There aren't enough great things to say about Matt and his team at Rolling Landscapes. Matt patiently worked with us through numerous design changes (our requests) and delays (village and other contractors) to not only create a vision for our space, but to see it through to the entirety. The team does high quality work, leaves the area impeccably clean and in my opinion the extremely efficiently from the day the first shovel hit the ground.

Matt has an incredible eye and knowledge of what will best suite your project's goals and fit your space appropriately. There won't be another landscaper that will get our business no future referrals. Thank you Matt, Rigo and Rolling Landscapes.

This is my second Hinsdale home that Jerry and his team have done for me. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else to do my landscaping projects. From the start of every project he just keeps on coming up with new ideas. Thanks for everything.

Hands down Jerry Gould and his crew for the win! Why do you ask? We had 2 different landscaping services to help design or implement what was in my head as I was physically unable to do so, and the hubs, well I adore him just as he is.

Anyhow, landscaping services are basically maintenance and will do what you ask. I had an idea in my head of what we (read what I) wanted, and needed someone to be honest with what was doable, and how much maintenance I really wanted outside spring and fall.

We had paid 2 other landscape designers for plans, neither hit the mark. Out of desperation I did a Google search. Some wouldn't work with us for under 50K, claimed was doing homes in our neighborhood for 100K+. We're not taking a loan out for landscaping!

Anyhoo, Jerry was on my list. I haven't seen him around like others with trucks and such over the years, and I'm SO sorry it took so darn long. My neighbors were not happy with the sad shape of landscaping we tried to install over the last few years, so we needed to do something.

Long story, bear with me as landscaping is permanent and expensive.

Jerry comes along. Listens to my crazy ideas. Asks me how much personal time I want to maintain or pay for weekly maintenance, very little to none I said. He adapted what I wanted to something that was doable and freaking beautiful! Not only that, what he couldn't use of what we had up front, he set up in our sad looking yard, and my breath was taken away. Simple, but beautiful and now I can easily build upon myself. But I'm wiser now, so will call Jerry back.

I drove home the opposite way for weeks just so I could take a good long look at all that was done. I couldn't look at it enough! Money definitely well spent! He has before pictures as well as after, and I see what it looks like, and I cringe.

Call Jerry. Nice guy. Will work within your budget, won't surprise you with unexpected work orders. Quick and clean subcontractors. Highly recommend.

Any questions, please ask. This guy and his ideas are spot on, amd won't require a 2nd mortgage on the house!

We used J Gould Landscape and had a great experience. They helped us create a landscape design based on our criteria and set expectations with regards to timing. We have and will continue to recommend this business to anyone interested in quality landscaping.

I have worked with Jerry for many years and he has done wonderful work. Last job in 2018 I am still waiting for paver repair on driveway. They must have pounded in the last few bricks and 6-8 are chipped off. He promised to replace. Well, small repair is back burner for big jobs. Too busy, weather is too cold, ground is frozen, waiting for thaw was the last I heard. Now I am sure it's the virus. His work through Hernandez is beautiful. I just want the repairs done!

Jerry completely re-landscaped the front of our house- and we absolutely love it! From the first call to completion it was about a month and Jerry was extremely responsive and helpful along the way. We had some last minute changes that he easily worked through, and we couldn’t be happier! Highly recommend.

I wanted to replace our paver patio, as we needed more space, but also had sump pump drainage problems underneath. While I was getting quotes for replacement and discussing new drainage plans, Jerry Gould was the only company that offered advise, solutions I could do on my own, and followed up (even on weekends) to see how the drainage problem was doing, even though I had not made a decision on who to go with. He was incredibly helpful, and interested in helping me.

Once we decided to go with them, great communication, excellent work, and an incredible stone patio, with proper drain solution. No corners cut. Top notch craftsmanship. Would highly recommend J Gould, and will use him again for future patio/landscape needs. A job well done.

Jerry did major hardscape and softscape in our one acre lot including gardens, lights for our pond and redoing that garden, unilock pavers installed on our front walk and steps to our front door. All of the work was fabulous and his team is terrific.
His company also did the installation of 22 new cluster mailboxes for our HOA which included concrete pads, mailbox installation, removal of old boxes and concrete pads, and rehab of the surrounding landscape. It was a huge project with lots of moving parts. Jerry and his team were fantastic. On time, always keeping me in the loop, and high quality work.

All I can say wow!! I live in a new home in Burr Ridge and Jerry and crew designed and installed a $300,000 project on time and budget. I would recommend J Gould Landscape to anyone.

We hired Jerry to design and build our patio back in the summer of 2019. He was great to work with and his team was extremely skilled and professional. We are very happy with the finished product and continue to put it to good use! We are looking forward to Jerry and his team returning this spring to help us redo our landscaping.

I had a bad experience with another company and Jerry was able to come in and take care of everything. He created a beautiful design, the work was done with great care and quality, and our yard looks amazing. I can't recommend him enough for anyone that needs design and landscaping work done. We have had them do pavers, sod, completely re-do plantings, mulch, lighting, etc... and everything has turned out perfectly. Jerry and the team take great care to make sure everything meets or exceeds expectations. Will absolutely be using them again for anything in the future.

I had a very good experience with J Gould Landscape Design. Jerry has a very good eye for what works and what doesn't. His landscaping crew did an excellent job with the hardscape. I had many compliments from neighbors in regards to the landscaping and the lighting work that Jerry did. I would highly recommend his services

We made an appointment with this company and we rushed back from work for the appointment, but they never showed up!
When we called them they didn't return our call until two days later and they even lied that the appointment was for a different day!
Very bad business, complete waste of our time. Do not use this company!
