Tree reviews in O'Fallon, Illinois

Roots did some major limb removal and crown reduction for me. They did an awesome job for a fair price. In and out quick and a great job cleaning up.

Kept appointments promptly. Efficient work. Polite and helpful. Excellent cleanup. Office staff very helpful.

I am absolutely satisfied with the service I received. I had a large tree cut down and the stump removed and the team was extremely careful and professional.

Roots provided top notch service. They came and took a tree down and thinned out our pine trees. It looks terrific. They cleaned up the area and you wouldn't of known that there was a even a tree there at one time. I highly recommend them!

Great tree service! Easy to text, quick to respond, convenient to schedule, and they trimmed 7 trees perfectly with excellent clean up.

I sleep better at night without the overgrown tree branches hanging over my bedroom dropping gumballs. The guys at Roots are awesome.

Referred to from another local business, they came out in less than a day to take pictures and received a good quote, 2 days later, the job was done; although there was a small unintentional discrepancy, they made it right.

I've used Roots for 2 stump grinding jobs. Their prices are very competitive and the estimate process is very convenient. The guys are very nice and I highly recommend them.
The 1st job I paid them to fill in the hole with dirt after the stump removal from bushes I had removed. The dirt was filled with so many rocks it took me a year to try and clear out all those rocks before planting grass seeds.
The 2nd job I paid them to remove a tree stump and the chips but I still had to go back and remove remaining chips. I now have a trash can full of chips & dirt sitting in my garage. I was able to get rid of one barrel full of chips and dirt but I still have a trash can remaining. I'm planning to plant grass and didn't want to plant it over wood chips as it can cause mushrooms to grow on the surface when the wood chips decay.

I would say just communicate exactly what you're trying to do and they will accommodate you as much as they can.

We were very happy for the most part with their service. They could have done a little better job cleaning up limbs and branches from the ground. We spent a bit of time racking and cleaning up

This entire experience was such a blessing! Roots was so kind and they did an excellent job. Don’t go anywhere else, just call Roots!

We were extremely pleased with Roots! They were quick and efficient with their work, and very respectful of our property. They cleaned up everything including raking fallen leaves and cleaned the surrounding area with a leaf blower. We will use them again!

This is the second time we have used Roots. They have reasonable prices and are quick. Clean up was not as perfect this time as last, but it was those really hot days when they did the work. I will hire them again.

Roots tree service did an excellent job pruning the neigbor tree that had extended over my roof. Roots tree arrived early evaluated what needed to be done and executed the plan to perfection. I will definitely call Roots again if service is needed.

I have used Roots tree service for tree/ stump removal in the past and they did an amazing job! Quick and great cleanup!! This time around I used Roots tree service for tree injections for my young dogwoods. The technician was knowledgeable- diagnosed my trees and gave them the proper treatment and followed up on their progress as well. I would highly recommend Roots for any and all tree services!

Representative was timely and very knowledgeable. He explained in detail what the issue was with our tree. He returned a few days later and applied the treatment.

Great service and did a fantastic job on trimming my out of control sweet gum tree, along with a couple of other of my trees. The price was very reasonable when compared to some other quotes I received too. I thoroughly recommend!

They took out one large dying tree along with the stump and two other stumps in my yard, and made it look like they were never there!! My yard looks soo much better with having them gone. They did an amazing job!

Came out to evaluate, got us on schedule quickly, worked with us to get the tree down, was right up on the fence, and there was some slight damage, they helped us to get that all fixed quickly and easily, was very happy with the experience working with them and would do it again.

Great communication and quick delivery of a good pile of wood chips for a good price! Will order again. Thanks!

Great work removing stumps - area left filled and flat. They had a reschedule because of equipment breakdown but you gotta expect that - grinding stumps is hard on equipment. My job was small and they were in and out in 2 hours. For small jobs, predicting when the work will be done is hard, but it would have been helpful to have a +/- 3 day window. Would definitely use Roots again.

Rudi and his crew are the best. Got 6 quotes on removing 2 trees from backyard. Roots was the only one that didnt need me to remove half my fence to get big truck in. Rudi scaled the tree like a spider monkey and started dropping branches with precision avoiding power lines, fence, and the pool. Both 60 ft pines were down in a few hours. Came back the next day and ground all the stumps. Like there were never trees there. Great professionalism and grace.
