designing my kitchen. I took pictures of my final choices. He said he would call me on Monday and send the quote. No quote, no call. On Friday, I called Home Depot. Kemp then called. I emailed him and said please send the quote. He sent the quote. Half the selections were wrong. I requested he send the corrected quote and sent him pictures of my final choices. He kept calling but no quote nor any emails were sent. I kept emailing as I was super busy at work and traveling and asked he just send the updated quote. I suggested he could send me pictures of the samples we reviewed on site if he was not sure what choices my pictures showed. Still nothing sent, no email nor updated quote. Then, Kemp's boss, Don Clements called me. He said he "heard I was not connecting with Kemp". He said, Kemp was new and was assigning Celina. That seemed ok. But he also said, the promo was "going away" Sunday and that I "had to have a call with her". I guess it's their way of ensuring they can "close the deal" as a phone meeting was not going to do anything more than emails would. Celina (Garcia?) t called me; we spoke and set app't. I sent her my choices for countertop, backsplash and cabinets. She said she could get the measurements from Kemp. She sent me pictures back that were not my choices again She said she did not have enough to do a quote. I said I had already spent so much time with her and her colleagues and was really tired after a long week (it was getting late on a Friday), could she confirm my choices (sent them again) and that is was better for me if we do this on email. She texted me saying she was so busy. I said I really would like to do this over email. She then texted me: "You are unpleasant". No quote. I emailed Don her response to me and asked if someone could please send me the quote. No response Friday, Saturday or Sunday. It's 3 days later, Monday, no response, no quote. I looked at Home Depot's site and they're advertising a new promo. I cannot believe I wasted 3 weeks trying to simply get a quote for countertop, backsplash, cabinets and a sink for which I sent pictures of my choices 3 times. And now I am back at square 1. Do not waste your time. Go to a reputable contractor or company. Note: I have shopped at Home Depot for 30 yrs. This set of interactions was inexcusable.

I’ve had a very pleasant experience with Johan. He is extremely professional and kind. The quality of work is outstanding. Prices are very reasonable. What I like the most about this company is how punctual they are. They always meet deadlines. I would strongly recommend this company for any type of home improvements.

Johan refinished my kitchen floor.
He is super friendly and responsive. Came on time, explained honestly what can and can't be done. He finished the work exactly as he predicted by 4PM, left the kitchen spotless and the floor sparkling. He also did all the floors under the applicances, and made sure to send me photos to prove it! I would highly recommend him.

My floors look amazing. I called Johan last week and he was at my condo within 30 minutes to take measurements; quoted me a number on the spot that we agreed to. His crew of 2 came the following week (promptly at 8am) and they finished the refinishing/repair in ONE DAY. I'm really blown away by the results. Pretty sure no one has conditioned these floors since original construction 17 years ago. There were areas where the varnish was completely worn off; one rotted gnarly blackened area that has irked me since I moved in 5 years ago. It's all perfect now. We had one mishap where my oven drawer got scratched, but we settled that up equitably and Johan even offered to find the replacement part for me. He has been extremely responsive throughout. I'm very happy with the quality of the work, the cost, and the turnaround time.

I am very pleased with the service provided by this team. They completed three small projects for us and were incredibly accommodating with our schedule. The match and patch job around the fireplace was particularly impressive, as they seamlessly matched the new flooring to the existing floor after the fireplace rebuild.

Johan and his team did a great job on refinishing our floors. We had a couple pieces of furniture in our place that they were able to move and work around, and they also handled moving our appliances. They worked quickly and efficiently, and the price was fair. The floors turned out great.

Johan and his crew got the job done in half the time expected! He was very communicative, sent pictures throughout the job and sealed off rooms/cleaned up after the job was done. Would definitely recommend and hire again.

Johan and his team were fantastic to work with! They finished 1,000sq feet of sanding and sealing in just two days, and kept the place spotless while doing it. Great price and always called me right back. Highly recommend!

We came across Johan’s business and his 5 star google reviews when our search through the National Certified Hardwood Floor Association came up empty. Several contractors refused to do estimates, while others insisted the entire condo would have to be refinished when only one room was scratched. Johan agreed to come by for an estimate, and also promised he could perfectly match the refinished room to the hallways and remaining condo. From the very beginning, Johan was very professional and responsive. He was able to expedite getting us in, and even did so on a Sunday so it wouldn’t interfere with my work schedule. He also immediately provided a COI upon request and initiated sending directly to our management company. The day of the job, he arrived exactly at 8:30am, began setup, then reviewed oil vs water based and why he was sure it was oil based. By noon, the room was sanded and the first coat of varnish on. He gave me plenty of time to leave the condo to allow for ventilation, and clearly explained 30 min drying, buffing then one final coat of varnish. He finished the entire project by 1pm and it was seamless. The color match is perfect. If you’ve ever had hardwood floor that you care for, you know how important it is to keep them looking great. Not sure if the scratch is visible in the picture, but will include before and after photos. I am confident in Johan’s expertise, and highly recommend him for any hardwood floor project! Johan was amazing! He did a beautiful job restoring the floors in our 100yr old home. He was so fast and efficient- done in 2 days. He’s so friendly and such a hard worker. He helped maintain the beauty and integrity of the original kitchen flooring and restored where we removed a wall. The floors are gleaming and stunning. We are so happy and can’t recommend him enough :)

Johan and Julio worked very hard over a few days to repair a section of my floor, re-sand and re-stain the entire apartment and stairs. They even moved the furniture around themselves. The floors turned out great (see pics) - they did an excellent job at a reasonable price, and even painted samples of different colors on so I could choose. I have red brazilian cherry floors and went with Slate color over a dark color, which still took out a lot of the redness without making the rooms too dark.
