From the scheduling process to the actual service- 10’s across the board. They called and were able to get us in a day earlier than expected. Val was fantastic. The service needed was more complex than we originally thought and even though it was at the end of the day Val was determined to get us up and running. After lots of up and down stairs/ladders- we had cool air before we went to bed. Super appreciative and we highly recommend.

It all started with a project as simple as replacing the bathroom exhaust fan. I bought a new exhaust fan but had trouble detaching the old one, so I had to call for help. I contacted Astera via Yelp message and got a response within a few minutes, even though it was a Sunday! They had a straightforward labor fee for replacing the fan, so I set an appointment for the next day. But when I went up the attic, I found that there were some modifications that needed to be done with how the exhaust fan was connected to the roof vent. I also wanted to completely remove another broken exhaust fan from the second bathroom.

I got a message from Astera company the next day saying that they would be able to come earlier than the scheduled time. I was happy to hear it since I had another plan that evening. Roman arrived at the expected time, and I explained the complexity of the project. He understood and knew exactly what to do. When I asked him if he did drywalls, he said he did! He also had experience with electrical projects, so he accepted my request to replace the light switch for the exhaust fan. Although each additional request cost more on top of the initial labor fee, the price was competitive, and I could trust Roman, seeing his quality of work and speed. I later canceled the switch replacement, but again, his skills and quality of work were above and beyond my expectations. It took him about 1.5 hours to complete everything. After he was done, he took photos and video of his work on the attic, which was super convenient. He also cleaned up very nicely after he was done with his work. I would give him six stars if that were an option!

I recommend Astera to those looking to replace bathroom exhaust fans, any electrical parts in the home, or any other house projects!

We had Alex today to do a tune-up for our Furnace and Air conditioner. He was very pleasant to work with, and he took time to clean up our air conditioner and furnace. We did notice that sometimes our air condisioner would run but no cool air coming out of the vents lately, and Alex found that it's caused by the compressor and had it replaced.

We had an issue with our dryer and needed it fixed as soon as possible. I submitted a request on Thumbtack, and Mia quickly gave me a call to schedule a technician for the next day. Vlad arrived right on time, diagnosed the problem, and had our dryer working again in less than an hour. Great experience overall and will continue to use the service. Thank you Vlad!

Technician was working hard and long until he found the reason of problem with my fridge . As the result he advised me to buy the new one because one of four sensors required too complicated installment and work for that would cost more then to by the new one. I am very much grateful to this technician.

Constantin was very thorough trying to diagnose water leakage issue with dishwasher. He suspected door gasket was the issue, and I think he may be right.
He ruled out all the more serious possibilities related to the dishwasher itself. We do have some sort of water leakage issue, which may be the gasket or a more serious plumbing issue. We agreed a "watch and document" approach was the way to go. He worked for over an hour, and charge was only $65.

I love this company! They fixed my washing machine leak for a very fair price. The serviceman was very friendly and polite, and he left his work area clean. I'm so grateful to have found a company I can trust to handle my appliance repairs.

Pros: scheduling was easy, technician was knowledgeble and curtious.
Cons: even though I provided the error code, technician did not have a replacement part with him. Required second appointment ro repair.

Setting up the appointment was easy and efficient. The service man was timely and notified me the time of his arrival.
He performed the maintenance quickly and efficiently. He notified me of a problem with the furnace and fixed it on the spot. He also cautioned me about the condition of the Water Heater.

During my annual furnace cleaning, the tech detected a smalll gas leak in the water heater valve. So grateful for his expertise and experience. He repaired the valve and a disaster was averted Can’t say enough good things about this company!

Have been trying to get my over the range microwave oven replaced for a very long time. Astera responded right away with a detailed quote. So pleased with the service that Vlad provided today.
