had a real situation with our old apartment after our lease ended. the landlord was being super difficult about the deposit and basically said the place wasnt clean enough even tho we spent a whole weekend scrubbing it ourselves. so we brought in JL to do a move out cleaning and honestly the differece was wild. they hit the oven which we definitely half-assed, got all the cabinet interiors wiped out, scrubbed inside the fridge. the bathroom had this buildup behind the toilet we couldnt even reach properly and they handled all that. they did the window tracks too which i didnt even think about. sent the landlord photos after and he didnt say another word about it, got the full deposit back like three days later. wish we had just called them first instead of wasting our own weekend on it, we were so tired by sunday we just left the closets and hoped nobody would check

Compared a few cleaning services and JL was the quickest to actually get back to me with real answers. Booked them for our apartment and they showed up right on time. The whole Chicago move had been stressful so it was nice having the cleaning just handled without me chasing anyone down.

JL did a move-in cleaning for us before any furniture went in. Mostly what stood out was the floors - they honestly looked like a different color once all the grime was off, which I wasn't expecting. They also went through the cabinets and closet shelves, wiped everything down inside. Bathrooms got a full scrub too. I think having it done empty made a big difference because they could really get into corners and edges that would've been blocked by furniture later.
