He installed a new sump pump which was a job beyond my skill set. Took him 45 minutes and the result turned out great. Got charged $525. Seems high.

Midcity is very responsive, reliable and they do great work. Everytime I have contacted them by phone or email they've responded to me within minutes and service appointment was within 24-48 hours. I've called them to look at & repair leaks and they've also installed a dishwasher. The individuals who came out were very honest and professional. I definitely recommend this business.

I would highly recommend Midcity Plumbing. My toilet was making a noise and I couldn't figure out why. They first tried to give suggestions on the phone in order to save me from having to pay the service fee. When that didn't work, the technicians came out and diagnosed the problem within 5 minutes and fixed it. A simple fill valve part, who knew! They even went above and beyond to diagnose a different problem I had with my water meter clicking and made suggestions on how to contact the village. This is the service and care you would want from a company. A++

We have been using MidCity Plumbing for the last 20 years. Their pricing is in line with other plumbing companies and there is know plumbing company that can beat their professionalism , experience and knowledge.
I have actually saved money by using Mid City because in the beginning of our homeownership other plumbing companies would tell me that I needed more work only to have Mid City come out and give me the truth about my plumbing problems !
This a family owned business and if you have questions the owner Mario will actually call you back to work with you through your plumbing issues.
All their plumbers that have come out to my home have been outstanding and knowledgeable.
Andy and Daniel just finished installing a toilet at our home and they were outstanding. They were professional, knowledgeable and efficient. Andy has been at our home before and has always done a great job . As a matter of fact because he is so good I sometimes want to ask if they could send him to do the work on my home.
We have an older home in the city so sometimes it takes a little more effort to make things work but Andy and Daniel took their time and explained and showed me the work every step of the way !

I am so happy with the finished work. My drains are running perfectly. I had called 2 other plumbers and made it clear it was a pedestal sink in my bathroom. They both said they could do it. They got to my condo and said no, I had to have the sink removed. Midcity asked me to send a picture, then said yes they could do it, AND actually did it. They also left my place spotless. There are 42 other units in the building and I plan to tell them all to use Midcity Plumbing.

I had an appointment scheduled to work on a leak on my ceiling . My ceiling is leaking 2-3 times per week on a regular basis .
Your guys were at my Location on Central and didn't do anything to fix my problem. They were talking all the time that they don’t know what to do.I wish i could say something better…

So I’m not sure if I can explain how impressed I am with what Midcity did for us today honestly. I don’t normally do reviews on home service contractors elec plumbing etc…I’m way more into food reviews however when a company provides a service at our home that exceeds any dining experience I can’t help but let other people know how good they were. I don’t even know them from Adam so it’s even more impressive to me what they did. Our hot water heater decided to end its career without notice and if you’ve ever been in that situation it’s not great. Anyway when I called they said they would call me back and see if they could come out later that day. Well not only did they come out that day they took care of everything while I was at work and we had hot water the same day. If you’re in a pinch like we were Midcity is definitely worth reaching out to. Can’t say enough good things about them. THANK YOU Midcity!!

Mid City Plumbing did a fantastic job fixing an array of problems in our older home. We tried other plumbers before and there was no comparison, Mid City service techs were skilled and very knowledgeable, well worth their charges.

As landscape contractor I often rely on MidCity to install water and gas lines on my projects. MidCity is consistently available, professional, and they always find the most efficient routes to run lines which saves me and my clients money. Highly recommend!

"YOU THINK DISPATCH TELLS US WHAT TO DO?!"
I was screamed at by one of their plumbers.
90 days prior, without consent, they came in and destroyed my bathroom. They did not repair it until 2 seasons later.

Was told that they would be there at 8AM. My roomate and I would only need 20mins each to use the bathroom and then go to work.
They showed up at 7 when we woke up and demanded they start to work. I said we just woke up. They refused to wait in the hall and complained that "You're stopping us from doing our job"

They only had permission to look. They had no permission to destroy my wall. This was in summer, they did not complete the job until winter. Thats 90 days/3months. No rush after they wrecked my place, but 1 hour they show up early.

We were having issues after turning our water off and back on due to construction, and our main line had had enough. We called last night, and they were out this afternoon to fix it in a little over an hour. Couldn’t be happier. Thank you so much, Sebastian!!

Midcity Plumbing has done big jobs for us and small. After some flooding about 15 years ago, they did a major job of repairing the sewer line to the street. More recently, we called them when our water tank suddenly went out and was leaking rusty water across the basement. Not only did they answer the phone after hours at seven at night, but they arranged to come the next day. In less than 24 hours, we have a new water tank. Fantastic personable service always.

Mid City came through with our emergency call. In a day they fixed our serious problem. Mario and Joe have a terrific team. Highly recommended company!
