Overall I'm happy with the work, but my biggest complaint is that several things I requested in the walk through were not out into the estimate. Unfortunately this was not caught until it was too late.

They also tried to gaslight me, telling me I told them the wall being removed was not firebrick (when they were the ones who told me the wall was probably firebrick. I didn't even know what that was prior).

A few elements were also sloppily done initially, but they did come back and fix it when requested. My biggest complaint would be around communication/expectation setting.

We had a leak coming through our kitchen ceiling that no contractor was able to figure out the source. After months of people guessing whether it was the siding, roof, or plumbing we decided to open up the kitchen ceiling and look for the source from there. Metro Craftsmen were very easy to setup appointments with, very prompt to respond, came at the scheduled times, and also gave us very reasonable prices (a lot less than other quotes we received). They were able to open the ceiling up, fix the issue (a poorly sealed pipe), close the ceiling, paint, and all of this in a matter of a few hours over few days. We will be calling them for future projects

I recently hired Metro Craftsmen for some repairs and upgrades around my home. Ben, our handyman, arrived on time and was equipped with all the necessary tools. He was professional, courteous and clearly very skilled. He quickly assessed the tasks at hand- replacing ceiling fans, repairing drywall, removing pendant lights, installing a new can light and repositioning our fireplace so that we could replace the stone façade. Ben came across some electrical issues while replacing the ceiling fans and Tony sent a master electrician to trouble shoot and resolve those issues. Tony’s team was able to complete all tasks efficiently, but also did a great job of cleaning up after finishing the work. The pricing was transparent and fair, providing excellent value for the high-quality service received. I would highly recommend Metro Craftsmen Services to anyone in need of home repairs or installations. Their professionalism, expertise and excellent customer service make them stand out in this field.
