Great service with reasonable pricing. They were able to cut down a dying elm tree that was leaning over our house in a couple hrs (in the rain) and gave us the wood chips for our garden. Highly recommend!

R&D just came out to our property in Glen Ellyn. They did 3 tree removals and trimmed another three trees.

Awesome tree service! Can't say enough about the crew and the professional job. They took down 4 ,25 ft bushes and 2 dead trees in a very short time ,cleaned up every branch and ground out every stump!! 5 star rating and the best price by far!!

R and D Tree Service took down a dying 200 year old White Oak tree from our backyard that was literally touching our house. At 4 1/2 ft off the ground, the circumference of this tree was 10 ft 4 inches! From the estimate all the way through to clean up, these individuals were incredibly professional safe thorough and attentive to the homeowner. Our backyard is small, and we did have to remove several boxwood, an oak leaf hydrangea and some perennials before the truck arrived. Also, in addition to both of our neighbors’ homes and yards, there were fences two patios and a stone fireplace that could have been harmed as the tree came down. Yet NOTHING was damaged. Absolutely AMAZING work!
One last comment…after expressing our sadness to R and D-in losing our tree, they offered to save four huge slices from the base-for our kids who grew up playing beneath this tree. Talk about accommodating!! Will add photos to the R and D website of this messy and difficult project. Of particular interest for any homeowner, will be just how neat and tidy they left our backyard after spending two long days at our house.THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU WHO WORKED THIS PROJECT!

Most of us look and shop around for quotes when needing to have work done and just want fair pricing and honest people to work with. These guys are it! Very very fair with their pricing and honest. Make these guys your first call. On time and responsive. They were very up front about some trees I had dead, what they were going to do and why. They cleaned up the entire yard after they were finished as well.

6 guys show up and got the job done for Less $$$
Plus they had the time to take an additional three tree down and trim one
And they even cleaned my roof and gutters
Plus spread the tree grindings under a large evergreen.
I’ll have plant more trees just to see the great job they Do. Six Stars

This team was great to work with! My dad couldn’t stop raving about how well they removed two of our HUGE trees in the backyard. They had to go into our neighbors yard also and was super courteous/cleaned up really well after in their yard too. Overall great experience and service done by this company. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for tree removals.

R&D Tree Service went above and beyond to assist me immediately after the recent tornado. They removed the fallen tree off the roof, deck, and yard. Then they cleaned up the area so well, it looked better than before. They will exceed your expectations. The nicest crew too! My neighbors were impressed also. I highly recommend them!

Everything about working with R & D was fantastic. I entered an inquiry through their website and got a reply and quote the same day. Three guys stopped over to evaluate the job, they quoted me on the spot, and followed up with an email. They were competitively priced, friendly, and easy to work with. We were not there when the work was completed, so Gustavo sent us a video to show what had been done. Highly recommend.

They had a crew working in my neighborhood last week as I came home from work. I asked for a quote at their convenience for removing a fungus-infected 65-foot spruce tree from just off the edge of my front porch. Jose immediately offered to follow me home, which he did. I received a very fair quote for taking down the tree, grinding the stump and cleaning up the yard afterward. As soon as they completed the first job, they brought all of their equipment (bucket, shredder, stump grinder, trucks for mulch and the main trunk sections) to my house. In just over an hour, they safely and efficiently completed the removal and cleanup as promised. I have already recommended them to two people at work and can't say enough good things about them. Fair, friendly, fast and efficient. I will definitely be using them in the future for two more large trees that are slowly being affected by the same fungus, and Jose has already provided an excellent quote. Shop around if you want, but R & D will be your last call.

We have used R & D Tree Service several times and they are absolutely amazing. They are responsive with good customer service, they do professional work, and are kind and courteous. They literally quote immediately with fair and reasonable prices and do the work quickly and well. We worked with many other tree services before we found R&D and now we would not call anyone else!

Very pleased with R&D Tree service. I hired Roel and team to bring down 4 trees and trim 1. 3 of the trees where in tight spaces between my home my neighbors fence and home. And one extremely close to my garage. Roel and team took every precaution to assure the job went smoothly. The cost was very competitive. I’d definitely recommend R&D tree service.

I had gotten multiple bids to have a hedge trimmed and decided to go with R&D. Not only was their price the lowest but they did a great job on trimming the hedge.

I was going to wait on having a tree cut down until next year but was quoted a great price on having it cut down, the stump grinded, and two additional trees trimmed. So I had all that done and they had it completed in a short time and did a great job. They also did an excellent job cleaning up.

We contacted R and D Tree Services regarding a split tree in our backyard and some dead tree branches caught way up in another tree. They arrived within 40 minutes of our call and had the project completed within an hour. The men were extremely pleasant and did a fantastic job cleaning up. Price was very reasonable also. We will definitely be calling them for any future tree needs!

I got a total of 5 quotes from 5 companies including R & D, their prices are Unbeatable just like their transparency, their work ethics and their professionalism. Raul and Gustavo are amazing. They consulted, took down 3 story trees and even advised on using a cherry tree for the fire pit. Took down trees, and cleaned up very well. Very reasonably priced.

Mario was great to work with, very fast, and transparent with pricing and expectations ahead of time. I will def work with them again for other projects!
