Reviews of local pros in Schaumburg, Illinois

Mac and his team went above and beyond from start to finish. The quoting process was simple, quick, and straightforward. They showed up exactly when they said they would, did a terrific job with the tree cutting, and cleaned everything up nicely afterward. They even went the extra mile and put my trash bins away for me. Highly recommend Mac and his team if you’re looking for reliable, professional service!

Mac is unbelievably reasonable and did an awesome job. He knows what he's doing and is very professional and polite. I have him coming back for more work just not enough time today. I will refer him to everyone I know.

Great service and great job! Very prompt and courteous. Had very large tree (50 ft) cut down and 2 smaller trees cut. Had trees mulched and put around house. Also had them cut logs for my fireplace. Cleaned up after job was complete. Will definitely recommend and use again!

I worked with Mac to have some trees and bushes trimmed and removed on my property. He did a phenomenal job and charged a fair price. Highly recommend.

Emailed Ark about a fallen tree and Mac quickly replied and suggested I send photos to see what was required. After emailing some photos I received a very reasonable quote and Mac and associate came and did a great job. I will be using Ark for my future tree services for sure. Thanks, Mac!

With the high winds we had last week, our Bradford Pear tree lost the central tallest branch going straight up. It finally broke yesterday (10-25-18) and was hanging over my patio. I was scared for my pup so I started calling around. Out of all the tree services, Mac was the only one that answered his phone right away. He was more than concerned for the safety of my pup. He assured me he would be out today (10-26-18). He even squeezed us in earlier than what he thought. He is a remarkable man. Very professional, kind, caring and really knows his trees. From start to finish, including clean-up he was in and out in about 1 hour. He is definitely my tree man for all services needed. Thanks Mac. It was a pleasure meeting you.

For those on a budget, it isn’t easy finding someone you can trust to take care of your home projects. I talked to a number of different tree specialists about getting two very long and thick branches removed from our gigantic maple tree out back—one of which curved like an arc and partially overshadowed our roof. After much deliberation, I went with my gut and chose Mac Karaban. I couldn’t have made a better decision. Right from the get go, I knew I chose wisely. You see, I put a lot of stock in how a contractor maintains their equipment. His van and tools were clean and organized, and he took care to follow all safety regulations throughout the process. Besides being on time—which also scores huge points for me—Mac was professional and easy to talk to. His fee was more than fair, and overall I was highly satisfied with his work. I would recommend this contractor.

Excellent service, fair pricing and easy to work with. Mac was friendly and was able to quote the job quickly with some photos via text. I highly recommend them and will advise my neighbors to contact Ark for any future tree work. -Kevin

Mac did an exceptional job in cutting back many large trees in a very overgrown yard. His customer service is outstanding and the quality of work was excellent. His crew of two worked hard to remove all the branches and they meticulously cleaned up the yard. We cannot say enough about Mac and would highly recommend him! His pricing also was very good.

Mac and crew did a phenomenal job, removing a large, dead sugar maple, and shaping our overgrown Chinese Elm into a neat canopy. Our lawn is full of perennials, lilac and hibiscus trees, lilies...the crew navigated the complex space nicely and left the property tidy. Mac really knows his trees, and enjoyed educating me about the mulberry and other trees on our property. I felt so motivated afterwards, I got up early next day to garden, before leaving for work. I highly recommend Ark Tree Service!

Excellent service!! Fair pricing and easy to work with. Mac was friendly and was able to quote the job quickly. Mac and his crew went above and beyond our expectations and were the most professional and safest company we have had at our home in years. Mac also was able to help us to recognize future issues and make recommendation’s to prevent any future problems with our trees. I highly recommend Ark Tree Service and will advise my friends and neighbors to contact Mac for any future tree work.
