I recently had some pretty stubborn issues with my bathtub not draining properly, which I had been avoiding for a while. When I realized it couldn’t wait any longer, I reached out to a local plumbing company in Evanston to figure out what was causing the backup and get it fixed. I spoke with Wyatt, who quickly got me scheduled for an appointment the very next day. Before the plumber arrived, Calvin gave me a call to let me know he was on his way. When Robert, the technician, showed up, he was very friendly and made sure to explain everything he was doing to solve my plumbing problem. He got my bathtub draining perfectly again in no time. The whole process was smooth, and the pricing was really fair too. I highly recommend this plumbing company to anyone in Evanston who needs help with their drains or any other plumbing needs. I’ll definitely call them again if I need plumbing services in the future!

this is our second time sharing feedback about brothers plumbing. brothers plumbing became our go-to plumber after our previous company stopped working with private homes. the main reason we chose them was because they’re family owned and really involved in their work. our first experience was the regular spring plumbing inspection and maintenance, which was very thorough. then, one of our older water heaters in the attic started leaking. after checking it out, calvin from brothers plumbing found it was a bigger problem than just a leak, so we needed a replacement water heater. brothers plumbing gave us a prompt quote. since it was a big job, we also got a quote from the plumbing company we’d used for years. brothers plumbing’s quote was over 40% less for the same equipment. i had to chase the other company just to get a quote! when we were facing a stretch of really hot days, brothers plumbing scheduled the installation before the heat hit and finished everything on time. our attic is pretty old and tough to work in, but wyatt and robert handled everything without any complaints, even carrying the new water heater up three stories and dealing with some tricky wiring in the walls. we needed a small adjustment after the install, and they came back within two days at no extra charge. we couldn’t be happier with the service, from the people who answer the phones to the service manager who explained the new efficiency ratings to us, and especially the team who did the work. we don’t usually write reviews this long, but they really earned it. we highly recommend them.

Robert came out to my house in Evanston to repair a water leak in a pipe leading to my kitchen sink. He used a camera through the nearest clean-out to locate the problem. To get to the leaking pipe, he had to carefully cut into the drywall, remove the old pipe, and solder in a new one. He also rearranged the PVC pipes under my sink to help the water drain better, and then swapped out my kitchen faucet with a new one I had bought. This took some time, but Robert explained everything along the way. When he returned the next day to finish up, I asked if he could also replace a bathroom faucet and a tub spout to get my shower working right. We had to make a quick trip to the store for the right parts, and Robert did some extra soldering since the new tub spout was a different size. He made it all work perfectly, fixing things I had been putting off for years. On a third visit, he came back to repair the drywall from the original leak and even changed out an outdoor water spigot that had been dripping for a long time. Even though there were several repairs, the cost was much less than I expected and definitely lower than what other plumbing companies had quoted me. I’m really happy with the work Robert did and everything is working great now. My new faucets look and work fantastic!
