Tree reviews in Lansing, Illinois

I want to thank Betty Jo, Omar, Josh and Johnny. They were professional and friendly. They made this experience very pleasant. I have told my neighbors about your company and highly recommend you. Your company removed trees around my church, in Harvey. Thanks again for your help.

Jim came out and patiently answered all of my questions and made sure I understood everything. Grayson, Omar, and the rest of the team did a fantastic job trimming all of the trees, removing all of the large tree limbs, and cleaned up the yard. Definitely went above and beyond. Thank you!!

Very professional company. They brought down 2 very large trees in my front yard. From the quoting process (Jim) to the crew and foreman (Omar), everything was smooth. They took as much care as possible to not damage anything. I would HIGHLY recommend them.

I am very disappointed with the service I received for several reasons. I was left with a large pile of wood chip/soil mix in my yard from our tree removal. Also, they missed several roots when they said they would be ground down. Additionally, I had two maple trees thinned out. Sadly, one was aggressively cut back to the point it is lopsided, and lost its look of a beautiful tree. Now it looks like an umbrella. I would tell individuals to avoid this company. Photos; pile left, tree has leaf branches only on one side and roots left not grinned down.

Steer clear of Piekarski & Son Trees.. During their work for the unneighborly neighbor, they not only marred my lawn with unsightly mud tracks but also damaged my in-ground sprinkler head. When I reached out to them for help, they callously refused to take responsibility and chose instead to side with the inconsiderate neighbor, who falsely claims that all the damaged grass area is on his side. The photos clearly mark red the property line where Piekarski used my 98% of my lawn instead of utilizing the neighbor’s driveway. This entire experience has revealed a disturbing lack of accountability and customer care from this company. For your own peace of mind, avoid Piekarski & Son Trees in Lansing, Illinois, at all costs. They are unreliable and unwilling to own up to their mistakes. If I had the option, I would give this tree company zero stars.
****The response provided by Pekarski & Sons on July 26, 2025, is completely false. They do not have the plat of survey for either property, so they cannot accurately determine where our property line sits, especially since it is at an angle along the red line in the photos. To be clear, I was not your customer; your customer misled you, and as a result, you damaged my grass, 1 in-ground sprinkler head and refuse to make repairs. I want to emphasize that this company lacks accountability.

If you are in the market for tree removal services, look no further than Piekarski & Sons! From start to finish, the entire experience was smooth, professional, and stress-free.
Betty Jo was absolutely wonderful to work with. She maintained clear and consistent communication throughout the entire process, keeping me informed every step of the way. On top of that, she went above and beyond by offering thoughtful recommendations for other landscapers I can use in the future, which I truly appreciated.
When it came time for the work itself, Piekarski & Sons showed up as scheduled and removed the trees quickly and efficiently. The crew was professional, well-organized, and handled everything without a single issue. The job was completed exactly as promised, and the property was left clean and orderly afterward.
If you’re looking for a reliable, responsive, and highly professional tree removal company, I highly recommend Piekarski & Sons. Outstanding service all around!

I recently hired Piekarski & Sons for tree removal, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with their service. The team arrived on time, worked efficiently, and ensured my property was protected throughout the process. They cleaned up throughly afterward, leaving no debris. Their prices were very reasonable. If you need tree removal, I highly recommend Piekarski & Sons. Their professionalism from the office staff to the team in the field made the entire process stress-free.

Peikarski Tree Service did a fantastic job at cutting down a very tall Cottonwood tree that had been hit by lightning. The crew they sent was very professional, hardworking and very polite. They were careful and considerate of our property and our neighbors. Did a great job at clean up to the point where the only difference I noticed was that the tree was gone. They also did a nice job at grinding out the massive tree stump. We highly recommend Piekarski's for a professional job.

Always a wonderful experience with Briggs Tree Service. Have hired them numerous times to trim my different trees. Very professional, knowledgeable and careful when trimming my trees. Thoroughly cleaned up and my neighbors yard when finish. Wouldn't even know they were there except for a beautiful river birch tree. Highly recommend them. You won't regret it!

I'm honestly not one to write reviews but I just had a phenomenal experinece with Briggs Tree Service, Inc. This company arrived to clear a tree that fell during a recent storm from my neighbor's yard. The crew was willing to provide me with a reasonable on-site quote and same-day removal of a large, dangerous/hanging tree limb broken during a storm. Excellent and professional crew providing outstanding service. I'll certainly use them for future tree removal/trimming needs and recommend to others.

This company is very professional, the pricing beat out everyone by an arm and leg. We are so satisfied with their work. They removed 2 trees and took out the stumps, and additional stumps as well. I have not one bad thing to say about them. The crew was quick and effective.

I have been getting firewood from Steve for 20 years….very reasonably priced and excellent service.

After a recent storm, I used Briggs tree service for the removal of a very large evergreen, and many branches from other trees. They came out the next day, did a professional job of cutting and chipping up and clean up. The workers were very professional. And the price was very reasonable. Would highly recommend them.

They did a great job. I will use them in the near future. They cleaned up after themselves.

Been searching for a company to remove this and they were the most professional and gave the best quote for the job! They came out and removed everything quickly and made sure I was satisfied with the result! I would highly recommend them and will be using again!

Cole & his crew came out to cut the tree we share with our neighbor.
Kept us informed & cleaned up! Next day Mark & Dave were out to grind the stump! Nice job guys!!

These guys are the best around. Dont treat you like youre some dummy. They take good care of their customers. They do very good work in a reasonable time frame for a reasonable price. Had a tree fall on my garage they took care of it without any extra damage and took down a couple of other big trees I was concerned about.

We have use Briggs Tree Service several times, most recently to remove two large trees and trim a third along a fence line and between my home and my neighbor's home.

The work was performed quickly and professionally, without damage to the fence between the homes. I would definitely use them again and give them the highest recommendations.

Wow!! Briggs Tree Service was great and the price was right! Cole and Earl were on time, thorough and fast. It was a complex job as a tree fell into our pond. They were very careful, safe and left the yard clean of any debris. Thanks, guys!!
