They did an amazing job landscaping my yard! Not only were they prompt with the original site visit, but the professionalism was there start to finish. I worked with Mike and you could tell he knew what he was doing and cared about the final product. In addition to the new bushes, and pulling a stump out, they were able to repurpose the sod onto dead spots on my lawn. Really appreciative of all the efforts. Would recommend!

Carter Conlin and his team completed the most incredible project for our backyard this last summer. Carter was super fast at responding to every single question or comment that I had through the entire process. He was very punctual when outlining dates for completing the project, and his vision in designing to suit our taste was stellar. We can’t say enough good things about our experience with CB Colin. We purchased our home in 2021 and one of the selling points was its beautiful, award winning garden-landscaped backyard. We knew it was going to require some updates - as it was originally designed early 2000s and was a bit overgrown. After living with it for a few years we knew we needed to make some changes. While it was beautiful to look at, its only real function for our family was to walk the hardscaped path through the plantings - or enjoy from the patio. We never really found ourselves spending much time outside. We met with multiple landscapers and went with CB Colin because of Scott’s design vision and creativity. In addition, we appreciated his timeline, and he was respectful of our budget as well as our request to reuse and preserve as many plantings as possible. Some of the unique challenges of the project included drainage that didn’t impact the hardscape, creating a regulation size space to pitch that didn’t compromise the yard ascetically, and a covered structure with brick to match the older brick walls within the property. Throughout the 3 month process, Scott and Project manager, Tristen provided constant communication. The entire landscape team was a pleasure to work with - positive, efficient, hardworking - and they did a great job cleaning up daily. The end result is amazing! We now have multiple hangout and play spaces along with grass - which we never had before because of the shade from dying trees and overgrowth. Thank you CB Colin - we excitedly await the spring and our first season to fully enjoy our new outdoor space!

We recently completed a full landscape renovation with CB Conlin, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations from start to finish.

Scott led the design phase and was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process. He guided us through some complex permitting challenges with thoughtful solutions and designed a landscape that made exceptional use of our limited space while perfectly aligning with how we wanted to live in and enjoy our outdoor areas.

The scope of the project was extensive. In the backyard, CB Conlin installed beautiful new hardscape, including an outdoor kitchen and TV wall, replaced a stoop, added a paved walkway to the side yard, and planted flowers in new beds bordering the entire space. In the front yard, they transformed a difficult steep area near the street into a stunning plantscape, installed planters along the front, completely repaved the stoop with masonry veneer, replaced the walkway to the driveway with under-paver heating, installed new turf, and seamlessly integrated everything with a new irrigation system.

Tristan, our construction supervisor, was outstanding and served as our primary day-to-day contact. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and highly proactive — managing crews and subcontractors with impressive attention to detail. On multiple occasions he identified and corrected issues before we even noticed them. For example, when conduit was installed in the wrong location within the kitchen slab, Tristan coordinated a fix quickly and with minimal disruption.

The entire crew was hardworking, skilled, and clearly took pride in their craft. What impressed us most was how accommodating Scott and Tristan were to the many change orders we proposed — sometimes almost daily. They never seemed frustrated and consistently worked to incorporate our ideas while keeping the project on schedule.

Communication throughout the project was excellent. Scott and Tristan stayed in constant contact, regularly checked in for feedback, and ensured we felt informed and involved every step of the way. The project was delivered on time, and the final result truly surpassed our expectations.
