Team Hudson completed a large design / build renovation in my UR Approved departments showroom at Sherman Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and worked around our sales team. They made dust free areas for my staff and customers and their staff was really thoughtful of minimizing the noise. They never walked through the showroom when customers were there and went along with materials and scaffolding. It was the best construction project we have ever done and will call Hudson the next time the dealership needs an upgrade!

Working with Michelangelo and Hudson Construction Services was a breath of fresh air. We had just purchased a new home and were on a tight schedule to have some remodeling work done. Michelangelo was able to help provide a quote without seeing the project in person and then once we closed on the house, firmed up the details in person. His crew got to work quickly ..showed up when they said they’d be there, worked late to get the job finished quickly, and cleaned up every day. We ran into a few issues that we weren’t aware of up front but they worked quickly to resolve them. I only wished we had used Hudson for a lot of the other work we were in the process of for the house as I think they would have saved us some stress. We will definitely be using Hudson again in the future and would recommend them whole-heartedly to anyone.

I have been relying on Hudson Contruction Services, Inc. for years and they have never let me down. They consistently get the job done right on the first try and always return phone calls and emails. The quality of their work is exceptional and they are always professional and courteous. I have used them on projects in hospitals, universities, senior living facilities, apartment buildings, and more; they always get rave reviews from my customers. When I purchased an old home a few years ago (which required a large renovation) my first call was to Hudson Construction Services. Michelangelo & Team exceeded our expectations from start to finish. Their design process was incredibly detailed but still creative, and their field crews brought the vision to life with really high attention to detail. The project was complete on time and basically on budget (my wife kept adding stuff), but we couldn’t be happier with our basement renovation, gym and spa bath:)

I have just now seen the incredible transformation of my Captiva Island, Florida condo done by Michelangelo Siracki and his team at Hudson Construction. It was a challenging project for many reasons - especially because a hurricane and resulting flood made everything more difficult. However, they did a magnificent job of completely converting my condo from outdated and water-damaged, to good-as-new, modern and beautiful. Hudson was hired to renovate my home and the result was a disaster. I've had multiple reputable companies examine Hudson's work at my home and they all used the same word to describe what they saw as "botched." A roofing company that has been in business for decades said the work Hudson did to our roof & gutters was beyond armature and basic steps & materials were clearly skipped.

Here is a list of a few botched items we have been dealing with that Hudson is directly responsible for:

1. Hudson failed to install the drip edge coming off my roof in at least 6 areas. Where the flashing is present, it's tucked behind my gutters. Now when it rains the water goes between the gutter and the house which has caused interior water damage eg. water leaking through windows, HVAC, conduit, damaged drywall and insulation, rotting wood. This should have been fixed immediately after discovering the issue but the response we received form Hudson is "our sub is on vacation and there's nothing we can do until they return." I received this response the entire month of April, May and into June when roofers are busiest. The sub still has not returned from vacation and they have left us to hire another roofing company to fix their work.

2. Hudson pulled off my gutters and reinstalled them with missing parts, gaps, and again tucked the original flashing behind the gutters causing water to flow towards the house not away.

3. The majority of the doors inside my home will not latch. Hudson pulled off the original doors to repaint them and reinstalled them improperly.

4. A window in our master will not stay open. It just free falls when you try to open it. This has been addressed multiple times and yet Hudson has done nothing to fix.

5. The new backyard deck was installed w/o flashing at the ledger. The city of Lincolnshire inspector caught this and requested the work be done but the city couldn't confirm if the work was ever performed because per the city:

"The final inspection was never performed and that's when the roof and deck would've been checked"

Jerry and Michelangelo at Hudson would rather stand by their poor quality of work than make things right. I have heard excuse after excuse from them to avoid fixing all of these issues.

Last thing I will say about this unprofessional and incapable contractor is that you have been warned. I wouldn't let them change a light bulb in my home.

adding add'l complaint

Today we had to replace the kitchen sink faucet that Hudson installed 1.5 years ago. We've been using the laundry room sink for a week and the fix will cost us another $400-500. We had water all over our kitchen floor and cabinets bc of this.

Laurens Restoration came out to inspect water damage caused by Hudson poor quality of work and noticed mold growth and foundation cracking. Hudson closed up the walls with out addressing the crack in the foundation to hide the problem.

9/28/2021

1.5 years after Hudson completed the rehab to our home we had to completely renovate our basement with new dry wall and flooring due to the water damage caused by the gutter/roof issues Hudson caused. After ripping up the old carpet we found a major crack in the floor that Hudson simply covered up without fixing.

Hudson never seizes to amaze me with all the cover ups in their process. Using this company is a terrible idea and will cost you in the long run.

Hudson Construction and Kasia Jarosz did a fantastic job on our challenging residential renovation of kitchen and baths. Kasia and Michelangelo were both a delight to work with. She and her team went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and deliver a top quality build. I hope to work together again on future projects!

We hired Michelangelo based on a recommendation from our architect. His team cut corners wherever possible. All 3 sinks he installed for us started to leak within 6 months. We have a plumber on call. He said they used clay instead of a properly fitting washer. Our HVAC guy who came in 2 weeks after we opened doors said too obvious of a mistake was made, either due to sabotage or pure ignorance work by an unqualified person.

Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from the beginning. Communication was a major issue, everything had to go through his assistant, who was not well versed in construction matters, which caused repeated delays and confusion. He was simply overbooked!
Shortly after starting our project, Michelangelo claimed a worker injury and disappeared from our job for three weeks. We later learned he had done the same on at least three other projects, and has a history with this claim. We were originally promised a November completion, but the space wasn’t finished until the last week of February, and even then, it wasn’t truly done.
We failed every major inspection: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and the final walk-through. We’re now in May, and remediation work is still ongoing. We’ve had to spend over $4,000 out of pocket to fix problems caused by his team. Doors and cabinet hardware began failing just two months after opening. While about 70% of the work was acceptable, the rest has left us with a significant burden to manage ourselves.
I would not recommend working with this contractor if you expect reliability, accountability, or timely completion.

Our hardware installed by this team continues to fail. When my husband reached out to him to obtain warranty information regarding material he’d used at our property and on our dime, he replied with the following message and refused to disclose warranty information! And this is how my husband found out about my review! So one less star for professionalism…. I’ll come back and add photos of more things that were done poorly and left incomplete. This includes but not limited to 3 door handles coming off, cabinet coating peeling off, base board peeling off, two ceiling lamps flickering, electrical failure due to “lose wiring”, leaking toilet, and 3 broken door stoppers, all within 30 days of “project completion” and door opening for business.

Good people with proffersional service. Hired them for yardwork and tree trimming. They arrived on time and did wonderful job.

The fee I was charged for the roof inspection certificate of the single family home I was in the process of buying was fair, and the repair cost estimates look marketable.

We had done General construction work with them. They have done amazing job. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone. Thank you!

Almir and his crew saved the day for me my hot water tank started to leak on Saturday right before Christmas and then the worst was when the injector pump failed as well and flooded my basement

I called M and Sons remodeling to come help with this big problem almir and his crew should up in 1 hour with big machines his crew started to clean the water back up the other guys started to take apart the tank and pump they got all the parts fast they cleaned up everything and changed all the parts within of 6 hours and the whole job was completed like it never happen I didn’t know what to do but M and Sons Remodeling saved the day and I still enjoyed my Christmas

I would recommend them for any kind of job they came with nice trucks all in uniforms they were all clean and the best part they had shoe cover on the whole time so my 1 st floor never got dirty

We had a bad experience working with this company. They arrived late most of the time for a Bathroom remodeling job and when it was all said and done the quality was poor. I think they were in over their head with the situation and eventually we had to hire another company to fix some of the errors.

They did a great job and accommodated our schedule.

The cost of work performed was reasonable. We needed a new sidewalk and some plumbing repairs.

Amazing attention to detail. My fireplace mantle and tiles perfect. He has also painted my entire first floor living spaces; 1000 square feet of our house. . Almir and his team exceed with their work, time and professional demeanor.

Great company. I used them for 2 very different jobs and had great results. They were fast, communicated at every step, and were reasonably priced. The first was a dry wall replacement and paintings after a tree hit our house. The second was adding insulation to the attic. I would highly recommend them.
