Tree reviews in Lansing, Illinois

I'm a repeat customer, and as before, service was first-rate from initial contact to office follow-up to clean-up. The service involved removal and trimming back of very large branches broken off by storm winds at the top of a very large tree in a very small backyard, threatening my neighbor's garage, and the multiple utility lines in between. Wow! I especially appreciate the almost surgical care taken to preserve the healthy tree branches.

Absolutely Outstanding Tree Trimming Service!

I couldn't be more impressed with the incredible service I received from Piekarski & Sons - they exceeded my expectations in every way! From the time I contacted them for an estimate to the final cleanup, every interaction was professional, courteous, and efficient.

The staff was phenomenal—experienced, incredibly knowledgeable, and exceptionally respectful of my property. They took the time to walk me through the process, answer all my questions, and ensure I felt confident in the work they were about to do.

When it came to timeliness, I was blown away. They showed up exactly when they said they would (which, let's be honest, is rare these days!) and completed the job on schedule without cutting any corners. It's clear that they value their customers' time and take real pride in sticking to their commitments.

And the quality of work? Top-notch. They expertly trimmed several mature trees on my one-acre lot, enhancing the beauty of the landscape while maintaining the trees' natural shape and health. They were careful and deliberate with every cut, and the result is aesthetically stunning and functionally safer for my home. Not a single branch was left behind—the cleanup was immaculate.

If you're looking for a reliable, skilled, and genuinely outstanding tree-trimming service, look no further than Piekarski & Sons. I'm already planning to hire them again, and I'll recommend them to everyone I know!

Aaron and his team are top notch! They had the mulch I was needing for my garden beds. Premium hardwood without any dyes. I will definitely be using them in the future.

I had two trees cut down today the workers were wonderful and coordinated with their jobs. They were available at all times supporting the worker in the bucket truck supporting him with ropes as they guided the branches down. They were careful to cut my stumps to the exact height I wanted and were great with cleaning my decks and driveway. They replaced all my flower pots exactly as I needed them. I will use them again and recommend them anytime.

I'm very happy with the service they provided for one of my properties, I've been referring them to friends and neighbors and they also have been happy as well. One neighbor was so happy about the referral I gave him, he bought me a case of beer

Piekarski Tree Service was recommended by a friend and came through with flying colors. Fairly large dying tree was set closely between 2 houses and there were no issues whatsoever. I highly recommend them.

Grayson, Betty Jo Omar and the rest of the crew were all friendly. They listened to my problems and concerns and came up with a plan to meet my needs. Great job guys! Thank you.

I’m thankful for Piekarski for the removal of our trees. Their price was reasonable and so was their timetable. We were not home during their operations, but when we came home, our trees were removed and the area was cleaned up like no one was ever there. My employer uses them, so I felt confident asking them to come out for a quote and ultimately hiring them. I have learned during this experience that there are companies out there who will take advantage of you. Piekarski is not one of them. They will take care of you! They are reliable and trustworthy.

Totally professional service began with a phone call to the office. So articulate and extremely knowledgeable and helpful, followed by a visit from an actual Arborist who knew everything about trees and how best to help me.
This was a really big job. On the designated day , the men and the arborist arrived early and got right to work. The men doing the actual cutting and trimming were just as professional and acted with safety as a top priority. They were friendly and showed compassion to this old lady. One of them even brought me a chair so I could watch in comfort at a safe distance. They worked so hard, each with his own responsibility, coordinated like a lumberjack ballet!
They finished and cleaned up the entire area well within the estimated time. Wow! It’s absolutely beautiful. My yard now looks like a grand park. There’s blue sky up there!
I couldn’t be happier or more satisfied with the entire experience. Professional, thoughtful work done by hardworking people you’re happy to have at your home. And, the price was right! How about that?
I’d happily and confidently recommend Piekarski to anyone, from the fussiest customer to anyone with a big job that seems overwhelming—like my yard!!
Thank you to everyone at Piekarski.

Workers were knowledgeable and
helpful in explaining what they were
doing, did a great job not only in trimming but also clean-up. Have had Piekarski and Sons help with several
tree problems, and they were always
professional, and informative, company
is one of the best out there.

Piekarski was great from start to finish. This included the office personnel who answered all of our questions. The arborist who inspected our trees and gave his assessment of what was needed. And the crew who proceeded to take down two trees very professionally and carefully. The cleanup was exceptional. And the price was very reasonable. Five stars to a very trustworthy company.

They did a great job. They had the tree down and everything cleaned up in just over an hour. They did a really nice job of cleaning up the debris in the yard as well. I would also like to say that they were very friendly and easy to talk to.

Right from the first meeting with the arborist/estimator, I felt comfortable that I had called the right tree service. Everyone was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. There was a lot of work to be done and they finished it all in one day. They swept up afterwards and I was well pleased with the work. I would highly recommend them.

They were Promt, and Professional, They did their best to work around my dead vehicle and they cleaned up Really good...

From the beginning of the process everyone was vert professional . knowledgeable and very easy to deal with I had 5 big oaks pruned and one tree taken down. Arborist Grayson and his team led by Brian were great . Betty Jo in the office was also a pleasure to deal with . Highly Recommended will use again.

We had some huge evergreens and ceders that needed some TLC. I called Piekarski & sons. Not only did they respond quickly they completed the job within days of calling them.
They completely cleaned up after themselves.
The crew was polite, friendly, and professional.
I would highly recommend them if you need a tree service.jim L

When we had tree trimming done and upon arrival the crew just went ahead and cut trees without confirmation. Their directions were written down. However they cut a tree that was do not cut list. When I arrived home the tree was trimmed! It provides privacy and shade to our deck. Regardless it was DO NOT CUT. The companies apology was to come and cut the “right” tree thinking it was no big deal. It was and is a big deal. On top of cutting the wrong tree the plants under were destroyed which wouldn’t have been had they not cut the wrong tree. Will not be returning or recommending.

Couldn’t recommend them enough! Did an excellent job cutting several large trees and left our yard cleaner then it was before they arrived!

Great team at Piekarski! From the office support to the crew that completed the job, everyone is involved in making sure the job is done to perfection.
The initial review by their arborist determined we could save/trim one tree while making sure there was a solid plan to remove the problem tree.
The day of removal, the crew arrived on time, was professional, courteous and respectful of our yard.
Despite the difficult job, due to the yard access, the team had a solid plan and the right equipment to get the job done. They did a great job with clean up and everything went well. The next day they followed up to make sure we were happy with the job.
Great to work with a local company that stands behind their work.
I would recommend them to anyone!

The tree service crew today were fantastic! They all came with a smile! They were so professional with their service, clean up, and all around work ethics! Our pine tree was cut down in 13 minutes. They knew what to do and didn’t waste any time! They cleaned the yard, the grass, and even the street! ! We haven’t seen such a professional service like this in a long time. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the future! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Great service from this company. They removed two difficult pine trees from my backyard. The guys were professional, respectful of property and were able to get my power restored within a few hours. They also came a few days later to remove the stumps and had Great communication throughout the process. Highly recommended company with professional people to rely on to get the job done.
