Trevor was awesome ! He totally repaired our attic fan. It was expensive but worth it. We really appreciated him climbing in our hot as hell attic and fixing it because I'm sure it was no picnic especially with what the temps have been lately. would highly recommend.

Excellent service. Very thorough and knowledgeable, We requested a service check of both our HVAC and plumbing systems including sump pumps. RJ Kuhn provided both an HVAC professional and a plumber to cover their areas of expertise. Reasonable cost. We will continue to do business with them!

I cannot say enough good things about this company; from the office staff, to the tech and management, everyone was wonderful. They replaced my furnace and tested the AC. Every step was explained in detail, every question I had answered. Things were done in an incredibly timely manner. I highly recommend R. J. Kuhn as they truly go above and beyond. I will be telling all my friends in the area to use them.

Noticed A/C not working this morning, I currently work from home, A/C is essential. Called RJ Kuhn, they came out within 2 hrs, Leo was great, everything was explained, he showed me what needed to be done, easy to talk to, great service & the cost was fair. Thank you for taking the stress out & making it an enjoyable experience.

Fast friendly professional service! They fit me in so I did not have to miss work. I have a reactive pup that gets upset when the door bell rings. They were nice enough to notice my sign and Allert me accordingly.

My main water drain had a hole and Todd came out and fixed it on a Friday night on a holiday weekend! Unbelievably inexpensive! Todd was so great. I can’t put into words how great this company is. Very happy customer right here😊

RJ Kuhn does good work and uses quality products, like Bradford White water heaters, but even with those things in mind, they are quite expensive. They installed a water heater and charged me $230 over the quoted price to replace a small, simple shutoff valve and re-hang maybe 6 ft of PVC pipe, which I consider excessive. The basic quoted price of over $2800 also seems quite high considering that the exact model of water heater they installed is currently advertised at ~$1500, and that a single person installed the unit in three hours.

Really disappointed in the service we received at this company. We were recommended this company by one of our neighbors and unfortunately did not have a good experience at all. We called them as our basement/sewer drains were backing up/overflowing. They ended up using the camera to figure out where the issue was. There was a clog that they cleared up for us, used the camera again to “assure it was clear” and we were then told that we should have no more issues. The problem is not even a month later and our sewer/basement drains are backing up AGAIN. We tried to call the company again to see if they had any sort of guarantee or even just to find out why this was happening again so soon, when we were initially told that we should have no more issues. When we called back because the issue was happening again ( not even a full month since they “fixed” our issue), they said that they had told us that we had a “rough sewer drain” and this was likely only a temporary fix (although we were not ever actually told this). During their initial visit, the two men that came to fix our sewer drains used a camera, “cleared the clog” and said that our drains were all cleared up. They showed my parents a video of “our drains” and it was completely black and nothing was visible. My parents being trusting , said they didn’t know what they were looking at, but they trusted him if he said that it was fixed. He told them he guaranteed them it wouldn’t happen again. When I called to talk to Rick he said that “there is no guarantee” and that his guys would’ve “never said that it was guaranteed to be fixed”. Today we hired new plumbers due to the fact that there was no guarantee. The new company we hired told us that they completely neglected to check the two other drains that were in the basement. They were both clogged and were completely dirty. It took them about an hour to fix our problems and it cost half the price for a better job. I did try to speak with Rick (one of the owners) on the issue and he quickly became defensive and he had no resolution for me, not a “let me help you fix this issue”, no “I’m sorry” Instead when I mentioned everything to him he said “I’ll make sure to never take you guys on as customers ever again”, not that we would ever want to use this company after the poor service and worse customer service. When I told him that I’d be posting a review on my poor experience and these scam /lazy at best services he stated “and I’ll respond to it”. Awaiting that response so he can continue to lie and say that they did everything correctly. An apology would have been a better way to go about this. I hope others think twice before utilizing this company, and if they do I hope your experience is better than the one we had!

We couldn't be happier with the service we received from RJ Kuhn. Todd installed our Tankless Water Heater, and also removed the two 40 gallon tanks we were replacing. Rick and Todd both answered my million questions. They do great work, I definitely recommend them. (The picture is of the new tankless heater they installed and the circles on my floor are where the old tanks were removed.

Quick response. Todd was extremely professional and helpful. Not only did he completely resolve our issue, he also gave some helpful advise about our furnace pump. Total cost was within the estimated range. I hopefully won't have any issues for awhile, but if I do I will use these guys again and I would recommend them to anyone needing plumbing service. We had a new water heater installed. As usual we had excellent service. Eric did a great job answering all of our questions and cleaned up perfectly. This company always does a great job.

I was referred to this company by Roy Frye Oswego Service Group in Oswego because they couldn't find the studs in my bathroom to install a grab bar. Well, I called Friday evening, and they called back Monday morning at 7:15am. and said someone could come out today 11/25/2024. Well, nobody showed up or even called to say they can't make it. I called Roy and left a voice mail, and he never called me back or this company. I literally got ghosted by 2 companies who should be ashamed of themselves. I'm having a major surgery and needed a grab bar and got nothing. Companies like this don't deserve to stay in business! The pandemic is over, so there no excuse for the unprofessional behavior. Please find someone better to service your needs because these companies are not it.

Worst plumbers ever had them come out to install water heater never worked had to hire another plumber to install water heater so it would not leak After there done with job you will still have leaking plumbing issues. Do not hire this company Big waste of money

We had a new garbage disposal installed to the tune of $438.00 After the installation, there was standing water in the dishwasher. I asked them to check out this problem and was told that is was an appliance problem and they don't repair appliances. As our dishwasher was relatively new, I insisted that it was not the appliance. 3 times I was told to call an appliance repair company. So we did only to find out that R J Kuhn had not installed the disposal properly, hence the standing water in the dishwater. We had incurred a $165.00 bill from the appliance company. We respectfully asked R J Kuhn to reimburse us the $165.00 for their mistake. After 5 phone calls and an unpleasant visit to their office, they finally relented and reimbursed us the $165 we paid to the appliance repair company for their mistake. This was a very frustrating and stressful experience. They should have responded in a friendly professional manner which obviously didn't occur. I would not recommend them not because of their workmanship, but because they didn't want to even entertain that the situation was their mistake and when it was discovered that it was, their response was absolutely unacceptable.

Contacted RJ Kuhn Plumbing after my basement contractor sent a list of referrals. They were so nice on the phone, helpful, and quick to answer questions before they even came out to look at the job and give an estimate. It took less than a week for them to come out (it was not an emergency) and when Rick came out he was super helpful. Some other companies handed me a flyer, said "here this is what we sell" and left, but he stayed and looked at my pumps, answered all of our questions, explained everything in tons of detail, and then promptly provided us with three different estimates, all which had different possibilities for the job. After I received the estimates we had a phone conversation to walk me through the proposals, make sure I understood the differences, and talk to me about what would be the best fit for our needs.

Overall, I have been so pleased with my experience and would use RJ Kuhn again and would recommend them to family or friends. Even the woman who answers the phone is so nice and helpful!

We contacted RJ Kuhn for our last couple of plumbing emergencies. We could not be happier with the quality of their work and the service we received from every employee. The woman that answered the phone kept us informed of when we could expect someone to be here. The plumbers were polite, efficient and the quality of the installation exceeded our expectations!

I had a wonderful experience working with Rick Kuhn Plumbing. Donna and Michelle were very responsive and courteous whenever I called to book my appointment. And the plumber they sent out not only arrived on time, but was also very professional and kind. He was able to quickly idetify/locate the source of my leak and fix it in no time! He also cleaned up after himself afterwards which I really appreciated as well. I would highly recommend them for any plumbing needs.

RJ Kuhn Plumbing Heating Cooling Inc provided excellent service for my home plumbing repair. I appreciated their professionalism and sense of care. Eric and Andrew quickly diagnosed, explained what needed to be done and repaired in an efficient manner. My vote of confidence in this company.

I recently encountered a sewage back up and called RJ Kuhn requesting an emergency call out. I spoke with Rob who listened to my concerns and advised that Greg was on a call currently and I was next in line. Rob was polite and lent an open ear for someone who was panicking about the situation. Rob reassured me the problem would be fixed and was expecting Greg to be at my house in about 1 hour. As promised, Greg showed up a short time later.
Once Greg got onsite, I explained the situation. He came up with an action plan, explained it to me in detail what he wanted to do and went to work. After nearly 2 hours, Greg managed to punch through the blockage. During the entire time, he was professional, detail oriented, and explained what he was doing every step of the way. He also took care to prevent any messes and thoroughly cleaned up afterward. Greg's hard work allowed us to go on with daily life until a more suitable time was available to come back to thoroughly route the pipes.
Approximately 1 week later, Greg returned. This time he routed the pipes from the clean out port to the city main line. He allowed me to see the roots in the sewer line and the end result when he completed the job. Once again he was professional and explained what he was doing the entire time...making sure to clean up afterwards. It is comforting to know that Greg truly cares about the customer and enjoys what he does. Greg said that he thought my pipe had sheared slightly and while routing the pipe will fix the problem, it is only temporary since the roots will likely return. He said that he would provide all of the information and video to Rick at the office and I should get a call back with an estimate to replace the pipes. Three hours later, I received call from Rick. Rick stated that although it is not something I need to fix immediately, he confirmed what Greg found and provided an estimate to permanently fix the pipe. It this kind of team work and attention to detail that really stand out to me.
That being said, I would highly recommend RJ Kuhn for your plumbing needs. Their professionalism, experience and attention to detail convinced me that I will never use another plumber. Thank you Rob, Greg and Rick!

LOVE these guys! I had a plumbing blockage in a new home I just purchased 3 months ago
I called two other plumbers both who said that the blockage could not be rodded out and would require demolition/excavating of my front yard and cost over 5 grand !
RJ Kuhn sent out Leo to our place and he was determined to find the blockage and clear it..
Which he did!! Took him awhile but he did not give up and I’m so so so grateful he saved me from a huge headache and charged a fair price for the amount of time he worked
