Tree reviews in Palatine, Illinois

Very satisfied with Brown Tree Service. They came out the next morning after requesting an invoice for tree stump removal. The work was done efficiently, and the area was left very clean and their pricing was very reasonable

The crew efficiently removed the tree and stump. The men were pleasant, professional and left the area clean. Price was great!

I asked 3 tree care companies for a quote to cut down two trees in our yard. Only Brown Tree sent me a detailed proposal with an acceptable price.
I thought that the removal of the tress was done in a professional manner and the crew cleaned up afterwards. About a week later, the stumps were removed by one person with a specialized piece of equipment.
Overall, I was pleased with Brown Tree’s work – there was collateral damage to some plants but it’s difficult to avoid. My only complaint is that I was not given a heads-up (either phone call or email) for either visit. Brown Tree showed up unannounced. That is why they get a four-star rating.

Brown Tree Service removed 5 enormous trees from my property today. Terrific company to work with. Could not be happier. Owner Ken responded same day to my inquiry for an estimate and work was completed within 2 business days of my initial call. Very knowledgeable in prioritizing which trees were a hazard to the house and which could easily wait for a later date. Excellent price, good communication, pleasant to work with, crew were like artists handling the equipment, worked fast while safely dropping big limbs and downing big trunks accurately. Excellent job cleaning up afterwards and left a big load of wood chips at my request.

Brown's gave us a very fair estimate. They showed up on time to do the job, offering good advice as to the large Maple trimming. The tree experts were efficient in cutting - and also cleaning up and removing limbs. We're very happy and plan on hiring them to do more of our trees.

I've used Brown Tree Service twice now. Initially last year to remove a dead tree from our lawn and this year for landscaping replacement. Ken and co-workers were quick to come out for a quote, and removed the tree within 3 days. They were so easy to work with. After having our tree removed, we looked into their landscaping services knowing that we wanted to freshen up the front of our house. We had them come back out to put in new bushes, a new tree, and we are thrilled with the results. It looks like a brand new home! They do such a nice job, and are very reasonably priced for the quality of work. Everyone I've been in contact with from Brown Tree Service has been a delight to work with, I highly recommend them!

Dustin Brown and his crew were so wonderful!!! Very professional!!!

We had an 100 year old oak tree, with branches hanging over our home and our neighbors home, and they took the entire tree and stump down so efficiently, so safely, and so quickly!!!

His crew worked like a well oiled running machine!!!

Great team work!!!

Could have not asked for better service!!!!

He bid us a job and went above and beyond on the bid!!! He even took out 2 old tree stumps that we had in our yard that was not even apart of the bid!!!

We highly recommend him and his team!!!! We will definitely be using him and his crew again for our next tree service!!!!!
Thank you Mr. Brown and your team!!!!!!

See y’all in the spring!

Ken is passionate about trees and super knowledgeable. His whole crew was professional, on-time, and did quality work. I am so happy with my new landscaping - - the trees are gorgeous. Highly recommend for trimming, removal, as well as suggestions on types of trees and bushes.

Brown Tree Service just removed a very large Oak tree that had pests. They are the best company around. I feel confident that when I deal with this company, the work will be done right the first time. There were no problems with the tree removal and the crew did a fantastic job. There wasn't anything to clean up after they left. This company has all the equipment needed to do the job and a knowledgeable crew. We have used Brown Tree Service for over 15 years. They are knowledgeable whether it be tree removal, pests, trimming, or new plantings. I would recommend this company with no reservations. They might not be the cheapest around, but they are THE BEST!

This company is amazing. Friendly, professional service, prompt scheduling and reasonable pricing. Had a tree come down in the storm and they were out the next day. They are very responsive and truly value your business. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend Brown Tree Service to anyone in need of tree trimming/removal etc. Ken came out to our home, gave a fair/reasonable quote and explained the WHY behind what he quoted. Within 24 hrs we had a written quote and 24 hrs after that his team was out to tim up our tree and the team was safe, efficient and kind! They removed limbs, stabilized the tree and cleaned everything up all within an afternoon. The communication/plan was consistent and clear throughout the whole process. Will definitely use them in the future as needed and already gave our neighbor info to contact Brown Tree Service their tree to be trimmed up too.

Brown Tree was prompt, professional and friendly. I had to have a tree removed and the stump ground down and they walked my property and pointed out the benefits of pruning 3 of my larger trees. I am very happy with the results.

I needed a large dying 45 ft tree taken down in my back yard and a big sycamore that needed pruned, cut back and shaped. Called the phone listed and talked to a real person (Mr. Brown) on my first attempt. We scheduled an appointment for the next day. Mr. Brown showed up on time, he elevated the situation and gave me what I thought was an honest bid. We ended up taking down 3 trees and grinding the remaining stumps. This company’s equipment is top notch, clean and well maintained. A team of four professionals did the work statement in five hours. My yard was raked, and all the debris were removed. I absolutely recommend Brown Tree Service. I give them 5 prefect well deserved stars

We have worked with Brown Tree Service twice now.
First, when a tree fell across our driveway. We had a crew working to clear it that same day. They made quick work of a massive old tree and did an excellent job.
Most recently, we wanted to remove another very large tree positioned awkwardly between our garage, house, and powerlines. Once again the crew provided excellent work in short order. The team that came back for the stump were also excellent.

Looking forward to working with Ken and Team in the future!

Brown removed a very large tree which was located in a difficult area of our yard. Everything went perfectly and we are so pleased. The price was reasonable, the crews pleasant and the fact that I was kept informed during the process was a bonus. I would highly recommend Brown Tree Service.

Crew navigated equipment skillfully around extensive plantings with minimal contact. Thorough removal of dead limbs and shaping of remaining branches. Cleanup was attentive and the request to leave chipped branches/mulch was met with courteous accommodation.

We were thrilled with our tree and stump removal. Ken came out very quickly to give us an estimate, and they were there within a week to take it down. The crew was amazing, very professional and precise with excellent communication throughout. The equipment used was top-notch, and the clean-up was so thorough that one would never have known they were even there! After JULIE arrived to mark the utilities, they came back to remove the stump and we can barely even tell there was ever a tree in that location. Even the neighbors came out to watch and were impressed! Highly recommended.

They were doing some work at a neighbors house and my wife asked them about a few large trees we needed trimmed. They quoted and came out the same day. The workers were very consciences of the landscaping, grass and my neighbors house when they did the work. They did the work on time and at the quoted price. Highly recommend these guys.

I was very impressed with the entire process from start to finish. The owner, Ken, personally came out to walk my property with me and explained which trees needed to be removed or cleaned up. His quote was fair, so I moved forward with the job.

The crew showed up on time this past Monday, communicated clearly, and treated my property like it was their own. I highly recommend Brown Tree Service.

In fact, I just signed a new agreement with them to plant some new trees now that the dead ones are gone.

Ken and his crew did an outstanding job on my property and I was very satisfied with their work. Kens communication was excellent and his knowledge on all things trees/landscape made the process and result better than I could have anticipated. Would surely recommend

Excellent response time and expert consultation and service. Ken answered my many questions in detail. HIs crew was on time and worked quickly to take down and chip a huge blue spruce as well as to trim two other trees. They left my property cleaned up and ready for re-planting of a replacement tree, which Ken assisted me in choosing. I definitely will recommend this professional! Thanks, Ken!
