Edit 2025: these trees are booming! Still so strong.

Dariusz and his crew are amazing! I've used his service 4 times now. When we 1st bought the house, we had half dead bushes in the front, along the side, and all along the back fence. He dug those up and grinded stumps that were growing close to the foundation. He raised the canopy on the tree in the back, but I knew we'd get rid of the tree eventually. A year later, Dariusz got rid of the tree for us and grinded the stump. He also trimmed back a neighbors tree branch that was overhanging on our side. We decided to get privacy trees in the back and Dariusz helped me figure out how many and which kind. He is so knowledgeable and even came out twice to go over everything with me. We decided on 9 Techny Arborvitae and they are AMAZING. His crew worked so fast and they had a lot to deal with. The back was overgrown and lumpy. I can't thank him enough for helping us transform our backyard.

Darius came for an assessment and agreed on a price to trim my trees. Then would not set up a time to actually do the work. I would call and text to figure out a day for him to do the work but he kept pushing me off saying maybe next week. Terrible customer service and makes no sense to agree to a price and not to come do the work! Glad I found someone else otherwise it would not be done because Darius word is unreliable. Would not recommend this company.

Darius responded promptly to my online request, came out to the house within days, provided a fair quote and proof of insurance. I agreed to the contract and he was able to take 2 very tall spruce trees down within days. They did not have to bring any heavy equipment into my backyard. They climbed the trees, used ropes and saws all by hand. Overall, very pleased with work.

I got 4 quotes before deciding to use them. They were not the lowest but I felt most comfortable with Darius. I have 17 full grown trees on my property. He knows trees and seems to care about them as much as I do. He was on time with his crew and they finished within 90 minutes and did a great clean up job. I will be using them for all my tree needs. 😊

This was a wonderful experience- every step of the way. I received prompt, professional responses to my initial inquiries, I received my quote with proof and had my tree removed all within the span of less than a week. It’s so refreshing to do business with someone who still prioritizes customer service and takes pride in their workmanship. I wish I could find more companies like this.

Bad work, didn't complete, complained about being asked to complete the work, tried to overcharge, spoke no English.

I have been using English Maids for over 10 years. Over that time, I have had two different cleaning providers. One stopped working after years of service and parting was so difficult for both of us! When my dog was dying, she came to the animal hospital to have one last visit with my dog. It's unusual for relationships like that to develop over the years with many other employees at other companies. Not so with English Maids. My current cleaning provider is also like family! I have referred English Maids to many family and friends, and everyone has been as happy as I have been. Kind, friendly, outstanding at their job are some of the words I'd describe for the service you can expect. Donna English is always there for questions or help if needed, and has always selected the perfect person for my friends, family and myself.

We have used English Maids for about a year. We think that they are terrific! We have Paulina and she is just great! She is trustworthy,helpful, punctual, and does a terrific job! I am so glad that we found her.I never have to worry about anything when she is around. She is also good with my pet. A great agency to work with. I like the reminder calls that I get the day before my scheduled cleaning. I have referred my daughter and she is happy too!

My wife has been using this service on and off for quite a while now. She finally had someone come to our home on Thursdays, but it wasn't ideal for me as I work from home and had to sequester myself so she could clean.

However, she was the best at cleaning our house and I rue the day I had my wife switch days. Because since then, we have had a string of mediocre cleaning people. Not only are they mediocre, but they are late. We have had them come every other Saturday at 8am. Not one has shown up on time. My wife then calls/texts Donna, who seems to care very little about their whereabouts or that they are late.

Two weeks ago we had someone come to clean. She spent nearly four hours on our 2nd floor. When she told us that our home was insanely dirty and we'd have to pay her more to stay, we said that was ridiculous. How is our home that dirty? The English maids have been coming to our home every other week for months. This "English Maid" was doing a deep clean which we didn't ask for. And when my wife told Donna, she told us we should get a deep clean if our house is that dirty. Then ensued the complaint that her maids did a crappy job all those months.

What took the cake is that a cleaning person was to arrive at our home this morning at 8am. A total no-show.

My wife contacted Donna about this and she said she guessed she wasn't coming and someone else will show up. What the what??? Who runs a business like this. We're done. English Maids is run by the most incompetent business owner.

If you're thinking about using this company, think again. You're better off using a Swifter and doing a half-ass job than calling English Maids. Find someone else. The worst business ever!
