John’s Pro Tree Service did tree removal for my neighbor, but they left a mess all over my property. There were branches scattered across my lawn and sidewalk. The crew was walking all over my yard with no regard, and they were even piling tree branches right next to my car — I had to move it just to avoid possible damage. Extremely careless and unprofessional behavior. Just because I wasn’t the paying customer doesn’t mean my property should be treated like a dumping ground. I wouldn’t recommend them based on how inconsiderate they are to nearby homes.

These guys were trimming our neighbor’s tree and came over to our house to access our backyard. We had a sitter with our daughter. These guys continually pounded on the door and when nobody answered took it upon themselves to enter our backyard, absolutely freaking out our sitter and daughter. We almost called 911. When we called the number on their shirts the owner couldn’t be more rude. Then told us it was no different than comed and they had a right to enter our property. When we told him we would call the police he told us “his dad” was the sergeant. Not only a bad businessman but also a total bully who brings up his daddy (?). I wouldn’t trust him with our business.

I was given two bids to remove trees and decided on the first bid, which was $500 less. However, I mistakenly paid Pro Tree $500 too much.
Even after talking to the owner, my overpayment was not returned.
A very disheartening experience that speaks to the owner’s/company’s integrity.

I called because the guys truck was pouring smoke and the owner called me back and honestly didn't even want the plate number or anything. His company is also on google as pro tree service but that's not what the truck says. Seems fishy that when looking up the company nothing lines up🤔 either way I contacted IDOT and reported them and the BBB

Terrible customer service. They ignored my first 3 calls. Then gave me the go-away price for a single tree removal.

If you have small work, don't bring it to them. They don't want it.

Worst company ever! There is not a ruder person on the planet than owner John. They pulled a no-show at my home 8 times! Never returned calls. Then after weeks of not coming, they showed up unannounced when I wasn’t home and butchered my beautiful tree to bits. I told them I wanted to be there to be sure it was done properly.
The job was for lightly pruning a few branches. I almost cried when I saw what the guy did. Stay away from this horrible company- unless you want a lousy, butchering job. They whack off your tree, fast & sloppy and couldn’t care less how it looks. Extremely unprofessional & rude!.
There’s a good reason why they’re rated F by the Better Business Bureau!!

I am so very disappointed with Pro Tree Service. Because they were licensed and bonded, I figured they knew what they were doing. I was so wrong! I had two very tall trees cut down. In the process, they destroyed my yard by running over my grass with there machines, damaged another tree and left mud holes throughout the yard. They did a lousy job of clean up and left the grinding from the stump in a huge pile against my fence. I felt taken advantage of because I was a woman. Pablo tried to make it right, but it still wasn’t enough.

This company worked on a neighbor's tree. They drove their truck into my garden without permission, destroying raised beds and my drip irrigation system. I called and left a voicemail, but they never even acknowledged the property damage they caused, let alone compensated for it.
