Faton, Zim and the entire team who worked on our baths and kitchen remodel did great work ( perfectionists) kept us informed of schedules and addressed all of our asks with fair pricing. Would bring them back for more as we re imagine our basement!

We had a nightmare situation after closing when our GC left part of our project unfinished, and it was nearly impossible to find someone who truly understood the vision and could execute it properly.

Enter Michelangelo and his team…truly incredible. From the start, Michelangelo reassured me that they could get it done right, and they absolutely delivered. Vlad and Michael were beyond meticulous, coming multiple times to ensure perfect measurements, carefully matching the wood tones, and then executing a flawless install.

The final result is unbelievable. The arches match the existing wood so perfectly, you would never know they weren’t done at the same time. Their attention to detail, craftsmanship, and work ethic completely exceeded my expectations.

I would recommend them 10 times over. So grateful we found them.

My name is Nick and I am a small specialty meat and smoked fish distributor. My business has boomed during Covid and I needed a large cooler I can drive a forklift with pallets into, racking and a dock to load delivery trucks without handling the product by hand. I hired Hudson to help me figure out how to do this. You see, the small space I have does not allow me to just build however I want and I had to get permission from my landlord to create a dock. This was a big deal and after Michelangelo designed it he explained it to my landlord that this will add value to his building and convinced him to allow it and give me a break in my rent!

The team at Hudson helped me to rehab my home in order to sell and maximize profit. The first thing I would like to mention is that they are extremely detail oriented which is so important. I was giving daily updates including pictures and videos explaining exactly where we were in the project. I never felt that is was in the dark about what was goin on through the entire process.
They are also very easy to work with and helped to bring my vision to life. The final product was right on trend and exactly what I requested. I could not be happier.
When any unforeseen issues arose, which they always will, Hudson was quick to explain and address the issue, which really helped when it came to selling at the end.

We brought in Michelangelo as soon as we began negotiating the lease with this Skokie healthcare provider tenant because we knew the construction budget was going to be a major factor in them signing the lease. As advertised, Michelangelo worked with the Doctors hand in hand value engineering their project in real time to ensure construction costs could be kept as low as possible. His team provided a line item budget and gantt chart to explain the long lead times which was very helpful for the tenant. They started on time and delivered with only a 2 week delay which was caused by delayed building and fire marshall inspections because of Covid. They communicated these delays early and we had not complaints from the tenant.
I especially liked seeing their builder trend app daily logs and the progress everyone could track with the gantt chart.

Michelangelo was hands on with my project from beginning to end. He is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of construction and has a great sense of style, helping pick out fixtures, tile and lighting. He is sensitive to budget as well. If he had a TV show on HGTV, I would watch it!

Professional, detailed oriented and open to discuss different alternatives. They also work within your budget and produce quality work that they stand behind.

Michelangelo and his teams were awesome to work with! We supply custom internet marketing and lead generation for businesses that use social media as a cornerstone of their sales program. As such, we are incredibly busy from the 1st to the 15th of every month deploying new marketing programs and A/B testing them. We need zero interruptions during these weeks of every month. Michelangelo asked all the right questions and tailor fit the office renovation around our schedule. This meant the project had a logical break during the beginning of the month and only quiet work like glass installation, painting and wallpapering took place then. I highly recommend the thoughtful and proactive Hudson teams for your mission critical projects!

Michelangelo and his team at Hudson Construction have been on speed dial for over a decade! They are professional, prompt, kind and thorough and ALWAYS make sure my home is in AWESOME shape!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

While initially happy with the project, it didn't take long to realize Michaelangelo and team had skipped some major steps in quality and completion.

The main issue: Our shower started leaking immediately upon completion and were told it would be rectified - only to wait almost 2 years before he addressed the issue. His team came to try and fix it - which they did not, then we were issued an invoice for the incomplete job.

We ultimately had to have another contractor come and fix the issue which resulted in mold and a major reconstruction of the project.

My recommendation would be look elsewhere....

Amazing group! Really understand all aspects in development and how to effectively manage the process start to finish! Michelangelo in particular has a great eye for detail and keeping projects run on time.

Hudson was hired by the former owner of my home to do a pretty significant renovation. I've now lived in the home with my family for about a year and a half, and in that time have noticed many major areas where the company cut corners. One notable miss was their installation of our gutters, which a third party assessed and referred to as a "botched" job.

Over the past several months as my husband and I have tried to track down their team to come fix the work, which has now caused water damage to drywall and flooring in several rooms throughout our home, the Hudson team has played the blame game, pointing fingers at everyone else (including their own sub-contractors) rather than owning up to the unsatisfactory job and coming to make it right. Lengthy discussions with our Village Hall also revealed the Hudson team did not have a final inspection done on the job, which immediately calls into question the quality of work.

Do yourself a favor and do not hire this business. They are unprofessional, do sloppy work, communicate poorly and overall seem like a sub-par operation.

Can't say enough great things about Hudson Construction. I went through the worst experience with the Village of Wilmette but Hudson was there to help walk me through all the steps to get the project done in my home. Hudson was the general contractor on my kitchen project but the Village started adding on additional projects that had to be completed. Hudson helped me find reliable flooring company and electrician. Hudson has an app that they use for their clients, so they were able to upload photos of where they were in the process, receipts and notes. I was able to communicate with the workers if I had questions at any time of the day. The over all experience with Hudson was great! I will use them time and time again and always recommend them.

We used Hudson Construction for our kitchen and we LOVE the results! We have a tricky situation in which the floor between the main floor and the basement is concrete. In addition, we moved our kitchen to a bedroom area. All this being said, we needed a team who could get the job done efficiently and honestly. They did just that! They stuck to the schedule promised and finished our kitchen to perfection. The workers were respectful, kind, clean, and professional. The system they use to keep track of everything was really helpful as well. I enjoyed the whole process from concept/design to finishing touches. We'll definitely be using them again when we redo our bathrooms and reconfigure our master!
