Alejandro and his team are great! They removed a ton of old roots and amended the soil in our yard, and planted a bunch of new trees. They’re prompt and fast and thorough AND totally pleasant to work with! I’m planning to do pavers with them in the spring.

Alejandro and his crew did a fantastic job! Absolutely beautiful landscaping. Everything we asked they went above and beyond and the price is phenomenal. I wouldn't recommend anyone else for landscaping on the south side!

Very ignorant over the phone! The guy even went as far as hanging up on me! Was going to spend 4 digits a month with them! They didn't want the service i guess!

Apparently the Speedy Gonzalez landscaping business runs their business illegally for on August 16th, 2016 the owner of Speedy Gonzales landscaping business was driving his truck which is a semi and when it doesn't have a trailer it's called a bobtail he was driving his bobtail without any mud flaps which is a state law that is required it's to prevent rocks from kicking up and hitting windshield which is exactly what happened he kicked up a rock and hit my windshield and it broke my windshield I called his number and he says he refuses to do anything said I can do whatever I have to do the company he leases from ekccc refuses to give me any information to help me as far as like they're insurance information which is apparently why this guy isn't getting back to me there's apparently something going on that's not right or else he would get in touch with me so this is going to be turning into a state police report along with a safety report sent to Dan Meyer at the Federal Motor Carrier safety administration and will they will be completely be audited and hopefully they will lose their business license over this, because of your not keeping up your trucks then what else is going on.

As a subcontractor of speedy Gonzales, and business owner, I've been waiting over a year to be paid for the last jobs we did for them. We've tried calling, texting and emailing...with no response. And nobody will return our messages. It appears I will have to take legal action as a final option in order to get paid.

Stay away I would not recommend this company to no one

This company deserve no stars period.

Sean diagnosed a grub problem in our yard, he treated it, sodded it and fertilized entire lawn. He was helpful, reasonably priced and attentive, he checked a week later to see how the sod was taking and responded immediately when we had questions.

After conducting an extensive search to find a good snow removal company, I thought I had found a great one at a reasonable price (or so I thought). Our initial conversations over the phone and email were extensive as we discussed details regarding a four month contract. John, the owner, would provide different prices at different times. I should have taken this as a sign to run! I stood with this company for whatever reason. When I spoke with him, he was uneasy and lacked professionalism.

After the contacts were signed and snow began to fall, John became the most difficult person to reach. Emailed, text, and called on numerous occasions before I even received a half-ass response. His reviews on Yelp provided me some insight, but his HomeAdvisor reviews fared much better. Needless to say, his Yelp reviews are accurate.

When the job was done, it was half ass (not all of the now was cleared, not enough salt was laid, staircases were not cleared, and much of the snow had turned to ice! During larger snowfalls, good luck reaching this guy. I would call, reach his voicemail, and it would be full. And his helpers, Clyde, fared no better. They use a residential snow blower and tried to remove snow from a four building parking lot. Please save yourself some money and pay for a real company that will actually provide customer service.

Bad business. Need to be reported. Do not hire them for anything. Money hungry and unprofessional. You will be out of more money After they mess up your lawn. They don't deserve a half of star. He tried to overcharge me, he half did the job and he didn't have right equipment. He had no HELP And he also put all his grass off his truck inside my city of Chicago garbage cans. So he definetly don't care about his customers.

Company definitely doesn’t deserve any stars after trying to give me a quote over the phone from pictures seen on Google. I suggested that Sean come see the property so that he could see the condition it was in and give me an accurate price which he did. We went through this yard front to back step-by-step explaining exactly what I wanted done he gave me a price and I agree and that was the reason I wanted him to see the property so he can understand exactly what I want it done, I literally only got it about 60% of the job that was explain to him and to add injury to insult. He said he be done three times and did not finish on the days that he said he would be done at. Furthermore, he does not call and let you know if he’s gonna be late or if he’s gonna show up that day at all, and then speak to you with a certain tone of disrespect, knowing that he did not take care of the things that we discussed, I could go so much deeper in this will leave it at this, though just a terrible service all together

I called multiple times and they never came, and I live around the corner from them. I would never use them!
