This is the second time I've used Homer and am very pleased with their services. This time they did a stump removal for me while I was out of town. When I returned, I found the stump gone and the shreddings neatly piled.

I would highly recommend Homer for any of their services.

I have had Homer Tree Care out to chop down two trees as well as do a lot of trimming. Wonderful response time and very cordial office staff. Kudos to Becca, Maggie and of course Tim.

I was not even given a chance to receive a free estimate due to the lack of professionalism and poor attitude from the girl who answers the phone and doesn’t say her name but made sure she didn’t even apologize when I called her out and instead chose to hung up on me. I’ll be sure to tell everyone never use this company who allows such incompetence to be the first voice clients come across.

Homer Tree service was SUPURB! From the initial contact with Ryan Countryman, the quick response even though you had many more important tasks in Prestwick, to the work, clean up and removal of the trees!! You are great!

If you are looking for fast, reliable and prompt service, don't call this company. They will tell you someone will come out to give an estimate and a quote will be emailed, but be prepared to be very patient. It's faster to just do the job yourself. I agree with Carrie. Should be able to select negative stars.

Why is communication so hard? If someone emails you with questions, respond. If you are setting up a job for the next morning, how about not leaving a message after hours as the only confirmation. If you are going to take the time to ask for pictures and come out to scope the job, how about reviewing with your crew prior to them coming on site so customer doesn’t have try to explain to staff at 7am to someone with limited English because there is no contact to escalate. Get every little detail in writing and whomever comes out to quotes phone number.

I asked for 4 weeks to get someone to come out a quote a large job of pulling trees out of a creek and drainage ditch on agricultural land. Finally got a call from a Grant with Homer on a Wednesday and we schedule him to come quote the job on Friday at 11:00. He never showed up. After multiple texts to him he replied that he would be there the following Monday or Tuesday. Never showed up or replied to my texts. Called me today, Wednesday to say he would be out to look at the job. Called me back 10 minutes later to tell me that his boss told him to forget it that they were not interested in doing the job at all.....Nice to be so busy to turn down work. I recommend that to avoid headaches that anyone looking for a tree service not to use this, what appears to be, a very poorly run company…..the 5 star reviews have to be paid for.

I can not say enough good things about, Homer Tree Care. I hade a giant 300 year oak split. The tree was much more rotten inside than I knew and it was three feet from my house and very close to my chicken coop and garden. The crew amazed me with their skill in removing it piece by piece without damaging anything on my property. I highly recommend them for any tree work.

Excellent and truly professional. Exceptionally hard workers who came to our property in over a foot of snow to get the job done and competitively priced. You will not beat their price, work ethic or customer satisfaction. Thank you for a job well done!

I had Homer remove a tree and stump. Upon stump removal they cut the line to our sprinkler system. They never bothered to tell me. Upon discovery I called and was told it was my fault because I did not go out and mark my sprinkler lines. I have no idea where the lines are located as the system was here when we moved in. My sprinkler company verified that it would be difficult for us to know where those lines are located in the middle of the yard. Manager was suppose to call me back. I have yet to hear from anyone at Homer. They refuse to pay for their mistake. I will never use them again.

We needed a large tree trimmed. The crew did a great job. The tree looks very nice, symmetrical, and dead branches removed; they cleaned up the area nicely. Professionals. Well done!

After reading some bad reviews of the company I went with them anyway after another tree service had recommended them... was NOT disappointed. We had an ENORMOUS, mostly dead, cottonwood tree looming over my house. They were promt on start time, worked with me on the price, and did it in a 1/4 of the time every other service quoted me. They cleaned up the yard, were curtious and respectful of my neighbors concerns, and even cut up some firewood for me at my request. Hands down best service. I'll recommend them to anyone, and definitely be using them for any future needs. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GUYS.

Just had Homer Tree Service remove a tree that had to come down is pieces as it was right next to the house. They gave a very fair quote two days after being called and less than two weeks later the tree was down. Not only did they cut down and remove the tree they removed two substantial piles of fallen branches that happened to be by this tree without having to be asked. I would not hesitate to call them again; they exceeded expectations.

Fantastic service! Not only did they get the job done correctly, it was within a matter of 5 minutes with no mess to clean up (that was my fear). Highly recommend, thanks for your service guys we will be using them again along with my neighbors who are interested!

So easy to work with, reasonably priced and came out so fast to remove 2 trees for us. The workers took such good care to not cause damage and cleaned up everything. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Just had them come out and cut down a dead Ash tree for me. They came out and did the job a week after I received the quote and approved the work. Very reasonably priced compared to other tree removal services in the area. They took the time to listen to my concerns and answered all my questions. Very respectful about my property in moving their equipment and area around the tree was left very clean.

Ron Reposh from Homer Tree Service turned a routine appointment into providing excellent, caring community service for our subdivision! When my neighbor wasn’t home to meet with Ron, he approached me for information, and immediately began to assess the landscaping needs behind and around our townhomes. He explained what needed to be done, and that Homer Tree Service would be able to do what was needed to ensure our property was properly cleared. When the HOA was called he denied funds to do the work Ron said he would perform the services at no cost because it was needed to preserve the existing landscape. Well, Homer Tree Service did clear the area and now the property looks great and it was all done out of Homer Tree Service’s commitment to landscape preservation and community service! Highly recommended company!

Fantastic service, they were able to do what other "tree" services could not do, or did not have time for. Homer was our 5th attempt to remove dead trees that were very close to falling on my house and fence, I wish we had called them first.

We had a gentleman come out and give us a quote on some branches to be removed from my tree. He came, gave us the quote and this is where the professionalism stopped. We were told 3-5 weeks. We were asked to confirm we can use our neighbors driveway, we were able to get them that answer back within a couple days. They told us it was REALLY important to let them know ASAP. Well, we never got a call back and never got our service. The tree branch became an emergency at the 4 week mark since our quote. Still no word from Homer Tree Service. In fact, when we called to let them know. It seemed like the gentleman that answered the phone had no idea what we were talking about. We had to call an emergency service that came the same day and was professional and quick. We stated to Homer that if the company only took down the one branch we would still like them to come. We never called to cancel and we are at week 7 or 8 since our quote and still no communication. Unfortunately, we heard they were GREAT from a friend. I couldn't disagree more. I obviously did not have time for these games so I gave someone else my business and my tree, my neighbors family and pets, my family and pet are all safe. But not due to this company. Save your time and move onto the next search result.

Maggie was very helpful during the whole process and made everything easy to understand and simple. A task I dreaded having to do because I thought it was going be daunting was made very easy with this company.
Even though they were very busy they made sure to keep me in mind and got to me as soon as they could during every step. They also helped my husband with some shrubbery removal they took away for us as well.
They are all very professional and wonderful to work with for sure. If I ever need anything like tree removal or trimming again, and I am in their serviceable area, I will totally call them again!!!
