Emerald Tree Care treats our two Ash trees for several years. Our trees are in perfect conditions but most of untreated trees in our area are dead now.

I'm so glad I called Wayne at Emerald Tree Care! I have a large tree that is diseased, two other tree people had said that it was too far gone to save, but I only felt confident in the decision to remove the tree after I spoke with Wayne. He specializes in tree disease, is one of only 750 people in the whole world who specialize at his level, so now I will go ahead and get the tree removed. Thank you, Wayne.

Absolutely fantastic customer service! Wayne is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. He came out to visit a property during a pre-purchase inspection. His evaluation and recommendations were a tremendous help. Plus, I learned a whole bunch of cool things about the trees!

Emerald Tree Care has been treating my three parkway Ash trees for about 4 years and they are still very healthy. Whenever I have a question, Wayne White always either picks up the phone or gets back to me soon.

In 2012, Emerald Tree Care (ie. Wayne White) began treating my 4 ash trees that were planted in 1999. Two of the 4 ash trees are in my front and back yard and 2 are located in the parkway. The treatment consists of 2 steps; a liquid soil application around the base of the tree followed by an injection of insecticide into the trunk in multiple locations. The trees grew and matured beautifully thanks to Wayne's yearly treatment.

Beginning in 2014, the City of Naperville began treating all ash trees planted on city property and those planted on the street parkways. As a result, Wayne discontinued treatment on those 2 trees but continued to treat the other 2 ash trees on my property. Beginning in the summer of 2016, the health of one of the parkway ash trees deteriorated rapidly and in early 2017, the City of Naperville removed the tree saying it was a casualty of the Ash Borer.

I confirmed with the city that the treatment regimen they used was different from Wayne's, although I do not know what chemicals were used. The city either treats the soil around the trees OR injects the trunks of larger trees with a borer-fighting chemical. Emerald Tree Care does both.

The one parkway ash that was removed was only given a soil application. Surely the city decision to use only 1 instead of 2 steps was based on cost but I attribute the demise of this beautiful tree to the city's shortcut.

The 2 trees on my property that Wayne continues to treat are beautiful and thriving. Wayne also treats my 2 crabapple trees for seasonal apple scab and recently met me on my property to discuss corrective pruning opportunities.
