Paul Bunyan & Sons tree removal services did a great job of removing a tree from my backyard that could've caused damage to my home if a major storm was to hit. Not only did they remove the tree and the stomp but they also trimmed other trees that were hanging over my house and my neighbors garage without any extra fees. The company is very reasonable and even if they're not able to get to you at a prompt time, just be patient because they'll definitely get to you and when they do, you won't be disappointed. I was actually discounted due to my appointment being pushed back a week because of major storms which caused a lot of tree damage in a lot of areas but at the end of it a I'm very happy with the work and the professionalism of Paul Bunyon and Sons.

No more having to pick up numerous fallen branches from my Chinese Elm following a windy event! The crew did a fantastic job cleaning out the tree and removing a large "branch" that was dying due to major trim by another service a few years back, against my best judgment, but not the neighbors'!! Tim's customer service approach is friendly, so that I felt like he could be part of my family. Cleanup was perfect! I have already recommended them to a friend up my Elmhurst street, and plan to continue spreading the good news. Thank you Paul Bunyon and crew!!

Tim called me and said he would be at the site that afternoon. He called me later with a quote. He assured me the job would be done properly. It was. He was out the very next afternoon with a crew to remove an evergreen that was the width of the east end of the house. Great Joy Tim & Crew.

Rather than writing all the details.....Tim helped us out of an emergency with a huge Mulberry in our backyard. That service was excellent it took two days....the problem now is the pieces of the trunk of the tree are in our front yard. It has been a week and those large pieces are still here.
I realize that Tim is busy.....but now his sign reads FREE WOOD because I'm not sure how else to get rid of the wood. I have contacted him and he has said he would be here, but to no avail.
Update: Tim came by today, and all the wood was cleaned up and taken away. He was having difficulties with his trucks.
Our free wood sign came down. Tim also cut a few extra things for me. All is well.

my back yard.  After the work was completed, he assured me all the tree roots were gone and there would be no more issues.  During the conversation as to what he would take care of, but not part of the actual agreement, was taking out a second block of concrete to ensure there were no roots and removing roots inside the fence to ensure they were dead.  Upon the job being completed, he explained there was no live roots under the buckled concrete which he initially agreed to remove and confirm the ones in the fence were dead, which he also agreed to get rid of. My issue at this point is that I had someone to come out to provide an estimate to replace the concrete that was removed as part of the job Tim completed and was told there were still live roots under the buckled concrete.  I reached out to Tim to ask him to come back by and confirm those roots were dead and he said he would but never showed up.  I placed two more calls to him asking if he was still coming, and he committed to times but never showed up. This all took place in July, within a matter of weeks after the job was completed.   My concern at this point is that he is not standing behind his work and now that money has been collected, he is no longer concerned for the customer.  It’s very disheartening to be told several times that you would show up and never follow through.  It seems he Is he not concerned about having return customers! Tim was great. He and his guys are super busy but still made time to help me with a dangerous tree that had limbs falling all over my neighbors yards. What I thought was 1 tree had three stumps. His guys worked in the blazing heat for 2, 10 hour days plus 2 extra days.

Tim is a very personable guy and keeps in contact with you.
