Electrical reviews in Mt Prospect, Illinois

We hired LMV Electric to install our EV charger and they were incredible to work with. They helped us find the right location to install the charger, navigate the permitting process and submitted our ComEd rebate. Maggie was an incredible guide throughout the entire process. She is kind, sincere and knowledgeable. Lukas was great to work with and did a wonderful job with the installation. He was punctual and really neat/clean. We will definitely call them for any future needs - they were excellent to work with!!

I recently contacted ComEd regarding their 2025 EV Rebate Program and came across LMV Electric on ComEd’s EVSP list. That’s when I had the pleasure of speaking with Maggie, and I could not have asked for a better experience. From the very beginning, she was exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable, and patient in guiding me through the application process.

Before connecting with Maggie, I had reached out to 10 other EVSP contractors from ComEd’s Electric Vehicle Service Provider List, but none came close to showing the same level of effort, expertise, and genuine willingness to help. Maggie truly went above and beyond, taking the time to answer all of my questions and providing clear, detailed explanations at every step.

What impressed me most was not just her strong understanding of the rebate program, but also her kindness, honesty, and sincerity. She made the entire process feel much less overwhelming and made me feel like a valued customer rather than just another phone call.

It is rare to find someone who combines deep knowledge with such warmth and professionalism. Maggie is without a doubt a tremendous asset, and my experience with her was absolutely outstanding. I am deeply grateful for her assistance and would wholeheartedly recommend working with her—and LMV Electric—to anyone navigating the EV rebate process.

In addition, I also had the pleasure of meeting Lukasz, Maggie’s husband, who handled the installation. His work was exceptionally clean, precise, and professional. Beyond his technical skill, Lukasz was also very kind, approachable, and patient in answering all of my questions. He not only delivered top-quality workmanship but also took the time to share useful information and tips, which I truly appreciated. Together, Maggie and Lukasz make a fantastic team—knowledgeable, trustworthy, and dedicated to providing the best service possible.

Highly impressed with the professionalism of DC Electrical Services. The residential electrician was courteous, respectful, and explained everything in layman's terms.

DC Electric provided excellent service on an electrical panel replacement! Lukas is professional, reliable, personable, and provides excellent service. He scheduled a time that worked for us, arrived exactly on time, and completed within the time estimated. Solid, reasonable, pricing for the work performed. We will be using DC Electric again! This is now my go to electrician referral for friends, family, and acquaintances!

Wonderful experience with DC Electrical Services. Had a ceiling fan and an outdoor motion sensor unit replaced. Lukas came quickly, on time and did a great job. He even cleaned up everything afterwards. I really appreciate his dedicated work ethic. Highly recommend and will definitely hire them again!

Lukas was great!
He replaced my breaker board and also bundled in a new connection for an electric dryer. Super responsive, showed up when he said he would, and got everything done quickly and professionally. Really appreciated how easy he made the whole process. Would definitely recommend him to anyone needing electrical work!

Can always count on them to get what we need.

The best team to help very friendly and professional

Great people to deal with. They have what we need or they get it fast. The support staff is knowledgeable and have been for the last 20 years👍

Our business had Legend Electric change all of our fixtures to LED, they were so on top of everything from estimates to installation. Very professional and informative. I would highly recommend this company.

Paid $1600 for a work half done and the owner decided to drop multiple F bomb at the customer. Threatening to take down all the work they did for asking for partial refund. Not happy at all

Very responsible service and highly recommended

Shepard Electrical Contracting was really great at troubleshooting the problem quickly and being responsive to my requests! I’m a first time home owner and was panicking and he was very calm and patient with me through this which helped. Great service— fixed the issue quickly!

I highly suggest Shepard Electrical Contracting because, although it is uncommon for a business owner to come out and install a single outlet, Walt, the owner, came and installed one for me, and there was no need for repairing afterwards.

Walt, the owner, came and installed an outlet for me. No patching required after. Normally the owner of a business is not coming out to install a single outlet, but that's the kind of operation Shepard Electrical Contracting is. Highly recommend it.
