Had an issue with LG refrigerator not cooling and called them on Saturday morning. Gentlemen arrived within the hour to diagnose. He was very polite and reset the fridge. Indicated that the fridge should be good as the compressor was working but that if I had any issues to call him right away and he would come back since he lived locally. Charged $99 diagnostic fee. About 30 minutes after he left the fridge stopped cooling and a clicking noise was back. I called and sent a text, never received a response.

I called another local company and they came out in the afternoon. They diagnosed a faulty compressor and it needed to be replaced.

Would not recommend this service company for LG refrigerator servicing!

Our oven broke the day before Thanksgiving! We didn't bother trying to get a hold of someone to fix it until the day after. Ed was able to come the next day after I called and was able to get our oven working again. He was polite and kind. I will definitely be calling him again for repairs in the future!

Ed arrived when he said he would. He was very professional. Took time to assess the problem and was able to fix it quickly. He is very personable and I would definitely hire him again as I considered his price to be fair.

Ed came out within hours of our call. We had a tangled mess inside our clothes washer. He was prepared. He problemed solved and put in the EXTRA TIME and effort to fix a subsequent problem caused by the mess. Thank you for that. His work space was also very clean and he was very considerate. After reading all of your positive reviews, I called and left a message and Ed called back within 15 minutes. After asking what the problem was with our dryer, he gave me an approximate quote. He told me what time he would be coming to the house and texted to let me know when he had arrived. He was very professional and polite. He had the part to repair our dryer and the estimate he gave was what he charged. Ed went above and beyond by making sure the dryer vent was clear outside and even went into the crawlspace to check the connection of the venting. We will definitely call him again with any future appliance repair needs.

I had a great experience with Mt.Prospect Appliance Repair. I called & left a message. Within 10 minutes Ed called me back. I explained to Ed that my very old Maytag dryer drum was not turning, but it was heating. I was trying to figure out if it was worth repairing the dryer or would I have to buy a new one. Ed said he should be able to stop by that afternoon & asked me to text him my address. Two hours later Ed texted me back that he could be there in 20 minutes. Ed quickly diagnosed the problem, said all I needed was a new belt. He told me he could fix it that day & quoted me a price for both the belt & service.The price was very reasonable & I told Ed to go ahead. He went out to his truck & actually had the belt needed to repair my dryer. An hour later & my dryer was working like new.

My washer decide it wasn’t going to do a spin cycle anymore, leaving me with very wet sheets and towels! I called these folks to see when they could come to have a chat with my recalcitrant washer. They called me back within an hour and came the next afternoon. Ed fixed the washer, replacing a part needed to make it spin! Yay for us, it worked! Great service, a prompt, polite and knowledgeable professional. Plan to use them in the future!
