Tree reviews in O'Fallon, Illinois

Crew can when expected. The work done was very satisfactory. Crew was friendly and clean-up after job was excellent.

Roots did an excellent job taking down a huge tree in my yard. The guys were extremely professional, and the price was the lowest in the area. satisfied customer for sure!!!!

We recently hired Roots to take down a few trees at a rental house and also to take down a tree and “raise the skirt” on one at our residence. They were timely with their inspection, we received a competitive bid right away, and the work was promptly scheduled and completed in a professional manner. We will definitely use them again.

The crew was awesome. Worked hard and smart. I will recommend them to friends and family. They worked with me to get all my needs done and with my budget, what more can you ask for. Thanks Root’s you rock.

Roots did a great job removing my giant, diseased pin oak. They were super responsive and very fairly priced. I would absolutely use them again.

We Would Like To Thank Roots For Doing A Great Job. Rob And The Workers Were Very Professional! Rob Took His Time And Explained Everything And Kept His Word. The Yard Looks Great! We Will Definitely Recommend Roots To Friends, Families, And Co-Workers. We Will Be Using Roots Again In The Near Future.

Pricing was fair & the guys who did the work did a great job. They listened to my input & did a thorough job of the clean up.

Roots has been a breath of fresh air for our commercial business! They have been wonderful to work with and communication is top notch. The peace of mind during winter weather is priceless!

Very professional group of tree cutters. They came to our house introduce themselves. They knew exactly which trees to cut down. They started off with a bigger tree in the backyard and then went to the front tree that needed to get removed. They left our yards in good condition. They came with a large truck and put all the limbs of the tree and tree trunk. Then they swept yard of any debris. I highly, highly recommending your service! Very professional.

Excellent Service!!! Recently after snow storm on January 25 2026 in Mascoutah a Root Service person removed snow from my Driveway entrance…and get this…FOR FREE!!! I was Over-The-Moon that this company/person would help me a Senior Citizen and not Charge me. What Integrity..I will most definitely use this company and endorse them to my friends in the future!!!!!! Thanks ROOTS!!!!!!!👌👌👌

Did a good job removing 3 stumps from my daughter’s yard. Was not happy with their notifications about when they would be at her house. They had to quit in the middle of the job because of rain and did not notify us if or when they would return to finish.

Excellent service, professional crew. I will use this service for every tree issue I have. They go above and beyond to take care of the customer and I highly recommend them. The were the highlight of my post tornado clean up and storm repair.

An excellent experience with using the company Roots. From the bidding process, they were willing to take on a smaller project that was difficult to get to because my backyard is fenced in by my neighbors. After accepting the bid they were out within one week and had the tree removed to my specifications. Then within two weeks, the stump was removed. Would highly recommend and I will be using them for future tree trimming and removal services.

Roots was great to work with, quick responses during any of our communication and very excellent service. They have great technology to get even the biggest trees down in a timely fashion.

The free estimate process was seamless, they made a few suggestions and worked with me and the decisions I made due to my available budget.

After the work was done, they did a fantastic job clearing as much debris as possible and I really appreciate that.

Great service from the first contact through service days and follow up. We had a huge oak tree with thousands of galls. The tree was sick and dropping limbs so we could not park our vehicle anywhere near it. We were stunned at the equipment they used to methodically and carefully remove the tree from the top down. I highly recommend Root’s Tree Service! While we’re sad that this tree is gone, it was the safest thing to do. Job requested and completed within one week in January 2026.

I couldn’t be more satisfied with Roots. They communicated perfectly throughout the process, gave me a very fair price to remove a tree, and finished the work ahead of schedule. I will certainly be using them again in the future.

I have had the pleasure of working with this tree service company on two separate occasions over the past two years, and each experience has been exceptional. Their team demonstrates a high level of professionalism, skill, and dedication to their craft. They are attentive to customer needs, take the time to understand each project, and deliver results that exceed expectations.

Beyond their technical expertise, they are courteous, respectful, and a pleasure to work with. It is clear they take pride in their work and value customer satisfaction. I highly recommend their services to anyone in need of reliable, high-quality arborist work.

I really appreciate the short notice evaluation of a split in the trunk of a tree that could have collapsed half of it on my house. They came out within an hour of seeing my pictures for a quote and were out first thing in the morning to remove it.

This is the third time we had ROOTS take down BIG 30+ year old 50+ foot pine trees we inherited when we bought our home. All three times their service has been superb. From initial contact to final clean up I can't find any faults or criticisms. I recommended them to a neighbor and he was able to piggy back on my service call and they took down a similar tree on his property. They are the PRO's you want and need when removing buy trees on your property.

Roots took care of my tree trimming, removal and stump grinding for a competitive price. They did the job professionally and in a timely fashion. I absolutely recommend them for your yard care needs.

Great job, great crew were attentive to my needs. They cleaned up as best they could and insured I was please with their work. I plan to use their service in the future when needed!
