Had been putting off dealing with this dead tree in the backyard for like two years. finally decided to stop ignoring it when a big branch came down after a storm and barely missed the patio furniture. looked up a few tree removal companies and went with Verda based on the reviews. they came out for the estimate and told me the tree was worse off than i thought so good thing i didnt wait any longer. scheduled the removal for the following week. crew was there around 8am and had the whole tree down by early afternoon. they took care of the stump too. what really mattered to me was that the other trees nearby in our Oak Park yard werent damaged at all during the process. hauled everything away and i finally have a backyard that doesnt stress me out

verda took out a row of old bushes along the side of the house that were completely overgrown and trimmed back two trees in the backyard. the bushes were like 8 feet tall and so thick you couldn't see through them at all, took up probably 4 feet of yard space on that side. they ripped everything out including the root balls and hauled it all away same day. the trees in the back were a different story, one was an oak that needed deadwood cleaned out and the other was some kind of ornamental that had just gone wild. both look way better now, more open and shaped up without looking like they were hacked at. the yard feels bigger with those bushes gone and the trees thinned out. they were careful around the fence and the beds next to the house too

Called Verda because we had an overgrown mess of bushes along the back fence and a dead tree near the garage. They answered right away and set up a time to come look at it within a couple days. Estimate was clear, no confusing line items or anything. Day of they brought the right equipment and just handled it. The bushes were ripped out completely and the tree came down without any issues. Took maybe half the day for everything. Yard looks so much better now, actually feels like we have space back there again.
