Brown gave me the best of several estimated to remove two large pine trees in the back yard. The work was completed within 10 days in just. few hours. The crew of 5 were polite, professional, and careful. Everything was cleared very well, including the stumps and some "weed" trees and bushes that were taken out for free. Would definitely recommend this company.

Working with Ken and Brown Tree Service was great. When I called and spoke to Ken and explained a few things, he immediately knew what the issue was with my Birch tree and also came by to help consult on a couple new trees I wanted. He is very knowledgeable and also a pleasure to talk to. I had a sick tree removed, one very large and four smaller bushes removed, multiple stumps ground, pine trees pruned, and then purchased and had planted 4 Blue Muffin Viburnum (bushes), one Royal Raindrop crabapple tree, and one Red Peacock crabapple tree. I would highly recommend their services.

Brown Tree Service did an excellent job trimming my trees and bushes. The man that was in the limbs of my tree was so precise in lowering the heavy limbs by rope. He avoided my roof, my deck, my gutters and my overhead wires which were all in close proximity of my tree.

We had a great experience with Brown Tree Service. We noticed two large SIberian Elm trees were in bad shape and in close proximity to our house. We contacted Brown Tree via their website and received a response back almost immediately. Ken came out a the following Tuesday (original contact was the Friday afternoon of Memorial Day weekend) and emailed us a quote that night. We returned the signed contact that Friday and work was completed the following Wednesday. We had requested that they leave firewood behind from the removal to which they stacked it in our wood rack for us! BTS even offered to relocate the stump mulch to nearby planting beds at no additional charge. So very impressed with this company and would absolutely use them again for future tree care! Everything looks great.

Brown Tree Service took down 2 huge trees, ground the stumps and surface roots. Also trimmed a tree. Very professional, did a great job and cleaned everything up. Very happy with their work.

This review is late as we had 5 trees removed and stumps ground in the spring of 2020. Professional crew was on time, protected our lawn and property. Great experience dealing with Ken and his happy with the quality service. My neighbor was impressed enough that he had them take care of his tree needs.

I have used Brown Tree service for 10 years. Prior to Brown I used several others. All the same. Poor quality work, poor Clean up and poor Communication. Brown tree is fantastic. Today they removed 3 dead trees and pruned several other large ones. Ken is honest and professional. He knows trees and what to do. When they finished up you could not even tell they were here. I would like to express our sincere thanks to Brown Tree Service for an outstanding job. Our Association has worked with various arborists and landscape contractors in the past 10 years and we have not been satisfied. We were planning to have some trees planted in 2017 but we could not find a contractor that we were happy with. We were resolved to put off our planting until 2018. We happened to see Brown Tree Service planting some beautiful evergreens in a neighboring subdivision in the fall. We gave Brown Tree Service a call and Ken came out to discuss plant types and pricing. Ken was wonderful to deal with. He is very personable and has a vast knowledge of his industry. His vision for setting up “landscape scenes” is remarkable. Ken is a down to earth guy and wants to do what is right for the customer.
We discussed plant types and locations, tree removals and we were happy with what Ken was proposing. Later that afternoon we received a very colorful and professional proposal, along with a Certificate of Insurance via email. We approved the proposal and sent it back. Utility locations were performed and within three days the crew was here in the early morning removing trees. Later that day the truck arrived from the nursery with plants that we though could not possibly be ours. We knew the size of the trees that we purchased but these were beyond our expectations. The crew was very polite and professional. The equipment they brought with, were some amazing pieces of machinery. Ken was also on site for a good part of the day.
We were so pleased by Ken’s operation that we asked for a tree pruning proposal for the whole subdivision. Ken walked the property with us and we had a proposal the next day. A four man crew was here in January for two days with a vast array of equipment. Again, the crew was very polite and professional and their cleanup was outstanding. The trees look great and we can’t wait until spring to see them leaf out. (Note, we normally pruned 1/3 of our trees each year and never noticed any difference. Now we will pruning on a 3 year cycle with a 1/3 cost savings)
We are already planning to meet with Ken later in the year to go over our 2018 tree replacement schedule.

Brown Tree Service trimmed two silver maples in my backyard that were in desperate need of a trimming. The crew that came to my house were professional, efficient, and took care of business. The trees went from looking overgrown to looking like well-trimmed pieces of broccoli. Once they were done, they cleaned up, raked and used the leaf blower, and put everything back the way they found it in the backyard. I highly recommend Brown Tree Service to anyone! I could not be happier with Brown Tree Service. Originally, they were hired to remove our neighbors very large tree that was falling into our yard and after a conversation with the owner, Ken, my wife and I decided to have our dead spruce trees removed. They ended up removing one that same day, and then came back out the next week to remove the other 6. They did all of that in just one day and did it professionally and at a very fair price. The on site workers were incredibly nice and overall they were great to work with. I highly recommend Brown Tree Service!

Work was performed with concern for yard and obstructions. Edison did not show to remove power line but crew worked around the line even though it took longer than planned. Cleaned up property when finished as well as they could.

Ken gave us great ideas on trimming our mature trees, plus advice on replacing our near-dead crabapple tree in the front yard in the fall. Excellent job removing one tall Silver Maple and pruning one of the same. Cleanup is difficult after a grinding but the crew did a very good job.

Bookkeeping on the other-hand is another story: been a few days now and no charge. Like what' up with that?
