I want to be clear - they are incredibly difficult to deal with. for simple maintenance work they required multiple phone calls, multiple appointments, and they harass you constantly to ask if you're going to make the appointment. most other landscaping companies handle this in 30 min or less. unacceptable. and finally had an appointment scheduled, they called frantically one hour before - I confirmed yes, it's fine....they DID NOT show up. I work fairly complex job, I travel, handle projects across the globe - this stuff should be significantly simpler. would not recommend if you value your time.

Absolutely wonderful experience with Skyline! We desperately needed to redo our boulevard strip and after reading many positive comments reached out to Skyline. Communication was fantastic throughout the project. They were wonderful working with us on the design through several iterations and did such a fantastic job that neighbors asked for their card and people stop to tell us how beautiful it looks. I would highly recommend them - we have already asked for their help on a new project. In a time when customer service seems at an all time low, Skyline is a shining jewel!

We used Skyline for snow removal this year and were very satisfied with their timeliness and quality of work. They are easy to work with and have great customer service. We are going to be contracting with them for landscaping now as well.

The management at Skyline is completely incompetent. We cancelled our contract after they provided the wrong services the first time and entered the property without warning.

Now again, after we canceled our services, months later they have entered the property without warning and claimed to have done services.

Stay away from Skyline Exteriors.

Skyline provided a cost-effective solution for our small backyard in Chicago city. They showed flexibility in problem-solving when our project ran into issues. The project lead was exceptionally dependable, communicative, and collaborative; and his crew was courteous and friendly. I would recommend this company. Thank you!

Do not show up. Last snowfall 12/6 to 12/7. Saturday to Sunday. Never showed. Called Sunday and Monday. Got AI. Kept calling and got Krishna. Promised verbally and in writing they would come out Monday 12/8. NO SHOW. I am elderly and cannot get to get to mail, garbage. Cannot get or order food. Not one spot of salt put down. I feel trapped and am angry.
Tuesday afternoon, 12-9. After multiple phone calls, still have no ETA. Having to contact neighbors for help. Now angry. They canceled me 12-9 for accessibility issues. There are none. I have a standard driveway and walkways. I told them not to do the back. Shameful waste of my time.

Krishna is a fantastic human being and is kind, responsive and respectful.
1. They text and email entirely to much throughout the snow removal season.
2. Last year I paid approximately $1900 for priority snow removal. This year the quote is $4830 for the same exact service as last year. They tried to say I was misquoted last year. Okay. Somehow they misquoted me by $3K? And didn't once admit their mistake so there wouldn't be sticker shock for a repeat customer? They said their other packages were only a 10% increase but it is a different package than I received for the same exact property as last year with fewer services.
3. There was very little cause for snow removal last year. The few times we did have snow their team shoved the snow directly across from the garage blocking part of our very narrow driveway in and out. As the snow accumulation wasn't terrible last year I didn't mention it to the company but spoke with the employees twice about snow pile location but it didn't seem to help.

I was already thinking that $2k was a bit much but roughly $5K for a driveway and sidewalk in Chicago is insane!

Skyline did a great job. They were professional and easy to communicate with which is rare for a landscaping company in my experience. They were also able to accommodate us in their schedule quickly. They did a very nice job of getting rid of the gross weeds under our patio and installing a rock bed. Would definitely use again, and highly recommend!

We had a complete yard redesign and planting in 1999, including driveway and turn around by a new garage. It was great to see workers drop what they were doing and help someone with a difficult task. They also did regular weekly maintenance until we sold the house in 2013.

One of their workers had a private snow removal business and he and even his young son kept our corner lot walks nicely cleared each winter.

Terrific experience...so happy with the outcome! They were attentive to every detail and was able to create what we had envisioned for our backyard.
